Stayed June 30 to July 10, 2014. Easy street parking. Nice quiet neighborhood to walk and see amazing Seattle home gardens and flowers. Appreciated Starbucks coffee pouches provided plus ample spice rack for us to use when cooking in evenings. Entire home very clean including gas stove. Good size fridge with freezer and ice ready. Washer, dryer and cleaning supplies a plus. Plenty of Kleenex, t.p. and paper towels for our extended stay. Great water pressure in shower. Excellent grocery shopping at nearby PCC - similar to Whole Foods. Spent many a morning relaxing with coffee at lovely large glass picnic table in small but very sweet back yard. Place is not air conditioned but nice box fan to put in window, and modern windows with screens, made it always comfortable, even when it was 80+ degrees. Only utensil not provided was an ice cream scoop - we bought one and left it for future folks. One suggestion: only one very old dresser in the house - but there is a large closet with lots of hangers and some shelves. For an extended stay as we did, a newer dresser would have been appreciated, perhaps two since there are two bedrooms. :). As others mentioned, skylight in second bedroom would make it very difficult for going to bed in summer before sun goes down (almost 10 PM) or for naps. If you have a small child, bringing blue masking tape and aluminum foil or black heavy garbage bag to tape over it would help. Since we are "seniors" we did not use stroller etc but did see them in closet. Stairs to house are less step than they look in picture but they are the only way into the house. If you have a disability, this would not be an ideal place. We did the stairs just fine. Overall, highly recommended! We will book again should we return to Seattle - and that of course, is the best recommendation you can give!
