Perfect Fall Getaway w Amazing Views

Our family really enjoyed being off the river with such amazing views! The lodge was cozy with all the amenities you need. The fall colors were absolutely stunning all around…we’ll be back for sure!

Very cool stay

Cabin is very nice, with some beautiful views of the Au Sable river right out the windows! Plenty of parking, and the host was very nice and had great communication. Would definitely recommend, we will definitely be staying again in the future!

This property was amazing. We loved the views of the river, the neighborhood was quiet. The master bedroom had the best view to wake up to every morning. The host was amazing, very easy to communicate with and very punctual on responding.

This property is in a beautiful location right on the river. We visited with our kids. It was comfortable with enough space for us all. It was also very convenient to all location around Grayling.

Such a cool property and my only problem was I didn't get to enjoy more time at the house. The river, the setting, everything was perfect and I'll be very interested in staying agian with more time to fish and explore.

The property was great for our group and we loved looking at the old photo of the house and learning about the history of the building and the dam. The sound of the river, the picturesque views from the house, and the proximity to the water for swimming were just what we wanted.Somer was very responsive whenever we had questions.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this cabin! The view of the river was beautiful. We could enjoy the back patio and the fire pit. It was an incredibly peaceful getaway, The cabin was clean, had a cozy feel and perfectly equipped for a family trip. The location was close to town. A grocery store and dining was less than 10 minutes away. There was ample parking and a grill was available to use. Host contacted us the morning of ourarrival. Answered any questions and made sure the cabin was ready for us when we arrived with the AC units running to cool our rooms. We highly recommend it and would stay here again!

What a great place! The house was charming with neat touches throughout. The deck overlooking the river was super peaceful and relaxing. Somer was a great communicator and all was clean, organized, and ready for a fun and relaxing weekend spending time with our adult children and their spouses. Plenty of outdoor space to enjoy the peace and quiet and the sound of the river. We even caught some brook trout! Highly recommend.

The cabin has a beautiful view of the river. When I made the reservation, I asked if my avid fly fishermen could fish right in front of the cabin. Our host said absolutely. She did not mention that a flood made their dock temporarily unusable. Wading from the bank was marshy and muddy, but our fishermen had fun and caught (and released) several 6-7 inch trout. After the dock is repaired, fishermen should be able to cast to some very nice pools and eddies below the rapids. The cabin is sweet but has some unusual features. The back entrance to the house goes through the master bedroom, and the master bedroom does not have a door for privacy. The kitchen has an air fryer and blender and two coffee makers but is otherwise very sparsely appointed (like camping). We enjoyed the gas grill and fire pit and Al fresco dining beside the river. The bedrooms are simple and adequate. The cabin wasn’t super clean, and it was difficult to keep clean even though we removed our shoes. We couldn’t find a dustpan for the broom. I would highly recommend adding a cordless vacuum and Swiffer mop. In summary, this cabin is rustic (not fancy) on a beautiful piece of property next to the Au Sable. The kids enjoyed riding their bikes and playing outside. The cabin accommodated our multigenerational family nicely.
