About Donna Conlon
My husband and I are both transplants from New England. We moved south in 2011 to escape the cold winters and fell in love with the charm, history and relaxed pace of Beaufort.
Donna Conlon purchased this Cottage in 2012
Why Donna Conlon chose Mossy Oaks
It's a great location and provides a comfortable private place for friends and family to stay while visiting.
What makes this Cottage unique
Located in a safe residential area, on a quiet street, surrounded by lovely mossy oaks and azaleas, you have all the privacy you could want. If you should ever need anything, my husband and I are a phone call away and are happy to make a dinner reservation for you or lend you some chairs for your trip to the beach.

Donna’s guesthouse was perfect for our weekend in Beaufort. It had everything we needed, including a pass for Hunting Island State Park, as well as a pack ‘n’ play and high chair for our toddler. Donna was very kind, we enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely keep her guesthouse in mind when visiting Beaufort in the future!
This place is perfect for marine families to stay for graduation!! Super clean and cute!!!
Very clean and private, host was very responsive to our questions.
Clean, centrally located, private, the kitchen was very helpful to keep beverages and snacks cold
A little piece of paradise
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and just right for two people. We were given passes to go to Hunting Island State Park which was beautiful. All the palm trees and the whole atmosphere was so relaxing. There were others on the beach but it wasn’t crowded. A lot of people had their dogs with them which was entertaining. We would definitely make this trip again!
Quit, peaceful, clean, Great place to stay and see my daughter graduate as company Honor Grad. Go Ashley! Love, Dad❤
My family and I were searching for a quiet, convenient place to stay for a few days and we found it. It was just enough off the beaten path but close enough to the water, white sand and local restaurants. Even before the first night ended we talked about finding another time to visit again and rent the same space. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Beaufort is a wonderful town, rich with history and full of friendly people. Located between Charleston and Savannah, Beaufort has a lot of the culture and excitement of a bigger city, but with a wonderful small town feel. Walk along the beautiful waterfront, enjoy dinner outside overlooking the water at one of the many great restaurants downtown has to offer, stroll along Bay Street and check out the many shops and antiques stores, or enjoy a guided carriage ride tour of the historic district. For a beach day, head to Hunting Island and enjoy the beautiful 5,000 acres of wilderness. Beaufort is home to many festivals and there is always something new to see and do!
