We love hearing that; we think that makes our house unique. And you’re right about the size, the house is ideal for multigenerational renters with plenty of space for family to be together or enjoy time alone on the deck, large private yard, or in one of 2 living spaces. Thank you Cynthia. We agree, our home is perfect for multi-generational family vacations as it is located on the Nubble peninsula in a quiet family friendly neighborhood. The 6'x5' outdoor shower with rain head and hand help shower head is also one of favorite things about the house! ... it's perfectly nestled in a private spot in the large yard. Having all the baby gear available to our renters (port-a-crib, bed rails, high chair, baby plates/cups/utensils, etc...) makes travel lighter and vacation easier for those traveling with babies and small children. We love when people come from all over to experience Maine for the first time and I was happy to act as a tour guide or concierge!. It can be daunting planning a vacation, so I’m glad my “Things To Do Guide” was helpful. The beaches are lovely, but there’s so much more to do and explore. I was delighted to see you grabbed some lobster and attempted cracking and eating to get that quintessential Maine experience. Our kitchen comes fully stocked which includes all the lobster tools as well as “how to eat Lobster step-by-step” plates. It’s messy, but worth it! Best, Roseann

Wow. Thanks for the great review Steve. We’re glad you found the house so comfortable and our location on “The Nub” was so close to your venue! Our house is located in a quiet, private road which lends itself to a very relaxing vacation with plenty of room inside or outside on the deck or the large yard. We do our best to make sure our guests are comfortable while at our rental. I like to think that I’m a bit of a concierge for our guests! Hope to have you back again some day!!

Thanks for your fabulous review. I’m glad you mentioned the outdoor shower.! There is nothing like an outdoor shower after the beach or a hot summer day. Ours is very large and in private area of the large yard. So glad your grandson loved it too. The handheld shower head has an adjustable height making it easy to hose down the little ones :-) we host mostly families and having all the kid and baby gear makes it easy for those traveling with children, from potable crib, high chair, bed railing, etc.. We look forward to hosting you again!

Thank you for your great review! We feel our home is unique in that it doesn't feel like a tired crowded beach rental -- but more like a warm and inviting home we're you can relax. Newly renovated, it has comfortable new mattresses, pillows, linens, a fully stocked kitchen with new stove and Weber grill. But when you want some excitement you are close to all that York has to offer with great shops, restaurants, beaches, surfing, fishing, boating, and quick car rides to surrounding coastal towns that all have their own quaint feel. And York is a little over an hour from Boston and close to PEASE airport in Manchester, NH. Thanks for booking summer 2018!

Thank you Susan, we love our location as well, we love spending time on the beach but love going back to our home on the Nubble peninsula and it's large private yard and relaxing outdoor spaces. Many of our renters are like you, families reunited to spend quality time together. The house has ample indoor, and you mention, outdoor spaces to do that! We hope you'll visit again soon at any time of the year :-)

Thank you for the 5 star review!! We also love the short walk to the Nubble Lighthouse and even closer walk to Dunne’s Ice Cream stand. Our street even has its own neighborhood access which make nightly ice cream runs too easy! And yes, we have excellent WiFi! Which you don’t get all over York, so thanks for pointing that out. Hello David, Thank you so much for the thoughtful review. You really hit all the key features of the house. It is perfect for multigenerational families where you can come together or spread out. We also have a large yard to enjoy as well. And yes, kids love their sleepovers in the bunk room complete with Shark decor! We’re glad you enjoyed the decks, and star gazing from the upper one; on a clear night it’s fabulous just looking up while listening to the surf hit the rocks. We’re less than a mile to either long or short sands - some do walk, or get up early to find a spot. There are many lots where spots are available as well on long sands (that’s our preferred beach) as well. We’re so happy the house fit your family’s needs and hope to see you back soon! Roseann
