Ok for short stay

  • 2 of 5

The whole house was dirty. I'm not talking just dusty and sticky but Cobb webs on the stairs going up to the bedrooms. Had wear flip flops in the house all the time because the floors were gritty. The rugs were old and seemed ratty. The bathroom didn't have toilet paper bars for the holders. The master bathroom had cracked drawers and Formica. The coffee pot does not make hot coffee and the tea pot on the stove is disgusting. The whole house needs some TLC. Pictures on the website should be updated to reflect the current condition of the house. I don't remember the bedroom off the kitchen being described without a door on it. We were a little miffed at that one. It almost seemed the house hadn't been rented in awhile. We were disappointed in the house all around.

Very great place to stay! Very "at home" vibe. Love that it came with AC, Wi-Fi, a grill and so many extra linens! Very good distance from Parris Island and downtown Beaufort. Overall beautiful home very well taken care of and owners have thought of everything for our stay!

Great Locataion

  • 4 of 5

The house was a great place to stay while we were attending our Grandson's graduation from Marine Boot Camp. There are a few things that if you are wanting to take a long hot bath in a big tub the tub plug didn't hold water. The toilet upstairs didn't flush very well. When you pay $100.00 to clean up and you left it cleaner than when you got there no mess anywhere. Very dusty I know I have allergies. I would recommend it because it was center to many things to do around such a beautiful town of Beaufort. Thank you

Where do you live?

Perfect choice for Maine graduation!

  • 4 of 5

Roomy home for large family gathering. Nice they allow pets (though we didn't bring any), but we did have to air out the place. After that, it was fine. The kitchen needs some pots and pans, and handsoap and a roll of TP for each bathroom would have been nice. Having 2.5 bathrooms and a waher and dryer was great, as was the decorating of the home in general. The back patio and porches were great. The paint choices were cheery. Heat and a/c work great. We would choose to rent this house again.

I wish you would have let me know you needed anything while you were there because I would have made sure it was taken care of ASAP. The owners and housekeeper have been notified so this isn't an issue for any future guests. We appreciate any and all feedback from our guests, because it helps us to be better hosts. Scenic Setting in Beaufort

  • 5 of 5

Excellent house to stay for vaca! If you are active, can walk to the historic district of Beaufort-- Better yet, get some bikes!!! The house is larger than I expected with very comfortable beds and a plethora of extra pillows and linens. My favorite part of the house was the back porch which is screened in and has a table and chairs if you want to sit and have coffee! Loved it! All the luxuries of being at home-- including coffee maker and central air, but bring your own hair dryer and soap. Very close to the Marine Base-- Parris Island. We were able to be there within 15 minutes for my son's graduation from Bootcamp. Conveniences like Publix and a liquor store right around the corner and people were sooooooooo friendly!!!!! Stay here!!! you will not be disappointed!!!
