Misquamicut is a 3 mile stretch of one the most beautiful beaches in Rhode Island. This newly remodeled home has been in the family for 50 years and is 3 years into the rental market. The beach is literally 25 steps from your door.
There is parking for 3 to 4 vehicles and the home is accessible via a ramp onto an outside patio. The patio offers nice outside seating with a gas grill. There is a sliding door entrance into the house.
The first floor is open and easy for entertaining. There is a full kitchen, dining, living area, 1/2 bath, and laundry area as well as a master bedroom with walk in shower, queen bed and sitting area.
Up the spiral staircase you will find a bedroom with 2 twin beds with full bathroom across the hall. The most spectacular room in the house is the upstairs master bedroom with the best view of both the Long Island and Block Island Sounds. This is a great family room with two queen beds and a sitting area to enjoy the view as well as its private bath which has a great soaking tub.
This great vacation home is available from April through October.
This property is owned by the Colucci family who owns and operates The Andrea Seaside Restaurant and Beach Bar which is diagonally across from The Beach House.

This is a large recently renovated home across the street from a public access beach that is true to the listing and better than advertised. It is clean, modern, open with so many bathrooms which becomes important with large groups. We were 8 adults. My immediate family ages 19,22, and husband used the huge upstairs master suite with jacuzzi plus shower. This room has wrap around windows skylights that bath you in sunshine and cross breezes and the sound and view of the ocean. We took advantage of the wifi. We came from Ohio for a short stay off season (when the insulation and heat were appreciated) with my parents and aunt who live in CT. We needed a handicap accessible property as my Dad is ill and weak. It was our chance to spend time with him and reminisce about our childhood vacations in Weekapaug. We could not have made this outing to the beach without this house. I am so grateful to Judy for being so forward thinking in her renovations. We could not have come to the beach if not for the accessibility.
My parents had the wonderful first floor suite and we used the ramp with Dad's wheelchair. The first floor is open and spacious with hardwood floors, seating for 8 at the table and a well stocked kitchen with nice matching china and plenty of wine glasses. No mismatched plastic plates and cups here! The kitchen is clean with granite counters extending into the laundry area also. (New washer and dryer) The porch has a gas grill and the afore mentioned ramp to the parking area. We did not grill out as it was cold but had coffee on the porch in the afternoon when the sun was shining.
I would definitely recommend this property.

If I were to build my own vacation spot it would be just like this. My husband, myself, our two grown children and their spouses thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent here. There was plenty of room for all of us.
The house was extremely well equipped. The access and amenities for me (I am disabled and use a scooter to get around) were perfect. The master bathroom has grab bars in the shower and is large enough to accomodate my scooter.
We spent many hours relaxing on the deck which looks out over the beach.
The house is directly across the street from a beautiful beach. It is just a short walk and there is a ramp to get onto the beach.
We had many meals at the restaurant which is diagonally across the street. The Andria's food and service was excellent. They have a deck for dining which is right on the beach. How nice it was to enjoy good food while gazing at the ocean.
The owner was terrific. The house was beautifully maintained. We plan to go back this summer and can't wait to get there. We would recommend it to all our friends.
This home is located in a seasonal beach community with great beach access. It is 5 minutes from Historic Watch Hill, 10 minutes from downtown Westerly, and a short ride to nearby Mystic, Ct and Newport, RI.
