Gather used towels
Remove personal items and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Day of leaving, please throw away all trash into the trash bin. All dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start the cycle or hand wash the dirty dishes.
Dirty towels placed by the washer on the last day and please leave the beds undone as they will be washed when the cleaners arrive. Turn off all lights before you leave.
Summer guests* please turn off the window units before leaving for your stay. Thank you!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
During Summer Season please unplug upstairs window unit if using blow dryer.

It's an older home, but nicely renovated and decorated. Plenty of sleeping space and nice amenities--fire pit, grill, an assortment of games and throw blankets and super comfortable recliner couches and chair. It's just 3 blocks away from the boardwalk, tennis and skate park, a public beach, and downtown shops and restaurants. Lake Missaukee is a beautiful, clean lake for swimming, boating and fishing. We were able to bring 2 of our beloved dog family members. Highly recommended if you are looking for a casual getaway in a quaint Northern community.Just a note, watch the stove when you are cooking. Burners temps are hard to gauge-they are either warm or too hot. Make sure that the code is available to turn off the smoke alarm in the event you set it off. Otherwise, you might get to meet the local fire department!

This historic home built in 1900 has 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and a nice layout for the living room and kitchen with a dining table that can seat 6 comfortably. Enjoy the convenience of being within walking distance to the downtown area of the restaurants, public library and beach!
