Hosts were very welcoming and had great recommendations for the area. The home is PERFECT! Heated pool and hot tub were great for our chilly stay. We loved this house. From the moment we walked through the door we were greeted by the welcoming atmosphere and attention to detail for the Gatsby theme. Great location in a very quiet neighborhood yet so close to many restaurants and shopping. We loved being able to explore with ease. House was spotless and truly couldn't of asked for anything more.

Classy and Clean with a little poolside Oasis

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was so clean and cute with all the little touches added to the Speakeasy theme. The pool area was so peaceful and private. Also, there is a fun surprise to navigate through when you arrive.. happy searching. We would definitely stay again! Finally, Heather and Jason were great hosts, so responsive and accommodating!

What a pleasant surprise. We had no appreciation of how nice a place this is. Came in for Spring training baseball games but regretted not allowing more time at the Hideaway. The pool was good, the hot tub was good, the game room was good. Let me correct that, they were great! The decor is just precious, amenities in the bathrooms were a treat, and the whole house was super clean. Hoping to get back for another visit. Thanks for sharing it with us!

1st time in old town.

Loved my first time in Arizona. Location to old town was recommended by a friend and didnt disappoint. House has something for every age from a pool for kids to poker table for adults. Surprisingly teenager's were never bored! Definitely would book again next year.

Great location, vibe, and experience

We very much enjoyed staying at the Velvet Hideaway.The decor and layout was fun and playful with a hidden room, speakeasy gameroom, and a great backyard (I got Gatsby vibes). The location was great for anyone looking to catch spring training games, going out in downtown Old Town, or looking to golf. The owners communicated very quickly and were prescriptive with check in, and check out which were both equally seamless. They also provided an online welcome guide which allowed me to share with the other guests which I appreciated.No notes, and I'd definitely come back!

Awesome clean rental in great location. The pool was large enough for all of us. Bonus there was a hot tub as well which was great for early morning and late night when not in the pool. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The house/4 bedrooms and 2 bathroom layout was great for our family. With two bathrooms that could be accessed from the hallway or the bedrooms that were attached to them. Loved all the windows for light during the day and blackout curtains for sleeping. Host was great and very responsive with any questions we had. Check in and out was super easy. Host had all information to me before we arrived in Scottsdale. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and will be back.

Surpassed expections! We booked last minute and this had no negative impact on our stay whatsoever. Communication with our host was excellent and effective from start to finish. The check-in process was hassle-free. The home was a show stopper aesthetically! Every room was appreciated for its design and individuality as one room built on the other. You cannot go wrong with any of them. Loved the hot tub. We also used the pool a generous amount of times. Moreso, Heather and Jason made us feel welcomed and it also showed throughout the home with attention to details which made our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. It was the little things that separates them from others. Things like the available toiletries, phone holder and chargers, speakers, adequate lighting and large spaces in the home to name a few.... And not to mention, a great location, and tons of food and entertainment options nearby.

This was by far and above the best VRBO experience. From the littlest details to the extraordinary, every aspect was on point. The owners even left us a little gift and thank you card to welcome our stay. Attention to detail was on point. They had every little thing covered from cold water in the fridge to toiletries in the bathrooms. Not to mention the well appointed home in every aspect. The pool and hot tub were amazing with games in the yard, the garage is full of activities. The home ambiance reminds you of an old Las Vegas or Palm Springs martini lounge. It’s super luxurious in every aspect. And there are a few surprises waiting for you to discover! But their hospitality was paramount. The owners were in communication at every step and freely available. Their welcome couldn’t be more valuable. We absolutely loved our stay at this home and will definitely be back to enjoy this incredible space. A must see…seriously!!!From-Ryan W.
