The river access is the best! Great spot on the river, walk right in, swim or lounge in the water. There is an access gate to the left side of the property that allows you to drive vehicles to the river edge. The house is nice, always clean, spacious, comfortably sleeps 7, more if you have couples in the 2 private rooms that have King beds. One of the private rooms, the big one off of the living room, has poor air conditioning, one vent for the whole big room. It can get fairly warm in there, the rest of the house is nice and cool. The couches in the living room need to be replaced, they are old and sit really low and a bigger TV would be optimal. Nice kitchen area. The place is great though overall, with the river access being A. We have rented this house 3x and will continue to rent each summer.

We loved our stay here. It was perfect for kids with a bunk bed room and play area including a doll house our girls loved. The river was shaded with shallow and deep areas. House had plenty of space and everything we needed.

Great retreat in Martindale

This property is well situated on the river with great access and basically the whole river to yourself. Huge cypress trees shade most of the river and immediate shores. A beautiful setting. The house is great for family and friends. We enjoyed our stay and will return next year.
