Family getaway

Nice place. Two bedrooms down stairs each with a door outside. Main living area and third bedroom up stairs. One thing didn't see from other reviews I might have missed it is that there is rock steps down to the beach this made is easy to take the kids down.

Family trip

Such a cute house with the best view. Not much to do in Rockaway beach but the house is worth driving the extra miles to Cannon Beach or Seaside for the day. Will stay here again.

Great Spot for Family

This location was perfect, situated directly on the beach. The apartment was spacious and very welcoming, a super cute vibe. Lots of puzzles and board games to hang inside when it was raining and the owner provided extra details around the place to make you feel cared for. Ex. Extra soaps, towels, laundry baskets, a good amount of utensils and spices in the kitchen, and some beach gear. It was very considerate and we will definitely be renting this again!

Heaven On Earth!

It doesn't get any better than this! Right on the beach, beautiful sunsets, and getting to watch the ocean and sunset from a hot tub. Very clean, spacious and perfect for all of us. It was hard to leave here. Would HIGHLY recommend this place. Will def be back!!!

Rockaway Heaven on earth

The house was great, and clean as the pictures show. The view from the upper level was great, even though it rained 90% of the time we were there we had a clear view of the ocean. When there was a break in the storm, we walked out to the beach from the back patio with my toddler. The pathway was fairly easy for her to walk, with a few steps being just a tad tall for her on her own. We’ll be renting again in the future!

Literally a few steps from the beach, I found a kite in the garage and flew it !!

Lovley house. only a couple of hicups that were addressed right away. We had awsome neighbors who came over to let us know the Northern Lights were on display !!! I had no Idea I was going to check off a bucket list item! And to experience it with my grandchildren was epic !!

Great beach front location

The location of the house is excellent, just a few steps to the beach, and tons of ocean facing windows inside. The kitchen is well stocked, and while the living room is a bit cramped for a group of people we really liked that each bedroom had its own bathroom. While the property is a bit more of a walk from town center than we are used to this is more than made up for by the excellent restaurant/bar around the corner. The one weird thing is that the only access to the back deck is through the two downstairs bedrooms, but this was not a big issue for us.

Amazing location

This how is perfect if you want to be steps from the beach. You do have to go down some steps but it’s literally in the front yard. The view was perfect and the house was spacious. We had some issues with the heat and fireplace and tried contacting Vacasa multiple ways with partial responses which was a bummer. Not sure we’ll go through Vacasa again for that reason but undecided as we did really like the location of the house.

Breathtaking views

Let me tell you, when they say oceanfront, they mean it! It couldn’t get any closer!! It’s almost mesmerizing how beautifully close the surf is. So sitting in the hot tub during the day is breathtaking. And at night, the sound and the dark sky that seems to show off each and every star, it’s magical. I live West Coast local, so I have been to the beach hundreds of times, and can easily say this is the closest I have ever stayed, outside of Hawaii. I took my 24 year old daughter for the weekend, along with both of our small dogs, just to unwind and relax. She planted herself in that window lounge area and stayed there accept for a quick run to town, or when we were sitting at the table playing a game. I could talk about it’s beauty forever. I will absolutely be back!!

Unbeatable Views, All Season Relaxation

The views from the second level are unbeatable. We watched from the kitchen table and corner nook as a whale spouted multiple times, a boogie boarder braved the cold water, and bald eagles flew by over the water. There are even binoculars next to the window. The beds were all very comfortable, the path to the beach from the back patio was short, and the view from the patio hot tub was unbelievable. There is nothing quite like watching the sunset over the Pacific Ocean from a hot tub. The home is also walking distance to a few restaurants and gift shops etc. I can't think of a better place to stay in Rockaway Beach for the price with 3 full bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen has tons of counter space and two full ovens for Thanksgiving dinners or Christmas turkeys. We are hoping to plan another trip and rent the other side of the duplex with the In Laws so we can have a big family get together in the whole home.

Great view

We were mesmerized by the view. The decor was bright and cheerful, and the layout of the house was comfortable. We knew it was a pet friendly home, but were admittedly surprised by the amount of hair still left on all the furniture. The house could use a much needed deep clean. We did find the listing slightly misleading with the images of the hot tub, as there was no hot tub. Because of the slightly misleading marketing and the cleanliness of the house I feel it was overpriced with all the additional fees. Over all it was a nice getaway that we used to accomplish a couple big work projects that required deep concentration with no distractions.

Fabulous location

We had the best time at this beautiful beachfront property. Loved waking up and watching the waves roll in. The rooms were so comfortable and the kitchen had absolutely everything you could need.

Beach Duplex

Rhis home is right on the beach. It is a older duplex but it was wonderful. We watched the ocean from our windows and listened to waves at night for a peaceful sleep. Our pups would barely let us drink our coffee before they wanted to be running free in the beach! It was very affordable also. We will go back!

Well stocked house with great view

The house is well stocked, spacious, excellent view and a dozen steps away from the sandy beach. We stayed for a week and liked the place. Love to stay here again someday. Has good internet connection, that stayed on. Owners left a manual with many details, check-in/out instructions and near by attractions. That was nice. One opportunity for improvement - The manual needs more detailed instructions on which remote control to use for what (perhaps with photos) on how to operate the TV and DVD player. We could not make them work. :).

Dirty with an amazing view.

The view is unbeatable and you can't get better beach access. But the place was dirty with dog hair on he couch and comforter, food crumbs on the kitchen table and trash on the floor. We visited in January 2021, during the covid-19 pandemic expecting cleanliness. It wasn't even clean for normal standards.
