Fun times in Osage Beach - 3 bedroom house in Racetrack Cove

You will certainly enjoy any days you spend at this newly listed 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with vaulted ceilings at the 28 MM. It's a peaceful setting in a light-filled home with tons of huge windows to take in all of the lake views. The top floor has 2 bedrooms with a Jack and Jill bathroom in-between. One bedroom has a king-size bed where you can lay in bed and enjoy the gorgeous lake view or step out on the balcony to take it all in. The other bedroom on this level has a full-size bed with twin bunk beds. Walk down the flight of stairs to the lower level which walks out to the lake. The kitchen is fully stocked and has newer stainless steel appliances. The 3rd bedroom is on this level with a queen bed and attached bathroom (that also opens to the kitchen). There are ceiling fans in all of the bedrooms.

On the deck we have 2 different tables plus a couple of comfortable outdoor chairs to enjoy the breathtaking views on Racetrack Cove. There are only a few steps down to the dock which has 2 slips available for your use (31 and 33 feet, each with lifts). We also have a lily pad, picnic table, and loungers available for your use.

We know that pets are an integral part of many guests' lives so we make it easy to enjoy your vacation by allowing you to bring well-behaved pets without charging any extra fees. All we ask is that you ensure they are kenneled if you are leaving the property without them and that they are fully potty trained. We are pet lovers and enjoy traveling with our pets so it's important to us that you are able to do the same.

This property is a relatively new listing but we have 2 other established VRBO properties at the Lake of the Ozarks so I am an experienced host and I strive to provide an enjoyable stay for all guests. I live in the area and keep my phone on 24/7 to be available if there are any issues during your stay.

The kitchen has quality cups, plates, utensils, knives, wine glasses, pots/pans, toaster, coffee pot, blender, cutting boards, measuring cups, measuring spoons, pizza cutter, ice cream scoop, wine opener, storage containers, etc.

The bedrooms have comfortable linens and the bathrooms have nice towels. We don't put out anything we wouldn't want to use ourselves.

Please note, there is plenty of parking at our house but there are a considerable number of steps from the parking area to the front door (42 well-constructed concrete steps with a landing halfway down). I have added a gravel driveway down to the house suitable for parking up to two 4WD vehicles.

We loved this property with our dogs. The jet ski lift made the water accessible for our dogs and also just great for swimming. The property was clean and owners super accommodating and communicative.

Great LOZ vacation

We spent 4 great days at Rusty’s place on the Lake of the Ozarks. It was in a really great location convenient to plenty of shopping and restaurants. We brought our boat so loved having the dock right off the back deck and in a nice cove off the main channel. Rusty is great with communicating and his neighbors and great as well. Highly recommend.

Great stay at the lake

We had an amazing time staying at this property. 4 kids from 8-16 and 2 dogs. We fished, swam, and boated all around a softball tournament. Overall this was probably one of the better vacations we have had the last few years because of all there is to do on the water. Property owner was great and answered any questions we had and made himself available if we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Good Relaxing Time

House was great little tight for my big group but we made it work. Its located in a cove so you could see plenty of others enjoying the lake. One night a band was playing and we could sit on dock and enjoy the music. The outdoor lighting on deck was pretty. Owner was super nice. Doggies loved the big window so were able to see us when on dock

Had a great experience renting this property. Brought our boat and we were able to tube with the kids inside of the cove without needing to go out into the main channel. Owner/manager was very available and attentive. We will rent again. Thanks Rusty :-)

I absolutely love the lake. I started coming here as a kid and when it was time to think about planning for retirement I decided to build a home for myself at the Lake of the Ozarks. I have siblings who also have homes here at the lake. I decided to open up my first house to short-term rentals and quickly realized how fun it was to share what I had built with others. We now have 3 short-term rentals at the lake. Our other two properties are on the westside, near Gravois Mills.

I'm a retired police officer, originally from Iowa, and I've spent the last 32 years based in Arizona. I now split my time between the lake and our home in Phoenix. I am at the lake all summer (there's nowhere else I'd rather be) and I'm always available to my renters by phone 24/7 when someone is staying at one of my properties. My wife still works fulltime in Arizona but she's at the lake with me as often as her schedule permits. We have 2 dogs and 3 cats (so yes, we really love animals).

My goal is to have my renters love the lake as much as I do. There's so much to do here, whether you want to spend your day out on the water or just enjoy some quiet time away from your normal life. I want you to consider my home your home while you stay with us. If there's anything you need to make your stay more enjoyable, please let me know. Our goal is to build a repeat business with people who want to come back every year so I am very responsive to requests and suggestions.

Why they chose this property

The house is in a relaxing cove setting, but there is so much to do within 20 minutes or less from this property. We are close by land and water to all of the popular lakefront spots in the Osage Beach area, such as Margaritaville, The Hatch, Larry's on the Lake, The Fish and Co., Paradise, Backwater Jacks, Redhead's, etc., as well as only a 20 minute drive to the natural beauty and trails of Ha Ha Tonka State Park. We are also very close to the Big Surf Waterpark and Seven Springs Winery. If you like to shop while you're at the lake, you should definitely check out Evergreen (which is right before the turn to our road). It's packed with lots of fun decor and gift items.
