Very clean. the host is fantastic super nice and friendly love the property .super nice view . house is beautiful…..The things I didn’t like. If you like to use the facilities as sauna . Hot tub is extra charge .in the info do not specify exactly about the extra charge. If you like privacy. Is not the place for you .the host live there. Divide by a rv slide door you can hear everything . I pay for use of the hot tub I end up not using it n check out a day early. For the matter of privacy again is not a bad review the house is really good the house super nice. It just no what I was looking for ..

Thank you for staying at the lower level of our house with separate entrance. Unfortunately, I was not at home during your stay. There is a microwave, air fryer, electric kettle, refrigerator and dish washer in the kitchenette, but no stove nor oven. You can use the stove and grill outside the house at the backyard anytime, If you want to use the full kitchen upstairs, you can schedule a time with me. We provide instant coffee and tea bags. Starbucks and Safeway are 6 minutes away. My family and I live upstairs, and I stay at home 99% of time, so I can bring everything to you upon request. Yes, there is only one bathroom at the lower level. If someone is urgent, you can text me and I can unlock the door between the upstairs and downstairs to let them use the bathrooms upstairs. Play sets for the children are not new, but just as pictured, I took the pictures with my cell phone without using any filters.

Beautiful home, beautiful view, lots of space, short drive to trails and quaint Port Gamble. Hosts were kind and accommodating. Bring your own griddle, crockpot, large mixing bowls and serving utensils. There is no stove but there is a fridge and microwave. Very basic kitchenette- could improve by adding basic spices and conveniences likealuminum foil and bowls/trays. They tolerated our large female group giggling and karaoke-ing till quiet hours and it's a great spot to just get away and be together. We did not use any of the 'extra' amenities such as the hot tub due to the extra cost. Note the main room of the house has a gap in the door that separates the space so it did not feel completely secure or separate from the main part of the house.
How the downstairs (rental portion) is separated from the main house.
Beach view/access from the edge of the property.

There were quite a few issues with this property. We arrived in the evening and the host came out to meet us- wanted to take copies of any adult IDs and have us sign liability waivers. There were no lights on the pathway to the door and it was very dark and raining- the little path to that door is only wide enough for a roller bag to follow so quite narrow. Once at the door the host gave us the code on a sticky note and we were asked to take our shoes off which is okay I guess but the rugs in the hall weren’t really secured to the floor. The lock locks automatically and fortunately our kiddos are older - I would be very concerned that someone will end up on one side and not be able to get back in - whether that be a child or adult. Once inside - the listing says there is a washer and dryer which were not made available to us. We spent an hour and a half trying to watch It’s Thanksgiving Charlie Brown. Nothing was hooked up properly we moved a television from the floor to a cabinet after spending an hour with the projector that was left behind by the old owner- and that was much of our stay- dealing with the projector to watch a less than 30 minute video - there are televisions in multiple rooms, none of them are hooked up to work properly. Even in spaces with a television and old vhs movies - there is no player. There a is a Roku- it is not set up to connect to anything. No direct access to hot tub and space isn’t secure with accordion door separating their house from space.

Thank you for staying at the lower level of our house. It is stated in our Vrbo listing that we require every guest at check in sign a liability waiver and every adult guest provide a picture ID because this is a big waterfront property. I also sent Jill a reminder one day before their arrival. Jill refused to sign a liability waiver nor provided any picture ID when they came. She was very rude, Anyhow, because it was late in the evening and it was raining, I allowed them to stay without providing any IDs. There were lights on the property ground and we also provided flashlights. The rugs in the hallway are firmly secured. Guests use a door code to unluck the door. When you leave, just close the door and the door will be locked automatically in one minute. Washers and dryers are available either at the main level of the house or in the guest cottage upon request, The previous homeowner left a complicated home theatre system, I do not list it as an amenity, but you can feel free to use them if you can figure it out. No cable TV, Free star link wifi is available everywhere throughout the large property ground. My family and I live upstairs of the big house with a locked door separating the guest area from the host living space. The lower level is more than 2000 sqf large including 3 bedrooms,1 bathroom, living room, dining room and kitchenette. An outside stove and grill are free to use, Fire pit is free, 2 kayaks are free. Hot tub and swim spa pool are at the backyard by the sea; Sauna room is inside the house at the lower level. Hot tub, swim spa pool and sauna are available for extra fees upon request. Please send me inquiry for the availability and rates. Parties, weddings and other events at the waterfront lawn may be available for a fee upon request,

Robin brought more people to our house than she booked. I found later that they even brought an air mattress to our living room without notifying me. They left a mess in the house. I had to throw away several new towels which were severely stained with many colors probably by the young kids in her big group. I sent her pictures, but she did not respond. They did not separate recycling from garbage. I did it for them after they checked out. They did not clean the kitchen and refrigerator they used properly. Our house is always thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. So we request shoes be removed before entering the house. Some people of Robin's group did not follow the house rules. I personally helped them check in, provided the door code and showed them around the house. The listing clearly indicates the lower level only has a kitchenette without cooktop and oven. When they requested to use the big kitchen upstairs to bake blueberry pies for their wedding, I had to reject their request because we were in the middle of using our kitchen and ovens.
