Land's End is a gated waterfront community in Treasure Island, nestled at the end of a peninsula and surrounded by water on three sides. To the east, it borders a channel of the Intracoastal Waterway, while the Gulf of Mexico lies to the west, and Blind Pass to the south. This condo is in great shape, nicely renovated bathrooms and comfortable couch were highlights. Location at Lands End complex is the best with nice pool and wonderfully quiet, family friendly beach.

We have tried many different condos over the years and do really like this one. It was spotless, including the sofa cushions just being steam-cleaned when we arrived. The furnishings are updated and tasteful. I do wish there was a pantry area like weā€™ve enjoyed in other units for storing snacks and food, but honestly, we didnā€™t do much cooking so it was fine.

Our condo was on the gulf side and the views of the gulf and beach are spectacular! It is quiet and out of the way of traffic noise, but very convenient to shopping or excursions of you choose to venture away. Property lives up to its' name Lands End since it is truly at the end of Sunset Beach. It is out of the way, and very private. Property is well maintained, and very beautiful, condos are always clean and beautifully decorated. Nice kitchen if you enjoy cooking which we did more of this trip since we now have children. Resort rentals management and staff are wonderful as well. They are friendly and easy to work with. We are looking forward to our next vacation there!

The "King Size" bed was actually 2 twin mattresses put together with a big crack (separation) between them. Unable to sleep on the middle of the bed and was uncomfortable for my wife and I. The living room screen does not cover the sliding door opening. The correct screen needs to be installed. Kitchen could use more cookware. A fitness center would be a great amenity to Lands End. All else was done well.

Poorly equipped kitchen (not even measuring spoons!). Cheap cutlery - prep knives were horrible. Master closet was made smaller to accommodate an owner's closet and was extremely small! No smart TV in living or master to use a firestick. Owner only provided very basic cable. No broom, no hamper...overall cheaply and sparsely furnished. Not even an end table to place a glass!

Amazing view

This condo is fabulous. The location is great and the ocean view is amazing! The condo layout and furnishings worked perfectly for our family of four. The only issues we experienced were with the property management... We were given incorrect door lock combination for condo, so upon arrival we could not enter and had to call management company and await return call with correct combo. All was resolved within 15-20 minutes. Once we were in the condo, I found the kitchen counter had clearly not been cleaned as it had a LOT of crumbs on it which I wiped down. The rest of the condo, including bathrooms, was very clean... so i think the cleaning crew simply forgot to do kitchen counters. These two problems were easily resolved, but I feel worth bringing attention to the property mngt company. All in all, the condo itself was great and the location and view make it amazing. Very short walk to the sand, you can see and hear the ocean from the condo, play tennis, and enjoy the pool!

(We missed 2017 when we took the grandkids west to CA and 2020 due to the pandemic). We go every year as soon as the kids are out of school. My grandkids ages 21,20,18,10,9, and 6, along with their parents wouldn't choose any other destination. LE is their favorite. This year between my family and my sisters we rented 5 condo Units. We had 3 and she had 2. Other years other brother and sister's families have made the trick and we've had as many as 8 units rented. We have found the location to be perfect. The grounds are immaculately kept. The beach is never crowded, the pool is magnificent, and the location allows for easy off-site adventures. We have also come to know many of the owners of the units we have rented. They are all so very gracious and accommodating. Trust me when I say LANDS END is the perfect destination for making and keeping family memories for years to come.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented for 5 weeks Lands End, Bldg 6, Unit 303. While trying to obtain the code for the condo door, we were given a wrong code for the lockbox at RR. Frustrating in the dark! The location of the condo was excellent having a view of both the Gulf and Blind Pass. The noise level of the unit was more than acceptable. The conditions of the unit were less than mediocre. Upon arrival we were told the dishwasher wasn't working and we found one of the smoke alarms was missing and the wires hanging from the ceiling. One of the light bulbs in the guest bath was broken and not working. Each bedroom and the living room had blinds which were either broken or inoperable. One of the twin beds in the guest bedroom had a coverlet which had what looked like blood stains on it. On our first night, the smoke alarm in the master bedroom began beeping as if there was a fire. We had to sleep in the guest room to escape the noise. The master bedroom bed had 2 twins covered by a topper. Not ideal. The topper wouldn't stay in place and the sheets were not the right size causing issues. The clothes washer seems to have a balance issue during spinout. The masterbath toilet isn't seated properly & will cause future problems. The kitchen utensils and knives could be updated. Having stayed at Lands End in a different condo last year, this was a let-down.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived late, around midnight and the lock on the door was jammed. We called for assistance and promptly got a call back. We did manage to get the door open, my husband pushed a button on the door itself once opened and we had no further problems. Beyond that, we had a great experience. The condo layout was very accommodating for our family of 5, with 3 teenagers. Everyone had a place to have some space and there were plenty of TV's if more than one person wanted to watch. The kitchen was well appointed, we cooked several times and found all we needed. We loved the beach. It was very clean and family oriented with lots of space to play on the beach area as well as swim. Having a washer and dryer was very convenient for swim gear.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Resort Rentals - 10Location - 10Condo - 8.5 - needs some updating. Bathrooms are tired. New bedding/blankets would be nice. L/R TV was not good and needed replacement. Mgmt Co said it was addressed after we left.Weather - 7 - but that's not your fault! :)
