SUMMARY Welcome to our cute & charming studio apartment just 2 blocks to the ocean in the heart of beautiful North Pacific Beach. This offering features a shared large fully-fenced yard with ample seating & a shared BBQ. There is a convenient 1 car parking space, single-level with no stairs, rare full kitchen, Smart TV & short walk to amazing local eats! Maximum occupancy 4 (2 adults max + 2 small children). Notes: There is one small portable A/C onsite; NO washer/dryer included with this unit. *Note - up to 20 people can be available, inquire with us!
OUR HOME This oversized studio apartment is the perfect beach vacation getaway for up to 4 guests (2 adults max + 2 small children). You'll step into the spacious living area with a rare full sized & fully stocked kitchen with bar seating, a King bed, futon sofa for 2 small children & Flat Screen Smart TV. There is a full sized bathroom with a tub/shower combo and a full sized closet to store all of your belongings.
EXTERIOR & OTHER FEATURES Oversized lot that consists of 2 individual detached houses. This offering is in the downstairs back unit which includes a shared fenced yard that is professionally landscaped with ample patio seating & a shared BBQ. Beach amenities are included as complimentary for our guests including sand toys, beach chairs, and boogie boards.
PARKING - 1 Carport Parking Space (approx. dimensions 7'3”W x 17'3”D) - Additional overnight parking includes the street (be sure to read street sweeping signs)
LOCATION “Where the locals hang!” Our home is located in a beautiful family friendly area of North Pacific Beach. Just 2 blocks to the Ocean, white sandy beaches & famous Tourmaline Surf Park.
Walking distance to shops, restaurants, and entertainment on Mission Blvd, Turquoise St, and Garnet Ave. Endless mom & pop shops and fantastic family and fine dine eats, including Oscar's Mexican Seafood, The Fishery, Bareback Burger, Second Nature Eatery & Latitude 32 to name a few. A quick Uber ride or bike ride will get you to Mission Beach, featuring Belmont Park's big dipper coaster and Wavehouse flow rider. Enjoy kayaking or stand up paddle boarding, jogging/walking/biking up and down the Boardwalk that starts just a couple blocks from our house!
Other attractions include ~5min drive to Sea World, over the hill is ~15min drive to the famous San Diego Zoo, and just ~20min drive to Downtown & the Airport. This is a perfect spot to enjoy all that San Diego has to offer, contact one of our friendly staff today!
POLICIES & GOOD NEIGHBOR GUIDELINES • GUEST REQUIREMENTS | Per certain regulations & HOA requirements, guests must be at least 30 years of age to book with us. If your group is all adults, then all guests must meet our minimum age of 30. • OCCUPANCY | Our maximum occupancy refers to the number of people allowed in the home at any given time (i.e. includes both guests & visitors), some of which may be mandated by certain regulations. Exceptions towards the maximum number of people allowed may be made for children under the age of 2. Guest(s) agrees that more than the number of people stated on the reservation shall not occupy the premises. The number of guests includes visitors, even if they are not staying overnight. • NOISE | Our homes are intended for relaxing getaways, not rowdy beach parties. Music and other noise is to be kept at an appropriate level and in a manner that is mindful to neighbors. Noise that can be heard 50 feet away from the home is prohibited. Parties are not allowed. If there is excessive noise or music, any illegal activity, or evidence of violation of these policies, you may be asked to vacate the premises without any refund and additional charges may be assessed. • COMBINATION LISTINGS | Due to occupancy restrictions, larger groups looking to book multiple units must reserve an approved combination listing. No more than 1 combination listing can be reserved per stay. • RESERVATION CONFIRMATION | Upon confirmation of your reservation, you will receive arrival instructions, parking details, wifi access, and tips on local eats & attractions.

The location is pretty good and the place was clean. The bed is very hard and when there are people upstairs it is really noisy. Management was very responsive and clearly cares.

This is the first VRBO property which was a little disappointing!! The information on the listing did not reflect the property accurately!! NO useable parking and NOT 2 blocks to the Beach.

Thank you for your review Hal- We do have in our listing that the parking space dimensions are 7’3”W x 17’3”D. This home also has two streets between it and the ocean, which is why it is advertised as "2 blocks from ocean". We appreciate your feedback!

Week in Pacific Beach
This studio was perfect for a week stay for my girlfriend and I. Unit is as advertised in photos/listing. Beach chairs and towels provided are a huge bonus. Great location in Pacific Beach - 10 min walk to the beach and 15 min walk to restaurants/bars. Check in/out process super easy. Parking spot provided is very small and won't fit most cars but street parking is easy.

Recent stay in San Diego, unhappy
Positives: location, comes with parking, checkin process
Negatives: Expired soap and conditioner, dusty sheets and pillows, partially working gas stove, stained quilt, very narrow parking ( mid size sedan or compact cars are only fitting ones). It was not worth the value,, probably a hotel could have beenna better choice.

Ehh. One or two nights tops.
Diana, the property manager, was incredibly responsive and helpful. Unfortunately, that's where it stops. In the review/summary, it mentioned upstairs neighbors and shared space but in residential along with parking. The parking is sufficient if you have a smart car, as the space is incredibly small; there is street parking, thankfully. When I arrived, the people upstairs were loudly arguing, and the shared space concept seemed foreign to them. Also, the head of the bed is right by the garage, so be prepared to hear that.
Additionally, you can hear every step upstairs and almost hear their conversations. If you'll be out most of the day and noise doesn't disturb sleep, it's good for a night or two. It was very clean and about a 10-minute walk to the beach.

I am so glad you found our Studio to be clean and in great proximity!
I really wish you had called the 24/7 guest line, we could have at least remedied the noise above. We do ask all guests to respect the common areas. Our "Suitability Notes" on this listing does state that you can hear guests above, we did not know about the garage. We will talk to owners about sound proofing the ceiling and garage wall.
I unfortunately think you got a bad timing with it all - So sorry about that! As this unit has been renting on a different third party site with great reviews - but we cannot improve what we do know - so we appreciate the feed back.
