Belle propriĂ©tĂ© de chalet situĂ©e entre Ludington et Baldwin sur la branche sud de la riviĂšre Pere Marquette. Venez pour la grande pĂȘche et le lieu de sĂ©jour tout en chassant votre propriĂ©tĂ©, en vous relaxant tranquillement, en kayak ou en descendant la riviĂšre, ou en motoneige en hiver dans les sentiers de la forĂȘt nationale Manistee Ă  proximitĂ©. La maison a une vue magnifique sur la riviĂšre en toutes saisons et est idĂ©alement situĂ©e Ă  environ 30 min de Ludington, Ă  1 h de la cĂŽte de Muskegon, Ă  1 h 5 de Grand Rapids et Ă  1 75 h de Traverse City. Destinations populaires Ă  moins d'une heure de route: Pentwater, Hart et Silver Lake Sand Dunes. Relaxing

We had such a relaxing time staying here! The cabin has lots of room and is very clean. Saw lots of deer and Turkeys! Very peaceful place to go to just re-set! Cool breeze off the river as well.

The property was very clean, well taken care of and just like the pictures showed. It was very quiet and peaceful with great scenery and wonderful views. The short walk to the bridge at the end of the road resulted in our family enjoying a 1.5 hour tube float back to the cabin. Everything is a short drive (about 30 mins) from the cabin. It was a great time and we will definitely return for a future vacation.

We rented this cabin and the one next store owned by the same host. It was wonderful. The river was beautiful. The host was very nice and attentive. Went to Pentwater to shop and to Baldwin for that a float down the pers Marquette. These cabins were comfortable and perfect for family. We would definitely rent this again.

What a great place to reset and enjoy nature! The home was cozy but very roomy. Beautiful large kitchen with new looking appliances. Beds were so comfortable!! Unfortunately, the TV worked great so my husband could watch all his football games over the weekend. We were blessed with good weather and watched the October leaves change and fall, the steelhead swim upstream and enjoyed a couple evening fires. The house sits on a nice road to walk your pup down, too. The house was well maintained and clean. The location is quite a ways from a grocery store, so I suggest shopping before you come. We really enjoyed our time here and hope to return. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Family Weekend

We stay with our four adult kids (18-22) for three nights. Our stay could not have been better. The place was clean, well kept and the perfect size for our group. We enjoyed relaxing tmornings and evenings by the river. The directions and all the information we recieved up front was very helpful. We were 45 min or less from all the activities we wanted to do (Pentwater, Siver lk sand dunes, Pine river canoe). We will be booking again next year.

Weekend getaway

We decided to book a last minute weekend getaway to do some dirt biking and got the added benefit of getting to do some pretty spectacular fishing right outside the back door of the house. Would highly recommend Dave’s place and we look forward to staying again in the future.

I was involved in the marking, janitorial and packaging business for over 36 years and sold my packaging businesses in 2018. My wife, Sue, and I live up here adjacent to this property to the north. We love the outdoors, traveling and our family and grandkids.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

We chose to purchase this property to keep it in the family. My dad and his brother built the original cabin in the early 1960's. It has been added onto 2 different times since then. We love this area because it is quiet, peaceful with no traffic or city noise and we love all of our wildlife in this area. We have deer, turkey's, eagles, blue herons and alot of birds. We enjoy the ever-changing views of the river and woodlands.

Enjoying the views of the river, which you can not do with new construction any longer because this section of the Big South Branch of the Pere Marquette River is designated as a National Blue Ribbon Trout Stream and Natural River. Open fishing all year. The quiet relaxation you feel while here. Literally sitting on the deck feels like sitting on the banks of the river you are so close!!
