The stay in bass harbor was perfect. The house is beautiful, clean, and in a quiet area. The owner Diane was very attentive to us and very quick and helpful to lend us some ideas on places to check out in the area. We would absolutely return.
This property is a gem! Brand new with very nice amenities you will not be disappointed with the cabin. We were 2 couples and although the cabin is small it accommodated us nicely. The outdoor space is perfect for relaxing after of day of hiking and exploring. Bar harbor and the park are about a 30 minute easy drive but southwest harbor has a cool vibe of its own. We watched the sun rise and the sunset from the lighthouse. Diana was easy to work with! The 4 of us were quite impressed with the cabin.
Lovely, fresh, and cozy place. Loved the hot tub, the deck was beautiful and I wish we had time to use the nice fire pit surrounded by the trees. Beds were comfortable and showers great. The TV is quite high and due to space the couches are not set back enough. I’m not sure with the space if you could improve it much. We got used to it. It was a great place to unwind after exploring the park and the lighthouse and seawall are just around the corner.
Perfect location on the “Quietside” of the island. We used the cabin as our home base for hikes and exploring Acadia, which is about 30 minutes away. The hot tub and fire pit were perfect for unwinding after long days in the park. Diana and C were very communicative and helpful, and we’d absolutely stay again on our next trip.
Beautiful setting, evenings after a day of hiking or shopping a clean well kept hot tub. The furnishings delightful and fresh inside and out!Clean and wonderful. I have already booked the same home for next year! Cadillac Mountain is so close.
The home was exactly as described with the hot tub ready to use on arrival! Host was communicative and answered all our questions. We had everything we needed to grill and have a fire pit too. Highly recommend!
The property was exactly as described. Clean and quiet, which was especially great for our pet. Wonderful location. Saw deer meandering within 20 ft of the property every day. Just beautiful area. Great communication. Highly recommend!
Low-key, quiet street housing a beautiful renovated property. Eclectic, spotless interior( 2 story living room, suspended staircase, huge windows) every amenity at your fingertips. Location works well for touring all the sites in Acadia
Outstanding property, beautifully furnished, with lots of attention paid to details! Communication was prompt, courteous, and professional! I wish we could have stayed longer!! The close proximity to the Bass Harbor lighthouse was so convenient- we were close enough to walk down to the lighthouse. The wild turkeys and deer sightings were a real treat!!
Our first visit to Acadia, and we enjoyed a wonderful relaxing stay! Diana was very quick answering our questions, and the cabin was spotlessly clean. We enjoyed having a full kitchen and outdoor grill for cooking, and sitting outside around an open fire. The cabin is a short 15-20 minute walk to iconic Bass Harbor Head lighthouse, and a short drive to Acadia National Park. EV charging too if you need it!

Clean House
This home was clean. The beds were comfortable. Be sure to visit the Pickeled Wrinkle Restaurant in Birch Harbor. Totally worth the drive. We visited after exploring Raven’s Nest. The view of that is worth the drive as well. Bring your own toilet paper. Bamboo is not our friend. :0
Location is away from hustle/bustle, easy access to main Acadia. Nearby beginner trails and lighthouse. Drive required for main Acadia Park hiking or Carriage Road access. Property brand new. Quiet street. Property Manager very attentive. Very clean. Small but quaint.
Perfect! The property is well laid out inside and outside. Check in was so easy. The cabin was spotless, decorated for style and function, and makes you feel comfortable being away. Truly a luxurious stay. Loved all the little touches, like the lotions, bathrobes, and cotton tips/pads. Great linens and towels. The outside space is peaceful, great grill, hot tube and fire pit we used them all with ease. We loved the location, was close enough to access all the hikes we wanted and surrounding local area sites and restaurants. So convenient for going to Acadia national park. We had the best time! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
We had a wonderful stay in Bass Harbor. The property was exactly as advertised—beautiful, spotless, and very comfortable. The host was friendly and responsive, making everything easy from start to finish. We especially appreciated being able to bring our dog along, which made the trip even more enjoyable. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this property.
