Terrific lake house and location!

Great and rare find on Lake Winnipesaukee. Very clean, well organized, and well stocked home. Extremely comfortable for guests. Beautiful sandy beach and nice view of the lake. We’ve stayed here twice and would do so again!

This was our second summer renting this amazing little lake house .. & it was wonderful!! Could not ask for a better vacation location .. the perfect spot to make more memories! One of our favorite things are the floatie recliners provided by the owners … we spent hours & hours floating .. we even watched the sunset from them one night! Already looking forward to our vacation next summer!

Beautiful property and lakeside community.Wonderful beach for small children( and adults!!) awesome sunsets and views.Cottage very clean, well stocked and comfortable. Owners generous and thoughtful. We have been coming to this community with our family for over 30 years and have stayed in this cottage for many years. Now we are sharing this beautiful place with our grandchildren.

Beautiful Place on the Lake

This is our 2nd time staying here, and we plan on returning. Everything was as described, and you cannot beat the view. The beach was perfect for our two young kids.

Perfect Lakefront Location near 19 Mile Bay

Great lakefront location with sandy beach and sandy bottom with gradual slope. Property as advertised; very comfortable and well equipped. Really enjoyed our week on the lake.

Lovely home- nice sandy beach

Home was well equipped and very clean. Owners were very kind and easy to deal with. Sandy beach area good for children although our grandchildren could not make it. Close proximity to downtown Wolfeboro!

We are sorry your grandchildren could not join you at our cottage. You are the cleanest renters we ever had but if you come again you will not be allowed to clean because it is your vacation from that as well. Our neighbors also enjoyed speaking with you and are always amazed at the excellent renters we find through VRBO.

It’s a beautiful spot. Breathtaking sunsets and sparkling water on a lovely beach. Wonderful hosts, thoughtful and accommodating. Cottage has everything you need. We’ve been coming to this location for over 30 years and it is our favorite family vacation. Feels like home.

Summer Family Vacation

We really enjoyed staying here. The sandy beach, swim dock, and fire pit were greatly enjoyed. The boat slip was fantastic and were able to use our boat every day. Beautiful view down the lake and sunsets were incredible. The camp is very spacious, clean and well stocked. Thank you vey much for sharing your beautiful camp with us. The Abbotts

Wonderful week on Lake Winnipesaukee

Our family, 2 adults and 2 boys (11 and 9), had a wonderful week long stay. The home was nicely furnished and had everything we could ask for in a lake home. The kitchen was well stocked with sharp knives, many pans, and a crock pot. The owners were very communicative and answered all the questions we had before and during our stay. We would definitely go back again.

Loved Our Winnipesaukee Vacation

We were so impressed by how well-stocked this lakefront home is! It was very clean, and we were welcomed by a card and gourmet treats in the fridge. We loved the cheerful decor and super comfortable LR and beds. Most of all we loved the sandy beach for castle building and swimming. The hosts were exceptional in answering Qs and providing clear information. Our week away was a huge blessing for our family. We would happily stay again, waking to the call of loons. We even got to see a mink! The nearby Camp Belknap is lively--It was fun hearing their activity and seeing the boats go by. Neighbors were also friendly as they launched their canoe to pick wild blueberries from a nearby island.

Lakeside family vacation .. could not have asked for a better week at sandy bottom beach cottage!

I stayed at the sandy bottom beach lakefront cottage on Lake Winni this past week & enjoyed every minute of it! My 80+ year old parents were visiting from Florida & felt very comfortable with the one floor late out. They had plenty of room in the master suite & attached bathroom. The other 2 bedrooms were perfect to accommodate myself & any other guests that stayed for a day of so throughout the week. The cottage was very clean, open, cozy & homey. Any & everything you could possibly need is stocked in the kitchen-paper goods, plastic wraps & baggies, spices, baking supplies, etc. There was a cute little gift & note from Joe & Sandra that made us feel very welcome! They both made themselves available as needed & were quick to respond ... especially when I locked myself out & could not remember the code! We spent so much time down at the beach, wading into the water, floating on tubes that were provided to us on the day we arrived already blown up & ready to go. We went paddle boarding & kayaking every day. Met very nice neighbors who offered to let us borrow a kayak while they were away that week. We grilled out every night, sat on the picnic table outside or in the nice sunporch, where we spent a great deal of time reconnecting, having great conversations, playing games ... so much laughter & many new memories were made! By far the sunsets were some of the most spectacular sunsets I've ever seen ..absolutely stunning! I am without a doubt, renting this cottage again! 5 stars

Relaxing vacation

Our family enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The beach was wonderful for our 2 grandchildren with toys available for playing inside and outside. The fishing for our grandson from the dock was great. Thank you for sharing this wonderful place with us!

Another wonderful week at the cottage

This was our second year renting from Sandra and Joe. This property truly has it all. A soft, fine grain sand beach with a gradual incline, especially perfect for young children! There isn’t a rock or weed in sight! Easy for guests of all ages to launch their kayak or paddle board. An anchored swimming raft, excellent for jumping off of or for soaking up the sun! The hammock, shaded areas and outdoor tables made for long picnic lunches and enjoying every minute of golden hour outside. The cabin is nestled into a cove, perfectly framing the sun as it goes down each night. The neighborhood is located about ten minutes from downtown Wolfeboro, it was easy to grab a quick ice cream cone or run to the super market. While the proximity of town is convenient, once back at the cabin we felt hours away, removed from the car/boat traffic of town. The only thing nicer then the location of the neighborhood are the fine folks who live there! We regularly rent and have never met a more welcoming bunch. Quiet, helpful and eager to help you enjoy lakeside paradise. Once inside, the cabin is exceptionally well equipped, clean and decorated with a cozy cabin feel. The large flat screen TVs & fast WiFi’s provided the comfort of home after long sun/lake filled days. Many happy memories were made around the large dining room table & playing cards in the sun soaked family room. We will be back next year and hope to find things exactly the same!

Cozy, comfy cottage with beautiful beach and view!

Comfy, cozy cottage stocked with everything you need. Sandy beach and swim platform were perfect! The kids loved it. House had a great layout for a family of 4 and 2 more guests. Owners were very friendly and welcoming. Thank you for the great memories on the lake!

Give it a 8 out of 10-- Well equipped, nicely furnished for Lake Holiday- Good location- quiet bay, few speed boats. Cleaners could do better -- but my wife picky. Holds 6 with ease. Owners responded well to questions and one challenge which was fixed quickly

While gratefull for the kind remarks, we are shocked that the cottage cleanliness was challenged. We employ the best cleaning team in the area and are always present while they clean. Then we ourselves detail the outside as well as correct any defects we can find. All our other clients usually comment that it the cleanest cottage they have ever rented and that is our goal.

Perfect lake getaway

We had an absolutely wonderful week at the lake. Sandra and Joe’s cottage suited all our needs perfectly. There was everything we could imagine including beach toys for the 2 children we travelled with. Everyone in the small community were welcoming to us and gave us great advice for things to do in the area. Such a special trip and we were so sad to leave. Will hopefully be back next year!!

Perfect for our family, including two little kids!

Great lake house for our family! The cottage was so clean and cozy! Upon arrival we found a lovely note and juice and cookies for the kids, which was very considerate! The kids loved playing on the sandy beach and the water was incredibly clean and crystal clear. We all had a wonderful time fishing from the dock and watching sunsets from the deck. There were plenty of sand toys to occupy our two small kids (2 & 4). Also, the close proximity to downtown was a plus! Thank you Joe & Sandra for sharing your home!

Fun in the sand!

Sandra and Joe were very responsive- the house was perfect. Kitchen is very well stocked and plenty of space for 4 adults and a baby. The lake is the perfect depth for very little kids and the porch is a great spot to watch the sunset. Hope we can come back soon!!
