Great spot. Nice and quiet with easy access to the beaches and walking trails. I was very excited to discover Kawela Bay. Highly recommend to check out some sea turtles away from some of the crowds. Easy to get in and out of and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Thanks for a great experience.

Reviewer Comments: adequate facilities. comfortable bed & sofa bed. good number of towels. also w/d was key!had some trouble checking in, as the front door combo was not what was originally communicated. thankfully, a security guard was able to connect with management and get us in the unit. whew!however, the unit was clearly dated, with lots of dings and nicks, and worn items. also, each day, we happened to find one dead cockroach. one by the dining table, one under media console, one under the a/c, one in kitchen :(

safe, clean and comfortable!

The unit worked very well for me and my husband.I loved the breezes coming through the from the patio and he appreciated the air conditioning in the bedroom. If we had any questions, the property manager was very helpful and friendly. The easy access to the stores and beaches at Turtle Bay resort was an extra bonus. I also appreciated that 10 pm -8am quiet time that was expected of guests.

Happy customer

This is our third stay at Turtle Bay condos and we’ve enjoyed each stay. The unit has everything you need and is in very good condition. A couple of things need to be addressed but have notified the property manager directly. They did not affect our stay. Love the grounds, pool, beach and quiet neighbourhood. Definitely able to kick back and relax.

The bathroom has been updated so that was a bonus as well as a new fridge. It had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. There were some baby cockroaches but that was not a deal breaker. We would stay here again.

Reviewer Comments: We hade made reservations with a Airbnb vacation rental company for 4 nights, and when we arrived the rental was not as advertised, not clean, and not safe. So I reached out to Kuilima Estates for the remaining 3 nights, they were very friendly, and extremely helpful in finding us accommodations on very short notice and we hade a great time - very nice place. Thank you for saving our vacation.

There was a nice view of the golf course and it was close to the tennis courts and pool. The unit had air conditioning and ceiling fans in both the master bedroom as well as the living room area. The master bedroom had a full size bed and the mattress wasn't the most comfortable that I've slept on but it was adequate. The couch in the living room had a pull out sleeper mattress which was also not overly comfortable. All in all, however, we would consider using this rental again. The price was great and the location was excellent with easy access to beaches and north shore activities.

There was a regular drip coffeemaker but no coffee for even the first day. There was a mini bar of soap in the bathroom; sink was newer and nice. In the kitchen, a mini bottle of dish soap & a wet dish sponge laying inside the sink--I wasn't sure if the sponge was what the previous guests used to wash their dishes with, or if the cleaners used it to clean the sink so I used very hot water and soap to wash it out before using it for our dishes. Suggestions: a new, unopened dish sponge, a little coffee, and bedroom curtains that filter out the outdoor building lighting. We were not in the unit much since we were in a golf tournament with a group so it provided an adequate place to sleep and shower.

We had no hot water for several hours which needed to be fixed while we were there. We killed 4 cockroaches in the bedroom, the fridge door was covered in rust, the bathroom needed serious updating.,,,the toilet didn't flush properly and the shower valve was ready to break. We feel that all of these things should have been addressed before putting the unit into a rental situation.

Ultimate Turtle Bay Condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was an amazing place to stay. Like mentioned in other reviews, this condo is a little older and is maybe less updated. That being said, it was the perfect rental. It was very clean! (Especailly in all the places you REALLY want clean. ex. the bedding, inside of fridge, and bathroom)It had all the needed amenities including stove, fridge, coffee maker, dishes, and AIR CONDITIONER in the bedroom. It had cable t.v. and internet. The closets were stocked with extra blankets,pillows and towels, as well as ironing boards, laundry detergent, toilet paper and basic cleaning items. The area was very quiet and beautiful. The pool was close by, and the resort was very welcoming. It was a quick walk to the beach and to the resort, where we were welcome to eat at the bar and watch the sunset. The resort has one of the most beautiful beaches, and we went to all of them. We will be staying here again with out a doubt and sending all our family and friends there. This is the way to vacation, away from the traffic and crowds of Waikiki or Honolulu. Although communication with property management was minimal and only through e-mail and key drop off, they were very helpful and ready to assist with anything.
