We can offer a beautiful home with all of the amenities in the amazing Florida Keys, but you have to do the rest and enjoy your time. And you and your group knew how to do that. Some could take a lesson. The absolute best thing about this job is the fantastic people I meet along the way.....You all were certainly that!!!! Hope to see you again.

Hey Mauricio, it was great meeting you and your family and friends. I don't think I have ever seen such a caravan of vehicles and trailers full of jet skis, boats, golf carts, and yes your own floating dock, for a week. I am happy you had a great time while in The Keys. Hope to see you all again.

I am glad you had such a great time, and I so appreciate the difficulty in getting a family that size together for a whole 7 days, and you ladies pulled it off, my hat's off to you. I know you contacted me and said you meant to leave a 5 star review, and somehow it came out as 4. No worries, when I stopped by to visit and check on you, I saw you were having a 5 star vacation. So many things in my control, but that weather for an outdoor wedding is such a wild card. But the most weather perfect day, ended up being the wedding day. What a perfect start to a beautiful union.

It is so difficult to get everyone together for a whole week, good for you. I am sorry to hear that a few things were not satisfactory to you, however some of them I cannot verify. I am not sure that everyone knows that I am in that house every Saturday from 9 a.m. until I meet you at check in to show you around and answer questions, rather than sitting behind a desk. I do know that we have flatware for about 40, however I am sure keeping up with the dishes is a big challenge with a large group, and probably the dishwasher wasn't always emptied and so it may have seemed like a shortage. Jay, my grounds keeper on Saturdays can tell you how much of my flatware, bowls, popcorn containers, darts, and shuffleboard sticks and pucks he pulls out of the sand each week. As I tell everyone at check in, if you need something please let us know, we would be happy to drop it by. It was hard for me to keep track, as your group seemed very disorganized and nobody took the lead as the "go to" if something was needed or not working. I would get 5-10 texts, phone calls and emails about the pool as nobody was in charge. I always addressed the problem with the very first communication. It's true, my pool company had a little difficulty keeping the pool clear with your group. They have it clean for you on check in and then they stop by on Wednesdays to refresh it, however they needed to be there every other day while you were here. Not sure of the issue, hadn't had one prior to your arrival or since. They must have figured it out. It is true, we built a big, new, beautiful tiki down on the water front. We had a pile of the left over building materials, out of the way, in a pile on the property line between us and our property next door, in the eureka palms, until our builder could get there to pick it up. And the beautiful thing....the tiki was done and usable. We do have water and a working sink there. It is true the wind did a number on our hammocks, and took out the very last one while you were there. I think that pop up storm that came by also took out the pool umbrellas that were left open that night. No, worries, I keep them in stock and they are replaced. We provide bath towels, wash cloths, and hand towels for 30 people, along with beach towels. Sorry, we do not provide laundry service, and do not advertise that. We also have 2 washers and 2 dryers, and we provide the laundry detergent and dryer sheets for your use should you need to wash and dry your towels during the week. Thanks again for staying at the Sandpiper.

I am sorry you were disappointed Barbara. I do remember your stay and the unforeseen hot water issues in 2 bathrooms were identified and our electrician fixed the problem within 3 days. The 8 other baths had hot water, and the 2 baths in question were completely functional otherwise. I was quite impressed that the electrician could drop other jobs to address ours due to guests in residence. Our Wifi offered through Xfinity is the highest speed offered. We also have Orbi's placed intentionally throughout the home., for the best internet coverage. Carmen gives the tour and lets everyone know that I have each of these placed intentionally for the best signal coverage. She mentions that all electronics should be left plugged in where they are placed. Not everyone follows that rule and then it creates chaos with the coverage. Some tv's are Roku, some are the old smart t.v's and some have fire sticks. I think some people are challenged by our array of streaming. The t.v.'s are all left on intentionally so the guests can see that they are working upon arrival. Carmen will even explain how the older smart t.v.'s work. I know everyone is excited upon arrival and miss some things she is showing, or she explains things to a few people who do not share all of that info with others...definitely our challenge when it comes to the internet, a modem, 4 Orbi satellites and 19 t.v's. . Carmen responded each time you had an issue, even though, other than the hot water, the issues during your week were found not to be issues with our home. With no complaints she came each time anyway. It appeared when she was there that everyone was having a good time. The owners of this home made a very generous offer that I relayed to you several times and each time you ignored their offer and went on with your own narrative, warning me that if I didn't convince the owners to give you what you wanted you would put up a bad review, and here we are. I have pages of texts from you even long after your check out letting me know you would take to social media if we didn't comply. I wonder if we had paid......would you have left a good review? Maybe! We did what we could, and we did provide great customer service even though we knew that trying to make you happy was going to be futile. I hope that some time throughout your week you enjoyed The Florida Keys and the family time you came here for.
