Wow is all you can say when you enter this 5th-floor oceanfront 3 bedroom, 3 bath villa. Located in the heart of the Palmetto Dunes Resort, this beautifully decorated villa has breathtaking panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. This villa also boasts a wonderful wrap around balcony that allows you to enjoy spectacular sunsets. Windsor Place offers two large oceanfront pools and a hot tub as well as a large sundeck, poolside restrooms, showers, and a covered pavilion with a grilling area.

This villa is perfect for families or a weekend getaway for two couples. Remember the unit includes 2 free hours of tennis or pickleball at the Palmetto Dunes Tennis and Pickleball Center.

We spent so much time on the amazing balcony. Cannot describe the peace every morning looking at that view! So blessed. It was also our 2nd visit to this property and we would return!

Excellent Property

We loved this property. Location is great, views are amazing, and it has easy access to pool and beach. I would highly recommend this rental: The only complaint is that the unit needs new bedding. The two extra rooms both had stained comforters.

The view from this condo was what you always dream about for your beach vacation! Incredible! I woke up to the site of the ocean, 2 balconies with the ability to sit outside and view the ocean even if it rained. The pool area and hot tub provided something for everyone in our family! Amazing trip. It's a 5 star

Great place - needs cleaning

The property is a beautiful set up and the pictures of the place are accurate. It is very comfortable and very well stocked with kitchen supplies etc. My 2 complaints are regarding cleanliness. The Windsor Place facility in general is not the cleanest nor did I ever notice anyone cleaning the pool area, pool baths, elevator etc. The cleanliness of the unit itself also needs improvement. It really needs a big overall deep clean. The glass shelves in the bar area were filthy as though they haven’t been touched in months. Old toothpaste which had dried down one of the bathroom cabinet doors was present. Lots of dust bunnies in all the corners and on many surfaces. Some crumbs in kitchen. We had to go over everything before we settled in. It needs a much greater attention to detail.

Perfect spot for our 1st trip to HHI

This was a fantastic property—the condo was amazing. Very comfortable. Decorated beautifully, fabulous view and a great supply of amenities. My family was incredibly comfortable there. The only issues we experienced were not with the vacation rental company but the property itself—there was work being done to the exterior of the property which required scaffolding being erected right next to one of the bedroom windows with sanding and drilling occurs as early as 8 am one morning—which for a high school senior was torture. They didn’t work long but they did not communicate to the vacation company thus we were not notified. It was just slightly inconvenient. And the pool really needed to be cleaned multiple times a day—it was littered with leaves the entire week. Again not a deal breaker but noticeable by many other guests as well. To end on a positive note—we received a $250 credit upon booking which we could use toward bike rentals and beach gear. What a very nice surprise—we absolutely took advantage of that! Overall a lovely trip. A lovely location on the island. Tons of great restaurants very nearby…. Thanks for sharing your place with us!

Great condo, no working elevator

We stayed here as a family for a fall break and thoroughly enjoy the unit. It is in need of some updates but functions just fine and has beautiful views from the fifth floor. The kitchen is quite small but was well equipped and we had everything we needed. Overall the property was in good shape and is in a perfect quiet location. The pool and grounds were overall well-maintained. The major problem is that the one elevator for the property was not working for most of the five days of our stay. We personally got stuck on the elevator three times, and the fire department had to be called to get us out once, they were on property several times while we were there. At times the doors would partially open, at times it would bounce up and down suddenly, and at times it opened between floors. It is unsafe. After speaking to long-term residents they report that this is a chronic and ongoing problem with no resolution in sight. We are healthy, and climbing five flights multiple times a day was an inconvenience for us. With luggage and baby gear, check-in and checkout days were a nightmare. I can’t imagine what it would be like for someone who is elderly or not physically able to manage that climb. For this reason I will not stay here again unless I have confirmation that the elevator has been repaired or replaced. It is a dealbreaker.

Excellent Unit

Fifth floor, corner unit with fantastic views. The screened in patio was a huge plus for our family. We really enjoyed the unit and recommend it to anyone looking for a place in Hilton Head.

Christmas Family Vacation

COVID getaway

The property is spacious with gorgeous views. All windows face the ocean! The property grounds were nice and clean. The unit itself could use some updating. Some paint and new bedding could take it to the next level!

Family Vacay 2020

508 was just what our family needed in 2020! The views were spectacular! There was enough room for everyone to have their own space. We did have an issue with the washing machine, but the rental company was so helpful and took care of the issue very quickly. Great place, great times!

Elevator problem

We had a 5th floor condo. With 5 grandchildren and a handicapped grandparent with lots of beach chairs, tent etc... to enjoy the beach. The elevator went out on Wednesday of our stay and was not repaired. This was a tremendous hardship for all involved. Not going to return to this unit. Additionally, we received no communication from property mgmt. We have been going to HHI for 20 years. Not coming back to these condos.

Palmetto Dunes Vacation

Our family enjoyed a week of vacation at palmetto Dunes. The unit is great and our family has gotten spoiled with this quiet beautiful unit with a fantastic view of the ocean. This was our second time in this unit and once again we had a great vacation.

The view and condo can't be beat!

The panoramic view doesn't get any better than 508 Windsor place. The condo is clean and well appointed. Love the recent updates including new bed in the master, paint, new furniture and updated kitchen. We won't stay anywhere else on HHI!
