Este espacioso loft de 'artistas' de 2 dormitorios y 2 baños completos está en el centro del distrito Ballpark; una vibrante área de reurbanización dentro del vecindario East Village del centro de San Diego.

El loft está bellamente decorado con obras de arte originales recopiladas de nuestros viajes por el mundo y complementadas con muebles contemporáneos de mediados de siglo. Las ventanas de piso a techo de 14 pies se suman al ambiente abierto y ofrecen una vista perfecta de la puesta de sol sobre el horizonte del centro. Comfortable spacious, nicely decorated East Village condo

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely space. It is located within walking distance of many of the places on our to do list. We enjoy walking the harbor, finding good coffee shops, Rooftop views & visiting Little Italy, plus Petco Park & much more. It's a plus to have a secure parking space.

East Village for 6 Weeks

Ideal location for exploring all that SD offers. The condo is located near bus and trolley stops, grocers and pharmacies, coffee shops, restaurants, and entertainment. There is an excellent deli immediately downstairs. Balboa Park, Gaslamp Quarter, convention center, and Petco Park are walking distance.The condo was well equipped, spacious, and comfortable. The host was professional and prompt in addressing questions, provided thorough instructions and many suggestions for area dining. Photos accurately depict the property. The furniture was comfortable, the TV and Wi-Fi reliable.I highly recommend this property. Bear in mind that it is located in an urban setting, with typical street noise below. The unit is on the 6th floor, and elevators are fast and reliable. There is a west-facing balcony ideal for enjoying city-scape sunsets. I would (and hope) to return to this condo for a future visit.

Marvelous time!

Five beautiful weeks in San Diego in February...what could make those weeks even more perfect? ...a lovely place to stay! Evan's condo was in the heart of San Diego, just a few blocks from the Gaslamp District (far enough away to be out of the noise; close enough to stroll over any time), one block from Petco Park and a nice walk to the bay area. The condo was beautiful, Evan was receptive to any questions I had, the private parking was very convenient, and the balcony was especially fun to use. Great food everywhere. My husband and I had a blast, as did my friends when he had to go back to Colorado. Thanks, Evan, for a great stay.

Our month in the condo was a wonderful experience. The unit was well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. Evan was quick to respond to any questions and was very helpful and accommodating. The location was incredible. We literally had a window to the world through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Fun to watch the vibrant city life from the balcony.

Beautiful Condo, great view, central location and transportation access

Beautiful clean modern condo. Very nice building and occupants. Secure garage parking huge bonus! I spent time working at dining table and gazing at the city skyline. Wonderful sunsets reflecting off the other high rises. Close to everything, Petco, Convention Center, Grocery, etc. Evan made everything easy checking IN/OUT. Very responsive to any needs, which there were none. Very well stocked and maintained. Thanks Evan and family for a great stay while I looked for my next home in San Diego!

Property Needs More Lighting

This unit was well located east of the Gaslamp Quarter and convenient to light rail for getting around the city. It was well-equipped and furnished. It had secured underground parking, and the property owner was easy to deal with. Our only gripe was the poor lighting throughout the apartment, particularly once the sun set.

When looking for a property on VRBO, we review carefully comments on the owner and the property. So, we knew this was a highly recommended property. But Evan Knudson’s condo unit exceeded our expectations in every way. From our initial inquiry about renting the property to addressing small issues during our stay and returning our security deposit promptly, everything was handled immediately and in a very professional manner. This fine downtown San Diego condo is close to Petco Field, Seaport Village, the Gas Lamp District, grocery shopping, and Balboa Park. You couldn’t choose a better location. Many of the major attractions are within walking distance or a short drive. The pictures on VRBO aptly represent the property. The parking that comes with this unit is a major plus! This is downtown living at its finest. However, one should be aware that, like other major cities on the west coast, San Diego is experiencing a homeless problem. We found this to be very thought-provoking and the topic of many good discussions, as we thought about the contrasts between wealth and poverty in modern America. At no point did we feel intimidated by the homeless on the streets of San Diego. We look forward to staying here again!

Doing San Diego in Style

My wife and I wanted to spend February in San Diego and did we ever have a great time. The loft was our base and we enjoyed every minute it. We never ate in the same restaurant twice and still did not come close to covering all the available choices- We were able to walk to almost all of them. The loft is stylish, in excellent condition, comfortable, well located and has everything you need if you decide to stay home. Thanks Evan for a memorable stay.

Excellent choice for downtown San Diego-East Village

We stayed in Evan's condo for a month and we recommend it very much. Evan was extremely welcoming, professional, helpful and courteous. The condo was immaculate, very comfortable and nicely furnished. We enjoyed discovering many restaurants in East Village and in other neighborhoods and we appreciated the proximity to the library, the Gaslamp District, Petco Park (very nice for pet owners), the Marina and all that downtown San Diego has to offer. We especially appreciated the ability to walk everywhere and not having to use our car to enjoy our downtown stay. The location is ideal, as well, for easy vehicle access to Balboa Park, the Zoo, Coronado bridge and the freeways. When "at home" we enjoyed the big windows and open city views.

Evan is a great Host!

We stayed in his apartment For a month with no problem. when we got there tha apartment was clean and tidy as a hotel room. bedrooms and bathroom are nicely done and decorated as well as the living room. the location of the apartment is really nice with big windows showing the streets and the petco park stadium. the fridge stopped working and i contacted evan, he bought and new one and got it delivered the next day! just thought that's worth mentioning.

Another Great Trip

An Amazing Experience

I stayed there and Evan was great to work with. He will always showing out of his way to make my experience better. The location was amazing, so close to many great restaurants and bars. The condo was comfortable but also homey and a perfect fit anyone from an elderly couple to a friends getaway. I recommend it for anyone and everyone.

Amazing experience

Our stay at this condo was absolutely wonderful! The place is really beautiful, modern, and extremely well furnished. It has everything you could need or want including all kitchenware, extra bedding and blankets, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, etc. It is very close to the convention center, Gaslamp district, and just a short cab ride to the zoo. The owner was so amenable and was easily reachable during our stay in case of any issues or questions (of which we had none). He also sent us numerous restaurant recommendations; we ended up going to many on his list and they were all excellent! It really exceeded all my expectations and I would definitely stay here again.

Paradise Found !

OMG ! This condo has it all: Great location, parking, comfortable, roomy, clean, a great view from the balcony and the owners were extremely helpful with restuarant favorites and directions. We are from Texas so we thoroughly enjoyed the very cool Summer temperatures in the mid 70's unlike those of a 100 degrees or greater back home. There is so much to do in the surrounding areas and we really enjoyed the numerous beaches that are within a 10 to 30 minutes driving distance. We also took in the Padres/Yankees game and it was just a two block walk to Petco Park. It was alot of fun to see that game. We'd definitely visit here again and hope to stay at this condo again as it was like home away from home. Evan, thank you so much for all your restaurant suggestions and directions on getting around.

Wonderful Stay

Our stay was so enjoyable. The condo was wonderfully modern and immaculate. It was fully furnished for entertainment in a quiet location, just blocks from the heart of the Gaslamp District. Restaurants, shops, Convention Center, Petco Park and more are within easy walking distance. Parking for a car was very convenient. I would highly recommend this condo.

What a fabulous condo!

My family stayed here first week of July and found it to be clean and comfortable. Everything was as described in the listing and the owner was quick to respond to our questions. It was wonderful to be within walking distance of so many attractions and eateries. I grew up in the northern suburbs of San Diego, so it was a real treat to not have to get in the car much! We would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic

In our 11 weeks in the US, this was the best apartment that we stayed at. The manager was really helpful and the apartment was the best location, clean and had lots of extras included....a washing machine and dryer with soap powder and lots of bits and pieces in the kitchen....well done guys! it was only a short walk to the historic and vibrant gaslamp area.

Perfect spot

My son and I stayed here for a biking/surfing vacation. It is a great downtown location with restaurants an easy walk away. Underground parking spot very helpful. We caught a Padres game (2 blocks away), hit the Marriott pool (nice), surfed at Pacific Beach most days (easy 20 minute drive), and caught a couple movies (5 blocks away). We really liked the simple, modern decor in the apartment, enjoyed the views, and my son dug the 3 flat screen TV's. Owners are very responsive and helpful. Not a single complaint.

Great Location!

This loft was a wonderful place for a family of four to base their San Diego vacation. It's close to Petco park and the gaslamp. Evan was great to work with and assisted us through the entire process. I would highly recommend this wonderful loft to any family looking for a location in downtown San Diego. The property was very clean, very well maintained and the photos of the condo (loft) are very accurate. Will stay here again on our next trip to SD!

Amazing stay in San Diego

We had a wonderful time staying downtown San Diego from April 27th until May 5th. The listing and the photos are 100% accurate, on top of that I would add that the condo was very clean, the beds are very comfortable, the kitchen contains everything you can need in terms of accessories and appliances, it is well decorated, the parking lot was easily accessible and well protected, there is lots of storage for the luggages, and the view from the living room and the balcony is super! We enjoyed going to the beach at Coronado ( 10 min drive or ferry available from downtown), walking in the gaslamp and old town district, visiting the zoo, visiting wineyard and going to see the Padres play. There is a lot do and see an the condo is well located, where the highways are easily accessible. Evan, the owner, was very available to answer any questions before our arrival as well as throughout our stay. The deposit refund also came very quickly after the stay. We would go back at any time!

Love San Diego

We originally booked the Palomar Hotel for 5 nights – then found this condo in Gas Lamp district. We decided to stay at the condo instead for 6 nights - glad we did. The week went by fast - can’t wait to return to San Diego. Evan was a wonderful host - easily accessible & communicative and promptly returned the security deposit. The condo is nice and well equipped. There’s a bagel cafe cross the street, Starbuck and grocery store a block away. The location is close to Petco Park and walking distance to all the restaurants & bars along Gas Lamp. 5 minute drive to Balboa park and 15 min to Pacific beach. Only negative was the construction noise across the street in the morning - I guess that's a good sign for condo demand near Gas Lamp. I would recommend it! Thanks again Evan!

Thanks Kay. The construction noise can be an unfortunate side affect of being in the heart of downtown; however the worst of it is almost over (trucks hauling dirt out of the ground for the underground parking lot). The new 6-story luxury apartments are set to be completed this winter and the resulting structure should be a great addition to the neighborhood. The best part about it; the relatively low height of the new building will preserve the west views from our condo for future travelers to enjoy!
