Charming 2-bedroom beach house with exceptional outdoor space! DOG FRIENDLY!

Beach Run is one of the most unique homes in Fort Morgan! We are dog friendly, with permission obtained from the owners during booking, and additional fees that apply. Enjoy ocean views from the spacious, covered back porch, and bay views from the front porch. Under the home we have a deck space with a fully furnished living room set, complete with 70 inch outdoor TV and bar area. There is a dining table and additional seating as well. We have a dedicated grilling space, with a charcoal grill and adirondack lounge chairs for relaxing in the sun, or under the string lights after dark. Storage space for beach chairs and toys are located under the stairs, as is a private outdoor shower area. With the entire deck area fenced in, there is also a small yard space included, making this space safe and enjoyable for children and furry friends.

Within the home, we have 2 bedrooms, each with their own private bath, then an additional guest bath, accessible off the living room. There is a dedicated laundry room, with full-sized washer and dryer. The kitchen contains full-sized major appliances and a pantry, as well as numerous small appliances to enjoy meals cooked at home during your stay. Enjoy your morning coffee prepared at our coffee bar, complete with the latest model Keurig for brewing pods and preparing drip coffee, as well. Our dining table seats 8 people. One bedroom contains a single queen bed and the other one has 2 queen beds. The living room sofa has a pull out queen bed also. Both bedrooms and the living room have views of the ocean!

The ocean is a less than 5 minute walk away! We have a path to walk to the beach from the back of our home, and a dedicated public access is located close by, for easy access. Likewise, there is also an access to the bay within walking distance, on the other side of Highway 180. Our area offers the best of both worlds, with almost complete seclusion at home, but within 20 minutes of Gulf Shores for shopping, dining, and recreation.

Entertaining property!! The downstairs was so nice to have an enclosed space for dogs, big TV and plenty of seating. We spent a bunch of time down there. Included mini industrial ice maker was nice to have. Very enjoyable property and wonderful communication.

Great place!

Awesome Beach House

The house was clean, very nicely decorated, and had everything you needed to prepare meals if you do desired. We'd book again if we return to the area.

New Year’s week stay

Highly recommend this property! We stayed here for a week and could not have enjoyed it more. Very close proximity to the beach, with a lovely view of the ocean from the back porch. The outdoor space under the house is a huge added bonus!

My family and I had the best time here at Beach Run . House is exactly as advertised. Perfect for our family and fur baby. The outdoor area underneath was awesome for grilling, relaxing and watching football . The grand babies could run around and play safely. Hope to visit here again soon !

Third time at Beach run just as good as the first

This is our third stay at the Beach Run, and it was just as good as the first even with new owners everything was very clean and you had all the essentials you needed, plus the downstairs area is basically another playground, and with the addition of an outdoor shower, this thing is just about perfect!! Jack was a wonderful host, and I would recommend this place to anyone!!We plan to stay again next year and can’t wait

The home is in a very good location. The lower level is relaxing, and we spent a lot of time there. I will say that the house was not as clean as I would expect: dirty bathroom rugs and dog fur in the bed, under the couch was dirty as well. My adult daughter found a half-drank bottle of whiskey wrapped up in the blankets in the closet. Check in was easy.

The host sent very helpful information right before our stay. Check-in/out was very seamless. The rooms were very comfy and was a great setup for dogs. (Railings didn't have large gaps or spacing, fences and gates the same) Very close to the beach entry. The only thing we had issues with really weren't controllable by the property owner. Dogs that have to go potty on grass need to go off property...not far though. And they shrubs around the beachy area all have sandspurs that get stuck in the toe beans. This can be solved more by sticking directly to sand paths...but something to note for pup owners. Overall great stay.

Thanksgiving Getaway

We had a wonderful time staying at this beach house! The owner/ host was very responsive with any questions regarding the property. The downstairs area beneath the house was awesome! Great area to hang out with our dogs and watch football on the huge TV. It was an easy walk to the beach access. Everything was at the house we needed for the trip.We’re already looking at dates in 2025 for our next stay.

We had a great time. Two minute walk to the beach. We traveled with our dogs and absolutely loved the space under the house. It was fenced in and has a 70" tv out there. Which wax great to relax, hang out with the dogs and watch playoff baseball. The only complaint I have would be the internet. I'm not sure how many options are out there for internet but Centurylink is too slow. Other than the internet our stay was fantastic. The house was great. I loved the balcony in the mornings to sit and watch the sunrise. We would most definitely stay again.

Hey Jacob. Glad you and the family had a great trip. Yeah, the internet can be a problem. They have yet to run even cable internet out that way, so we are stuck with rural DSL internet providers. I've been looking at a couple other providers that may be more consistent. Thanks for your feedback, and I hope we can host you again.

This property needs some TLC. I realize it is the end of the summer season, but the house was quite dirty. I had to clean the floors and kitchen upon arriving. In fact, I washed kitchenware and cookware before using. Food splatters and stains very obvious on the kitchen cabinets. Sand, dust bunnies and pet hair were quite evident. For these reasons, I gave 7/10 because I don’t know why I should pay a cleaning fee when I had to clean. My initial impression was this house is more of a cabin than a beach house. Way too much clutter in ALL closets and linens that could be better stored. That being said, the home is quite cute. The beds were comfortable and the outside patio area was fantastic. We had a wonderful vacation and thoroughly enjoy

We are owners that do not live close to the home, so we rely on our guests to let us know if something is not up to par. I would have appreciated if you would have let me know when you checked in if things were not to your liking and what the issues were. I would have been happy to call our cleaning company and have them make the situation right. I do hope you will give us another chance in the future. All the best to you and yours!
