If you used the grill, please don't forget to clean it and empty the ashes into one of the garbage bags that are provided along with cleaning tools in the grill box next to the grill.
Please notify us of any damage or additional cleaning needed from your stay so we can notify our cleaners if needed. We hope we earned a five-star review and we can host you again soon.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
All guests and dogs must be on the reservation. Maximum 6 guests (over age 2) in each cottage. Please keep dogs off furniture/beds to avoid damage.
Smoking, vaping, marijuana, illegal drug use and fireworks on premises are prohibited and will result in a $1,000 fine in addition to cost of damages.
Quiet hours are 10:00 pm - 8:00 am. Parties/events are not allowed on premises. Guests are responsible for the costs of any damages during their stay.

What a great option for our family fall vacation including our dog! Oak Park Cottage had everything we needed and more.South Haven is so walkable. Beach, restaurants, market, museum, shops, trails. Family friendly and comfortable.The cottage was big enough to hide from rain drops, play family games and watch football.Definitely would check their calendar for our next stay.

Perfect for our family

We loved staying at this adorable cottage. It was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed. It was a 2-minute walk to Oak Beach, and about a 12-minute walk to North Beach. We spent most of our time at the beach and loved being so close. There were tons of beach toys and some boogie boards to use. We would definitely stay here again.

Absolute Perfection

We could not have been happier or more impressed with our stay. Not only were the owners responsive, but you could tell that they truly cared about our stay and experience. We brought our 3 dogs for this vacation and it was such a relief knowing they were safe but also very welcomed in the cottage. As most dog owners know, it’s difficult to find a place where your pets are welcomed and embraced, but there was no worries here! When we first arrived, the cleanliness was unmatched and there were amenities galore. We had everything we needed and more. The beds are comfortable, AC was functioning well, and the amount of beach toys were wonderful! All in all, if/when we ever return to South Haven, we already know where we’ll be staying. We cannot recommend enough!

Why they chose this property

Oak Park Cottages are conveniently located within a mile of seven beautiful Lake Michigan beaches and a vibrant downtown. We are in the heart of everything that South Haven has to offer, walking distance to everything. Just steps to Oak Beach, and a few blocks to area parks like Stanley Johnston Park where several festivals are held throughout the year and the Maritime Museum, home to the Friends Good Will and other sailing experiences. South Haven is known for its beautiful beaches, iconic lighthouse and gorgeous sunsets. We enjoy the restaurants, shopping, breweries, wineries, orchards and farm markets. We love being outdoors, and our area boasts over 48 miles of hiking and biking trails, 91 miles of kayaking and canoeing trails, 770 acres of nature preserves and 11 miles of horseback riding trails. There is so much to see and do - all year round.

What makes this property unique

Our cottages are dog-welcoming with dog beds with sheets changed after every stay, dog bowls, bags and cleaning supplies if needed, and we never charge additional fees or have restrictions. We include lots of dog-friendly recommendations for the area, and have specialty cleaners, dog walkers, groomers and even a massage therapist who does dog massage as part of our team.
