The Lookout by Sojourn Lodging is a romantic tiny home retreat offering stunning mountain views just minutes from Pigeon Forge and Dollywood. Designed for couples seeking both relaxation and adventure, this unique glamping experience combines scenic mountain views, outdoor adventure, and the comfort of a thoughtfully designed tiny home.

Inside, you’ll find a lofted queen bed, a fully equipped kitchenette with complimentary snacks and coffee upon arrival, and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower including towels, soap, shampoo, and essentials. Step outside to your private outdoor patio with seating facing the mountain views — a perfect place to relax after exploring the Smoky Mountains. Each unit also features its own private fire pit with a built-in grill grate, ideal for cozy evenings under the stars.

Sojourn is more than just a stay — it's a unique glamping-style resort that combines comfort with on-site activities and unique experiences. Guests can enjoy access to a natural cave system located on the property, a pickleball court, and a scenic Smoky Mountain observation deck — all just 10 minutes from Pigeon Forge and Dollywood. Pets are welcome too, so your furry companion can join the adventure.

The negatives were few but, a couple were that the TV you could only watch the TV by streaming and we didn't know how to stream.There also does not seem to be an office on site. The checkout procedure was just a text/email that it was time to check out and that was it. Everything else was nice.

Overall Good Experience

The location is very nice, close enough to everything in Pigeon Forge but far enough you aren't in the mess. The tiny homes were adorable and they take good care of the outside of the homes. They are very small which should be expected considering they are tiny homes. My teenage brother and sister were going to come and I am glad they didn't because there simply wouldn't have been near enough room for 4 adult sized people. The way to the bed was narrow as well so if you are a little heavy set, it may be uncomfortable for you. The main con for us was dog hair and a dead flea on the bed when we got there. There was dog hair on the oven, too. The office was closed when we arrived so we waited until the next day to get new sheets. We did not arrive back until almost 12:00 that night and my fiance said at that point, it was what it was and he didn't remake the bed. My dog had never had fleas until we stayed here so pretty sure the dead flea was not the only one in the home but we could have picked them up from somewhere we stopped, there is no way of knowing for sure. I never did see live fleas in the home but after we got home, I found 3 on my dog. She is and has been on flea prevention for a year now. I would probbaly stay here again, I would just check in earlier to make sure it is cleaned well enough and I wouldn't bring our dog there again. Lois was very nice and helpful.

While our tiny homes are thoroughly cleaned and treated as part of our pest-control program, being right beside the Great Smoky Mountains National Park means that, on rare occasions, insects and other traces of nature can make their way inside. That said, your comments helped us reinforce our housekeeping and inspection procedures to ensure a higher level of consistency moving forward. We truly appreciate your honesty and are glad to hear you’d consider staying with us again.

The stairs are horrible I feel down them the first day and bruises every were,put up a railing so people have something to grab,the box that you have to climb on onto the floor is the worst,I couldn't reach the microwave or see in the bathroom mirror,were not all 5'8". You don't have a good view unless you want to stare at trees and a giant chess board.I will never stay in a similar place again.very boaring.I don't think a 78yr old woman wants to crawl around on her knees to go to bed every night.sorry not happy.
