Family built home, less than ten minutes walk from Long Sands beach. The first floor has a full bath, one bedroom with two XL twin beds, living room with ceiling fan and wood burning stove, fully equipped kitchen, dining room, and screened porch, where the full-sized washer and dryer are located. Upstairs is a half-bath and two bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with two queens, as well as a queen Aerobed stored in the closet, if needed. Outside the house, a swing is available in the front for relaxing with a view of the street, and the cozy back yard has a fire pit with plenty of seating, a covered patio area, and a hammock for kicking back after a "hard" day at the beach!

Comfortable York Get-Away

My sisters and I had a wonderful reunion here. The property was as advertised, with wonderful additional amenities such as a hammock, cart for carrying chairs and boogie boards (provided) to the beach. A pleasant 8-10 min walk to York Beach. Quiet neighborhood, comfortable beds! The house is clean, no mustiness (which can easily build up in humid conditions). The host is very responsive in communications, eager to help out.

This was a great house to stay at! There were so many amenities available wether it was going to the beach or relaxing at the house. We didn't get a chance to have a fire pit and play music, but we did enjoy a nice meal under the canopy at the table. We all loved the pineapple accents all over the house. Very comfortable beds!!! My dog LOVED being here, going to the beach and chasing the seagulls and coming back to crash on her bed that we brought. No one wanted to leave and all of us want to come for another stay some time in the near future. Thanks so much!!!
