Prepare for some serious relaxing in this beautiful home. This mountain getaway is located on the 9th hole of the golf course of the exclusive Flagstaff Ranch gated community. The home is in the most quiet corner of the community and immedietly adjacent to the state land trust forest with thousands of acres of rolling hills, hiking trails, and wildlife. Truly, the best of both worlds. The quaint and historic town of Flagstaff is only 5 miles away, and the Grand Canyon and Sedona are within an easy day-trip drive.

An inviting front porch welcomes you into the family room with a soaring wood ceiling, gas fireplace, a huge window that looks out onto the fairway and tall pines. This home is in pristine condition and super clean. Plenty of spaces to escape here to read one of the antique books , play games, dominoes or watch a movie.

It has has a well appointed kitchen with seating at an island, bar, and large dining room table for 8. You can also sit on the back patio with seating for 7 and enjoy the breeze.

The large master bedroom has a cal-king beauty rest pillow top mattress and day bed in it's own separate nook. The master bath has 2 vanities, large garden tub, seperate shower and huge walk in closet. Down the hall are a 1/2 bath, bedroom with 2 twin beds and another guest room connected with a jack-and-jill bathroom. There is a queen air mattress as well if needed.

Outside take a ride or walk through beautiful Flagstaff Ranch. There are plenty of hills to get a good workout in and the view of the caldera and San Francisco peaks are gorgeous. Fishing in one of the many stocked ponds is always great fun before or after the golf course closes at 7 and there is very easy access to the state land trust forest for hiking, deer and elk watching. There is a beautiful club house and bar to dine in as well. The gatehouse has on-site security and EMT services.

About Tiffany

Two brothers, Arizona natives, and their families own this home. The older brother is a surgeon and he and his family live in Tempe, Arizona. The younger brother is a teacher and founder of a network of classical, liberal arts schools and he and his family live in Scottsdale.

Why Tiffany chose Flagstaff

Our family has always had a mountain home in Lake Tahoe but we weren't able to get there often. We fell in love with Flagstaff, the Flagstaff Ranch community and purchased something more accessible for us. This is a great place to just be together and have as much fun as you want to. The boys in our family love the community for the golf and fishing. The ladies love the accessibility to nearby Flagstaff for shopping, movies, and dining. We all love the forest and a shared family tradition is the short hike to the caldera at dusk to watch the herds of elk and deer. The aspen trees, pines, and wildlife, with the Mt. Humphrey (the highest point in Arizona looming in the background)--there is no better Arizona experience in our opinion.

What makes this house unique

You can come to Flagstaff Ranch and never leave if you wish. If exploring is what you like to do, numerous restaurants are close by and the historic downtown full of shops, pubs and sightseeing. And, of course, the Grand Canyon is just over an hour drive away and Sedona less than an hour.

This is a beautiful home in an ideal location! The views are spectacular and it's easy to get to almost anywhere from the house. Only 5 mins or so to downtown Flag and a beautiful 45 minute drive to Sedona. The house had everything we needed including comfortable couches/chairs, lots of room, great beds, and a lovely (and toasty) fireplace. The owner is also very responsive and accommodating. We hope to stay in this home again on our next visit to Flagstaff. Thank you!

Beautiful home with breath taking views!

My family and I just spend the holiday weekend in this beautiful home. The home was clean with great decor. It was stocked well and had everything we needed. It was the perfect place to spend quality time with my family. The area was quiet with close proximity to shopping areas. The owner was very responsive and available. A Beautiful Family Home!

I highly recommend this beautiful cabin for a family stay, It is very spacious and has a welcoming floor plan along with spectacular views!

The purpose of our stay was to attend our son's graduation from Northern Arizona University, we found that the 10 min drive to and from the school was a perfect distance to stay clear of downtown traffic and yet enjoy the peacefulness we where surrounded by amongst the gorgeous pines.

Nice surroundings

It is a very nice surrounding with the tall trees, golf course, and security gate but there were some draw backs with the home itself for us. This home does have some good natural light but when it gets dark there are very little lights virtually everywhere except the kitchen, master, and bathrooms which are lighted by lamps so it is quite dark. After putting the kids to bed we normally like to watch tv in the bedroom so we keep the noise away from where they are sleeping, but even though there is a tv present it is not hooked up to anything.

Whoever cleans the home could do a better job vacuuming and picking up. Our 1 year old was playing by the couch and it wasn't uncommon that we would check on her and she would be playing with water bottle tops or other stuff that has been under the chairs for who knows how long. We ate breakfast the first mourning and the sink wouldn't drain, I fished around in others leftover food in the disposal to find a sponge that was wedged down in the disposal.

Unfortunately the worst part was this is still a new construction neighborhood and even though this house has been standing for probably quite a few years without neighbors on either side of course the second day we are there they begin cutting down the trees on the neighbors lot and jack hammering all the rock and boulders for starting the foundation on the neighboring lot about 40 feet away.

Owner's Response: Thank you Brandon for your useful feedback on how we can improve our cabin. We’d like to touch on each point you brought up. In the evening, there is recessed lighting in the living room as well as lamp lighting for manual control for extra lighting. The lighting in the 2 smaller bedrooms contains manual bedside lamps and one lamp/outlet controlled by the bedroom light switch. The master bedroom has both recessed lighting and bedside lamps. There are 3 television sets in the house and a fourth to be hooked up soon. We originally had just the main television in the living room, and didn’t use it much. Our preference as a family was to retreat from television, internet, and social media. We love to get outside, soak up nature, and come back rejuvenated. At the request of guests, we have now added wifi and additional televisions in the last couple months. We will have all televisions up and running by summer (2017). This will make the cabin enjoyable for everyone. We have had the most wonderful house cleaner for almost 5 years now. She is efficient, reliable, and detailed. With that being said it is common for anyone to miss things in a familiar environment. We welcome any cleaning feedback to pass on to her. In regards to handy-man service, we have a company on speed dial for sink clogs, leaks, or anything that could come up with regards to fixes. If a guest were to contact us with an issue of this nature, we take it very seriously and request same-day service. We take pride in our cabin and the comfort of our guests. From the first day we purchased our cabin (2008), we have known there are empty lots to purchase next to us and throughout the community. Inevitably, the day would come when building would pick up. The construction hours are Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm. It has been 9 years of empty lots sprinkled throughout Flagstaff Ranch and now we are witnessing an incline of growth to parallel the financial health of our economy. Although construction can sometimes be aggravating and intrusive, these companies are very amiable. The lot next to our cabin will be complete by Fall 2017. We are sure to have great neighbors and future friends moving into our community!

Flagstaff Ranch is a beautiful neighborhood. We would defiantly stay there again.
