Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
✔ Laundry: Check the washer/dryer for any clothes ✔ Appliances: Unplug all used appliances found unplugged before using ✔ Towels: Place used towels in the bathroom.
✔ Trash: Collect all trash, bag it, and drop off at the Walnut Mountain dumpster facility located right inside of Gate 2. Please do not leave any garbage at the cabin.
✔ Furniture: Return furniture to its original position. ✔ Security: Close and lock all doors and windows, and lock the front door when you leave. ✔ Remotes: Place all remotes back in the living room.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Mountain Get Away

We loved this place. My Mom said it was the best VRBO we've rented. The game room was a plus for my 14 year old nephew. The huge covered porch where we ate breakfast at was wonderful. We saw lots of deer and enjoyed the hot tub every night.

From the clean warm hot tub to the open space we absolutely love this home! The view is so beautiful! I will say make sure your vehicle can make it up steep steep steep hills I have a 07 accord and was surprised it made it but once you’re up there it’s so beautiful. There’s a little town that looks just from the hallmark movies and the food there is delicious! There’s also apple orchards with the best cider! Definitely planning on coming back!

Family time

The cabin was beautiful, very clean and cozy. We loved making smores at the firepit and having dinner on the covered back porch with the beautiful Mountain View. The hot tub was a favorite for our family. We really enjoyed our stay.

The host was responsive but overall the cabin wasn’t as nice as I was expecting considering the cost. The carpet was crunchy sounding and the kitchen wasn’t very organized. The bed upstairs was comfortable and the fireplace worked well. There was no welcome book with house instructions like it said there would be. There were also no instructions for the hot tub and the water was lukewarm and we couldn’t figure out how to get it hotter. Turns out the people before us must have put it into a sleep mode and a handyman had to come figure out how to get it working again. So we didn’t have the hot tub for 2 of the 4 days which wasn’t optimal. I appreciate the just sending out the handyman and being responsive.
