A peaceful, family-oriented property so we enforce quiet hours from 10PM to 7AM out of respect for our neighbors.

Requires steps to acesss the area. This is a duplex but you will only have access to the upper unit.

I was unable to stay at this property due to a personal emergency that delayed my arrival and poor communication. Despite notifying the host in advance of my situation, I received no response or check-in instructions. I reached out again, requesting the check-in information upon arrival, but the host's delayed reply came after I had already made other arrangements and stayed with a friend. I cannot comment on the property itself, but the host's communication was poor.

It was a great spot for a quick weekend getaway with friends. My husband loved the minimalist vibe and was glad to have air conditioners in each room. The beds were firm, the pillows were comfortable, and the sheets were smooth. We loved the balcony.

Overall, the property was pretty nice, but very misleading. On the listing, it is advertised as an entire home - but when we got there, we learned that we only had access to one half of a duplex. The kitchen was a bit underwhelming; there were only a few pots and a handful of cooking utensils, so we weren’t able to use the oven. Also, there were a few spots that could have been cleaned better, such as the coffee table and under the bed. Other than that, we really enjoyed sitting out on the balcony and the fact that every room had a very nice AC unit in it. The location was also a plus - there is a park within walking distance and a shopping center that is a short drive away. The architecture of the property’s interior was also charming and beautiful.

We stayed here during a recent trip to Grand Rapids and unfortunately left disappointed. The property had several issues with cleanliness — there was an unpleasant smell, the floor vents and spaces under furniture were dirty, and dust had built up behind the drapes. Towels were scarce, there were no mattress covers, and the kitchen had a random hodge-podge of items that made cooking difficult. The sparse decor only added to the feeling that the space wasn’t well cared for.Safety was also a concern. The bathroom vanity was not anchored to the wall and felt unstable, which is especially worrying with small children. Additionally, there were lots of stairs, making the unit not very accessible for families or anyone with mobility challenges.On the positive side, the host was kind and accommodating, even allowing us to check in early. The neighbors were also very friendly, which made the overall atmosphere a little warmer.Overall, this property was not clean or safe enough for a family with young kids. With some serious attention to cleanliness, safety, and basic amenities, it could be a much better rental.
