Romantic Affordable Luxury with Custom Furnishings New King Bed with Ocean View
SeaSwan Suite is a completely private fully air conditioned one bedroom apartment in our new villa. Only eight minutes drive from Cruz Bay guests have their own parking and private walkway to the apartment. No steps offer easy access from parking to the apartment. Double french doors open to 1200 square feet of beautifully appointed space. Soft colors of sea foam and sand with travertine marble floors greet each guest. Four double french doors open on to the sun deck, a cocktail deck and covered bedroom deck to the spectacular view. On a clear day you can see thirty five miles to Puerto Rico or awaken to three or four masted sailing ships crossing Pillsbury Sound. Twenty-four acres of undeveloped land in front of SeaSwan offers an unobstructed view of St Thomas Pillsbury Sound and the Caribbean Sea. WIFI connection is fast and works on all the decks and throughout the apartment. SeaSwan is 620 feet above sea level offering soft breezes paved roads and paved driveway assuring no auto adventures. The villa is at the very end of Gifft Hill Lane with no neighbors on three sides providing both quiet and privacy. SeaSwanSuite is the only apartment. The comfortable living room has a custom upholstered sectional and ottoman to gaze at the view or watch your favorite show on a flat screen TV with satellite service. The spacious bedroom with king bed ( the mattress gets rave reviews) the reading area a loveseat and desk to send postcards to friends offers ample space to stretch out. The bedroom armoire also has a flat screen TV for night time viewing with 250 channels. It is a wonderful room in which to awaken with a spectacular view and great night's rest. Or reading the paper and lingering in bed while on vacation. French doors off the spacious bedroom open to a covered deck with double chaise for romantic evenings watching the sunset over the Caribbean and sharing a glass of wine.
The bath is large with marble shower and shower seat. Hair products hair dryer and bath amenities are included to avoid extra packing of hair care items. Towels are thick and luxurious and give guests a pampered feel.
The new kitchen has GE appliances including dishwasher aqua corian counters and is fully appointed. Tap water is completely purified and bottled water is not necessary.
The sun deck off the kitchen looks out over the garden with views of Pillsbury Sound and St Thomas. Have breakfast enjoying the view of both garden and the sea or enjoy the stunning sunsets from every view. Unique to Sea Swan the kitchen is fully stocked with all the basic staples. An array of spices,condiments, and all the paper supplies needed to prepare in home meals are provided. All guests receive a complimentary welcome basket with wine and cheese sodas and beer. A complimentary breakfast basket with Alyce's homemade muffins, coffee tea's fruit and all breakfast items are included to start the first morning of your vacation.
As night falls you will see a moonlight sea with the lights of St. Thomas twinkling in the distance.Watch cruise ships as they leave for their next port of call. The night sky is full of stars for star gazing. During the full moon the reflection over the water of Pillsbury Sound is unmatched. Holiday fireworks can be viewed right from the deck in the night sky.
Sea Swan is well located to dining, beautiful beaches and shopping. Cruz Bay is less than eight minutes and the North Shore beaches about twelve minutes drive. For guests with cell service providers not available on St.John a Go Phone is provided for guest's use during their stay.
A full laundry for guests use only is adjacent to the apartment. Beach towels beach rugs ,beach chairs coolers of every size and everything you need is provided for a memorable island vacation.

About Alyce Jordan
Paul and Alyce met through a personal ad in Philadelphia Magazine.We first visited St. John in 1989 at the suggestion of good friends who knew we would love the island and it's romance.We retired to St John in 1998 after our plans to build SeaSwan were approved. Paul a retired industrial designer acted as the general contractor on SeaSwan and when the villa was completed in 2013 began taking guests fly fishing for bone fish. As president of the VI Olympic Shooting team and ham radio enthusiast Paul is active in the St. John community. His call sign is NP2JF. Paul loves the people and history of St. John and is always happy to share it with guests. Knowledgeable about the beaches and hiking trails Paul gives guests all the local information as well as best fishing spots. Alyce is an active project person an avid gardener as her orchids and gardens are well known. Alyce loves to cook, entertain and bakes wonderful treats for Sea Swan guests. Always an RN Alyce worked in Nursing Administration and then as an executive in health insurance for twenty years before retiring to St. John. Failing retirement Alyce returned to clinical nursing as an ER nurse on St. John in 2001." How fortunate I am to do work I love." We feel very lucky to live on such a beautiful spot on St. John and enjoy sharing our home with guests from all over the world.

Alyce & Paul had the opportunity to purchase the land for Sea Swan in 1998. We knew the view would be good but didn't realize it would be spectacular. Even long time StJohnians are amazed at the wonderful view. We wanted this property because of it's privacy. Our exact location can be viewed using the satellite view on Google Maps.http://goo.gl/Qxxbr3 We previously owned Plumeria and managed it as a short term rental for sixteen successful years. SeaSwan is at the very end of the lane.There are 24 acres of undeveloped land in front of SeaSwan and a 180 degree view of the Caribbean sea. At 622 feet above sea level we enjoy gentle trade winds and complete quiet and privacy.
What makes this Apartment unique
The view is amazing and guests arrive and are taken aback when they first see it. On a clear day you can see over 100 miles. We often get the comments of "it's better than the pictures". Complete privacy for our guests. After our guests are greeted we may only see them if they seek us out or need assistance. SeaSwan is luxurious and all the seating and bedding has been chosen for comfort. Alyce & Paul stock the kitchen with all the basics unusual for rental villas. Each guest receives a wine and cheese welcome basket and breakfast basket with Alyce's homemade muffins.

Great one bedroom apartment with everything that you need for a comfortable St John stay. Comfortable king bed, nice shower, well stocked kitchen and lovely patio to watch sunsets over St Thomas. Can’t wait to return!
Beautiful apartment and location couldn’t be better
We had some concerns about returning to St.John this year but once we arrived to SeaSwan we were ecstatic. Wini our greeter met us and led us to the villa to that has the most spectacular view. Once inside, the apartment is decorated with high end furnishings in soft tropical colors. The bath towels are amazing and king bed wonderful. We had breakfast every morning on the covered patio with the birds chirping and watching the sunrise on the sailboats and islands in the distance. The beaches were as beautiful as we remembered and we loved eating in Cruz Bay a few nights as all the restaurants are back aand we had many choices. We cooked in two nights and enjoyed the grill and ate under the stars with the best view on St. John. We highly recommend SeaSwan.

Great space for a couple with everything you need for an island visit!
We recently stayed for a week in the Seaswan apartment and loved it! For anyone hesitant to come back after the hurricanes, don't be! There was very little noticeable damage to the apartment from Irma/Maria if that is a concern. This place had everything you would need for your visit and more, I wish all villas were this well stocked as it would make packing so much easier! Wifi worked great and the water being filtered and drinkable was a huge plus, no need for bottles. Easy 10-15 minute drive from town, no crazy roads to navigate (by island standards). Alyce was always available by phone or email if any questions came up, she was great to deal with!

Wonderful stay on Gifft Hill
This property was wonderful! Everything you would need for your stay! The views are amazing! Alyce was wonderful to work with. She makes sure that everything is just right for you stay even if she is not on the Island! The accommodations were wonderful and I would stay there again. The only thing you would need is a beach bag. There was a cooler, towels, beach chairs, snorkel gear,and floating noodle chairs for the ocean! The fridge was even stocked with essentials!
