The perfect hut in an AMAZING location!

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved our stay in the hut and are already trying to work out when we can come back! The location is fantastic! Right on the beach, literally!! So nice to be out your front door and set up without getting in a car! The hut is so well equipped with everything you need and the box of sand toys and boards was great for the kids! Having Ted’s bakery just down the road was so handy and has great food! Although you are sharing with 2 other houses, we had such friendly families staying so nice to have a chat. We will definitely be back, hopefully sooner rather then later!! Mahalo!

Very nice peaceful location right on the ocean in a quiet neighborhood.

  • 5 of 5

The “Hula Hut” was exactly what we were looking for - a quiet, “off the beaten path” reasonably priced lodging. You get a great feel for the beauty of Oahu, much different from the more frantic pace of the big city. Of course we visited Honolulu, but were very happy to drive back to the North Shore to watch surfers right off the backyard! Also saw turtles at beach recommended in our “Guide to the North Shore”, written by our hosts. The Guide also led us to pie at Ted’s and breakfast at a great place in Halewia.

Paradise in North Shore

  • 5 of 5

Our stay was from May 2nd-5th 2018. We had a great time for the short time we were in paradise. There were 4 of us adults.

Came here for a wedding at Sunset Ranch which was about 10-15 minutes away.

We enjoyed being in paradise foot steps away! Even though it rained for a few hours everyday, we managed to have a great time! Ted's Bakery was very convenient for my 19 year old son and his girlfriend to walk to and driving to Haleiwa was about a 20 minute drive, the cutest little town in the North Shore area was great as well. Great shopping and lots of food trucks along the way. There's also Foodland, a grocery store which is convenient as well along the way. My son and his girlfriend got to experience scuba diving for their first time with Surf & Sea at Shark's Cove. Overall, I do recommend staying here at the Hula Hut. Thank you Melissa & Tyler!

With Sincere Blessings,

Todd & Stephanie Krejci

Beach & views were worth the trip

  • 5 of 5

At first glance, this is an older property shared with two other rentals and needs updating, and that is gradually being done. But, the Hula Hut is in a great North Shore location; beach is just through the yard gate. We enjoyed watching surfers and spectacular sunsets from the gazebo, as well as walking to Ted’s for plate lunches, pastries and Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cream Pie! This was the most relaxing vacation we’ve had in many years and hope to return soon.
