Guestbook comments from the owner

"Thank you so much for offering us such a beautiful house in which to spend my 50th birthday. As everyone else has said, "it has absolutely everything in it and is a real home.

The boys especially loved the comfy beds and I loved sitting out on the deck in the sunshine first thing in the morning.

We recommend dining at the Girl & the fig, sunflower Cafe and Maya

Cycle around the vineyards, avoid Viansa winery 'tour" was anything but. we found Napa overpriced so much returned to this side of the valley!"

PS we're very sad to be leaving

Great home with great amenities. We really enjoyed our stay.

We even canceled a winery tour to enjoy the pool! Only downside is you have to drive to go for a walk or hike.

Wonderful oasis in the heart of Sonoma County

  • 5 of 5

We cannot say enough good things about this property and the host. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home. Everything was perfect and exceeded our expectations. You can tell that a lot of love and care go into this home.

The pool was wonderful especially in the hot days of August after winery tours. The heated feature was wonderful if we wanted to take a dip in the morning when it was a bit cooler.

It was centrally located near some wonderful wineries in Sonoma and a short drive to Healdsburg wineries. It was also a short drive to the center of town where there were great restaurants.

We did not want to leave this country oasis in the heart of Sonoma Valley.

PS - We arrived to beautiful sunflowers, a bottle of rosé, and delicious homemade jam. Wonderful hosts to say the least!

Beautiful home. Great decor in the home and great landscaping outside the home. Very well maintained home. The home is also very centrally located…close to town and close to tons of wineries. Me and 5 of my girlfriends stayed here for a girls weekend. Loved it! We thought we’d find the 10 pm noise ordinance a bit annoying, but it wasn’t bad at all. Highly recommend staying here.

Pleasant stay in wine country

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay in Stephanie and Jamie’s home. The property is tidy, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated. The pool was warm and clean, and our babies loved playing in the water. The home is quie and, private, but very convenient to downtown Sonoma - a quick 10 minute drive. We loved spending time at Orchard Cottage and would recommend it for any family or group looking for a peaceful oasis in wine country.

Relaxing and Beautiful

  • 5 of 5

The property was more beautiful than the pictures show. The house was clean, the pool was a great temperature, and it was all perfect for our ladies' weekend. It was close to downtown Sonoma, which was convenient the first night we flew in. We ate at The Girl and the Fig (amazing). It wasn't too far from the wineries in Napa & Oakville (loved Round Pound the most, but also shout outs to Robert Mondavi and Frog's Leap) and finally, the great restaurants there, Mustard's Grill and Brix (which were outstanding). Get reservations for all of these places. Overall, a great stay. Thank you!
