About Donna Conlon

My husband and I are both transplants from New England. We moved south in 2011 to escape the cold winters and fell in love with the charm, history and relaxed pace of Beaufort.

Donna Conlon purchased this cottage in 2012

Why Donna Conlon chose Beaufort

It's a great location and provides a comfortable private place for friends and family to stay while visiting.

What makes this cottage unique

Located in a safe residential area, on a quiet street, surrounded by lovely mossy oaks and azaleas, you have all the privacy you could want. If you should ever need anything, my husband and I are a phone call away and are happy to make a dinner reservation for you or lend you some chairs for your trip to the beach.

Lovely setting, comfortable, peaceful and private.

  • 5 of 5

Thoroughly enjoyed my Beaufort stay in the Guest House; it is perfect for a single or couple. Located on a quiet, neighborhood street yet convenient to nearly everything in Beaufort and the surrounding area. Prepared several meals in the small but efficient kitchen and found all the necessary utensils, pots and pans at hand plus, a full-size refrigerator! I appreciated the walk-in closet with plenty of hangers and the large chest of drawers in the bedroom. Really enjoyed utilizing the included Park Passport to check out Hunting Island - a great bonus!

Had a wonderful time in Beaufort and the peace and utility of the Guest House contributed greatly. I will absolutely try to stay there if I visit Beaufort again.

Went for son's Marine graduation, only 10 min from Parris Island! Place was very clean and cozy. They added alot of little things you may forget. They let you use a state park pass which has a beautiful beach! Donna was very nice.

Comfortable & Peaceful!

  • 5 of 5

This property was perfect for my daughters and me. The apt was clean, comfortable and stocked to accomodate cooking as we prefer to eat in. A quick drive and we were in historic downtown Beaufort or Hunting State Beach. Loads of fun things close by to do whether you are an outdoor adventurer or a history lover!

Beaufort is a wonderful town, rich with history and full of friendly people. Located between Charleston and Savannah, Beaufort has a lot of the culture and excitement of a bigger city, but with a wonderful small town feel. Walk along the beautiful waterfront, enjoy dinner outside overlooking the water at one of the many great restaurants downtown has to offer, stroll along Bay Street and check out the many shops and antiques stores, or enjoy a guided carriage ride tour of the historic district. For a beach day, head to Hunting Island and enjoy the beautiful 5,000 acres of wilderness. Beaufort is home to many festivals and there is always something new to see and do!
