SoHa's SOUTH BEACH PEACH is a gem, close to downtown, the marina, and Lake Michigan beaches. It has 3 bedrooms plus a basement area enclosed private bonus room with a sofa bed, and a family room with a pullout sofa bed, which provides sleeping space for 10 people, maximum. Queen size bed mattresses are supplemented with toppers and sofa bed mattresses are upgraded.
Walk to Kid's Corner Park, the "Blue Stairs" of South Beach, all within a few blocks. Downtown is less than a mile away! There is a splash pad at South Beach now, too! This home is full of light and comfortable surroundings with a well appointed kitchen, a large deck for barbecues and a fenced yard. Lower level family room with a bar and comfortable seating, for times the weather doesn't cooperate. The Van Buren Trail Spur is located nearby for bikers or walkers to go downtown South Haven or on a longer trip to either the Kal-Haven trail or Van Buren State Park. Come enjoy beach days, sunsets and relaxation for your South Haven vacation!
PLEASE NOTE, this property is not a beachfront location and there is a deck, not a patio.
Fall, Winter and Spring Season is a 2 night minimum. If you need to cancel for any reason after reserving the property you must do so up to 14 days prior to your stay to receive a 100 % refund, 7 days prior to receive a 50 % refund. Cancellation within 7 days of your reserved stay, your payment will not be refunded. Rental agreement is subject to availability. Reservation can be made within the 7 day time period. If a reservation is made within the 7 days prior to the actual rental time period then payment will be forfeited if cancellation occurs.

Summer Season is a 7 night minimum. Rental is Friday to Friday. If you need to cancel for any reason 60 days or more from your reservation, your payment will be 100 % refunded. If you cancel between 30 and 60 days, 50 % of your payment will be refunded. If you cancel within 30 days of your reservation, there will be no refund.
Rental agreement is subject to availability. Reservation can be made within the 60 day time period. If a reservation is made within the 30 days prior to the actual rental time period then payment will be forfeited if cancellation occurs.

Beach towels, if used, must be laundered and returned to linen closet prior to departure. Keys must be returned to lock box.
Refrigerator must be emptied upon departure. All personal belongings must be removed from premises.
Paper Supplies (ie., toilet paper, 3 rolls per bathroom and paper towels, 1 roll) provided. Remainder needed for the week is renter's responsibility.

Our stay was wonderful. The house was perfect for our family. The beach was a five minute walk and having the cart to load the chairs and other things on too was very helpful. We had one problem with the house and it was addressed immediately by the owners.We would definitely rent this house again

Best Vacation in South Haven

We had the best time at this gem of a house. It was clean, comfortable, fully equipped and on a very quiet street. The location couldn’t be better. It was a short walk to the beach and evening sunsets. The host was great with communication, both before and during our stay. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Excellent rental

Our family (4 adults and 3 small children) have rented this property for a number of years. The house is very nice and the neighborhood is lovely. Proximity to Kids' Corner (playground) and the blue stairs (beach access) is priceless. Town is a couple of minutes drive away but also very walkable. Cora the property manager is wonderful. We will be back!

Great trip to South Haven

We had a great trip to South Haven during the Fourth of July week. We could easily walk to Kids Corner and the Beach from this house's location which was especially convenient for viewing the fireworks too! The back porch was great for meals and the house had everything we needed.

Great vacation rental house!

Loved the layout of the house and the proximity to the beach and the playground. The communication was clear and made check-in and check-out an easy process.

Great Stay

The house was perfect. Everything we needed was there, close to the beach, great A/C, grill, kitchen beach chairs, beach towels laundry etc. Nothing but praise for Cora, very responsive and has a nice house to share. No issues, everything worked and worked well. Thank you.

Everything was fantastic except for all the televisions didn’t work. Our host Cora tried to help us but we just didn’t have the time to try the help she sent us. The house was spotless and beautiful. We would love to rent this house again down the line.

Amazing!!!

First things first.The house is absolutely wonderful. The house details listed were very accurate. It had enough space to accommodate four people very comfortably. The beds were comfortable- and with someone who has chronic back pain and sciatic nerve problems, the beds allowed for a restful night. The neighborhood is extremely quiet. Cora -our host, was absolutely amazing when it came to communication. Check-in /Check-out was great. We will definitely be back.

Great Location in South Haven

This house just needs a few enhancements to make it spectacular. The host was very accommodating and easy to contact, but there were a few amenities lacking. (like a hair dryer) It was a little off-putting to be informed that there would be a charge forusing and not washing the beach towels

Girls Fall Weekend Getaway!

Cora’s home accommodated our group of 7 ladies beautifully for a much needed weekend getaway! Sleeping accommodations were great! House was very clean and comfortable and we loved that the kitchen table was large enough for all of us to sit around to play games and cards. We also loved how you could walk to Lake Michigan, and downtown (even though we chose to drive-(we are all in our 60s and the knees aren’t as great as they used to be!). We had a wonderful time! The weather was amazing, the fall colors were brilliant, and the sunsets over Lake Michigan were spectacular! Cora was a wonderful and accommodating host! Would definitely return!

We had an enjoyable time at this property. This is our 4th time staying at Cora’s house and we will definitely be back. We love this house for the location, the quiet street, the space and the beach amenities provided. Beautiful home and great location

This home is absolutely beautiful! Very clean and well maintained. It had everything you’d need (except a blow dryer and bath soap). The decks (yes, 2 decks) were so nice to sit on in the evenings. There is a nicely finished basement. The lake is just a short walk from the house along with a very nice park for kids. I would definitely stay here again!!

Great family vacation home in South Haven

Beautiful, clean house, great location, well working appliances, good supply of towels, beach chairs, kitchen stuff. Cora is great and flexible host with fast response. Unique house with collection of more than 50 images of light houses inside of it - I would call it “Lighthouse” house.

Wonderful Stay

We had a great stay here with our family including grandparents and young kids. The location is great being super close to kids corner and south beach. The house was just as advertised. Great outdoor space and plenty of space inside. Great communication from owner when we needed something.

We live in Michigan and are retired. I spent a portion of my career working on Lake Michigan studying water quality and fish populations. I love the big lake! We both love the outdoors, bicycling and hiking, especially.

We really love all the natural light that comes into the house, the fenced yard and beautiful deck. The house is so close to Lake Michigan, the Kal-Haven trail and downtown. South Haven has so much to offer as a relaxing place to vacation.
