The location worked great for everything we needed to do. The location was clean and overall a great place to stay. I would definitely consider this location for any future stays in the area.
We had a great time in San Diego. This VRBO had all that we needed, was in a safe neighborhood and was only 7 mins away from the convention center and the gas lamp district .
Daniel’s space was the perfect spot forour short weekend getaway. The space was very welcoming and adorned with great art work. Daniel also made sure to check in with us to guarantee that our stay went well. We are saving this spot for our future stays in San Diego and sharing it with our loved ones for theirs.
Hosts have great communication and fast response time when the door code stopped working. However the ceilings are really low and shower fluctuates from really hot to really cold without moving the knob.
This was perfect for our weekend getaway. Neighborhood was quiet. Parking was not an issue. And hosts were kind, frequently checking in to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. 10/10.
"Great location! Cozy, compact place with everything you need. Clean, though the shower had only a short burst of hot water before turning mostly cold. Because it was hot, we slept with the windows open and the fan on, which brought in extra noise from airplanes and the nearby highway. Still, it was perfect for our weekend getaway—and for bringing our dog."

Thank you for your feedback - we will get the shower taken care off asap (it was not an issue before - wish you told us when you were here). Also, it was just the hot summers for the time you stayed, but thanks for letting us know so we can make improvements. Take care

Liked: Communication, location
Disliked: Check-in, listing accuracy
Shower was broken. Heard the water fall from the shower head all night because it was leaking out. Shower water was cold never got hot. Very humid in there due to no ac. The door handle is messed up so it seemed a little unsafe because bed was right next to the door.

Hi Rubie, thank you for your feedback. So sorry to hear your experience. As noted, that shower leak literally happened from the guest before you as we notified you prior to your arrival. It has been fixed the next day as we were able to get a plumber. The door hinge is fixed as well and we have added 2 strong fans for the air circulation. Hope to see you again, and make it up to you :)
This is a cute little space that has made best use of what they have. I was only there one night. Great fridge and freezer. Hot water. Great shower. Comfortable bed. You might want to avoid it if you are over 6 ft. The ceilings are pretty low. I'm 5'9 and had no trouble at all and I was extremely comfortable. Communication was fantastic. Helen and Daniel were great and kept in touch with me throughout the process. It's about 10-minute. Walk to a few shops and coffee and there's a ton of things within a 20 to 30 minute walk. Great Park nearby too. Didn't need it but there was a nice microwave. I wouldn't really want to cook there simply because it's a tiny space and it would be hard to clean up. It would be nice to have a drying rack even just for glasses. Otherwise outstanding and I would stay there again if I were in town for a short bit. Super cute neighborhood. I didn't use the outside space, but the table out there needed a quick cleaning. Internet was great.
