Flote su camino a casa y disfrute de nuestra NUEVA cubierta de 100 pies con vista al río San Marcos. A minutos del centro de la ciudad de San Marcos y enclavado en el corazón del río San Marcos. Perfecto para familias o viajes para alejarse de la ciudad.

La casa tiene muebles nuevos, sábanas y toallas nuevas y muchas otras mejoras en toda la casa.

Damos la bienvenida a grupos de todos los tamaños, así como a familias y niños pequeños. Tenemos un paquete y un colchón para niños pequeños para su uso. Hay 2 kayaks en el garaje para uso de los huéspedes también. Además de las 4 habitaciones, hay un altillo (cama completa) y un sofá cama (queen), además de un segundo sofá de tamaño para espacio adicional para dormir.

¡El acceso al río está a solo unos pasos del porche trasero! También puede dar un corto paseo por el camino a Texas State Tubes o Don's Fish Camp. Te llevarán río arriba y podrás flotar de regreso a la casa. También está cerca: Three Dudes Winery, San Marcos Square, Wimberley, TX, festivales y música en vivo.

Great location on the river! The house was well stocked and had lots of amenities. We spent our time out back on the large deck overlooking the river.

Great outdoor gathering spot

This property is great for gatherings. We had family and friends over after our daughter received her ring at Texas State. The location was perfect for that. The large trees provided great shade and the kids enjoyed playing in the river with the tubes provided at the house. If you like hanging outdoors the deck is impressive and spans the entire back of the house with plenty of space for everyone!

Perfect Spot on the River

Such a perfect section of the river! Awesome outdoor deck. House is very nicely updated. Had high chairs and pack’n’plays which made it very convenient and nice not to have to bring our own.

It was ok. Not as clean as expected. Needed repairs. Games were old not playable. Back patio wood. Some nails out wood root etc.

Great river front house, no accessories needed

We had five couples enjoying this spacious home for Labor Day weekend. The house was perfect. The location could not have been better. Just a short walk to Texas State Tubes to grab the shuttle to float. When done, you can hop off at the house. There was lifesize connect four, bag toss, floats, kayaks, a grill, Keurig, pump to air up items; we really didn't need to bring much. The deck is amazing and we very much enjoyed watching everyone coming in from the river. The beds were all very comfortable. The house stayed cool. We all went on and on about how perfect it really was. We can't wait to come back!!

Beautiful Spot on the River

We enjoyed our visit to this great home on the river in Martindale. Hosts were communicative and the home was updated, comfortable and well stocked. Really pretty spot on the river - good fishing - we caught several nice bass. Our dog loved the yard and wading in the river. The deck is huge and nice. Would definitely come back.

Perfect Family Weekend

Everything was absolutely wonderful! Even before our arrival, our wonderful host was quick to respond to all of our questions. Once we arrived, easy check in. The place was clean and very roomy for our family 10 adults and 4 children. The kitchen had everything we could need. Location was perfect!! Absolutely loved just walking down the back yard and jumping in the river for some relaxation with the family. Can't wait to return!

Fantastic location

Great house and it’s the perfect spot on the water. Young kids stay entertained too with the fun activity area in the backyard. Owners were great during the entire booking process.

A True Gem

The house and location are amazing. There’s plenty of rooms for sleep, but what makes this home special is the deck and ease of access to the river. The patio is spacious and beautiful with the lights and trees and our twins especially loved the outdoor games. My family made memories to last a life time and we are looking forward to booking again! It’s worth every dollar!

Texas State Homecoming & Alumni Reunion

Absolutely incredible property! Great place to lounge around and catch up with long time SWT friends and that is exactly what we did. Everyone was complimentary of the amenities, especially the deck and the wonderful view of the river. Close enough to San Marcos for quick access, but far enough to escape the noise and crowds. We are definitely planninng to re-book for 2020! Michael

Pre-4th family get-away

Our family had a wonderful stay. The house had "everything" you could possibly need for this type of trip. It is the perfect location on the river, 1 minute walk to the tube rental, tube and kayaks in garage. The firepit area was great for sitting and visiting. It has outside games, indoor games, literally everything you need. Plenty of room for 12 adults. The only thing you should plan for are flys - once we figured out how to corral them - we were good. We would definitely stay again. Hayleigh was quick to respond to any questions we had. Also, PLENTY of parking in the driveway.

Haleigh was born and raised in Texas, after spending nearly 10 years away between Washington DC and Tampa, she and Collin are so excited to be back "home." Collin is Pennsylvania native and loves all things Pittsburgh sports! The Almquist Family purchased their San Marcos home in 2017 and look forward to sharing their vacation home with families from across the country. Haleigh and Collin met in Austin and have always thought of Central Texas as a special place. The moment they laid eyes on the river, they knew this was the vacation home of their dreams.

Haleigh and Collin have now have founded and manage several business around the country and have a knack for customer service. Your family will enjoy the time away and the beauty of the San Marcos River while staying at San Marcos River Rentals.

Haleigh and Collin are proud parents to Axel, 9, Adelynn 3 and Avie under 1. They are no strangers to traveling with children and hope the child friend home will be enjoyed by all.
