About the property

2 Bedroom, 1 Bath, Centrally Located Private Home

If you are seeking an interim home while in Fort Collins for an extended stay for work or play, this ideally located and fully remodeled home is the place for you!

Built in 1946, this home offers a perfect central location for walking, biking, or easily getting just about anywhere in Fort Collins. Four blocks from the CSU Performing Arts Center, theatre performances and concerts are only a short walk away. The Spring Creek/Poudre bike trails are just a few blocks to the south. Fort Collins's vibrant old town/downtown is a walk or easy bike ride away. Also close are the flower gardens, Whole Foods, Poudre Valley Hospital, the CSU veterinary teaching hospital, and the Fort Collins Club Fitness Center. And, the best part is that in spite of being in the center of so much activity, this home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood on a quiet street.

Inside, the house has been completely remodeled. The kitchen is recently completed and features a professional style Dacor gas stove and oven which for those that like to cook is a dream to cook on. The master bedroom is spacious and comfortable featuring plenty of storage, the home’s original hardwood floors, and a king-size bed. The second bedroom is small but works well for one person or two small ones who can share the full size bed. Satellite tv, plenty of dvds to choose from and internet access are provided. The laundry room offers a full size washer and gas dryer.

Large Pella doors open to the backyard deck where you’ll find a gas grill and space for outdoor dining or relaxation. The yard is fenced for safety. Finally, there is even a one car attached garage. The garage is fairly small and will accommodate standard sized vehicles.

This home is strictly non-smoking. While our general policy is no pets preferred, some dogs may be allowed if approved at the time of reservation. An additional pet fee, proof of vaccinations from your veterinarian, and signed pet agreement will be required. Sorry, no cats (due to owner’s allergies) or other pets. This house is small, so no large gatherings or groups at any time.

Lovely little mid-century house, totally renovated, in a charming neighborhood and ideal location.

  • 4 of 5

This little house had everything we two needed for a month in charming Ft Collins. We loved the historic neighborhood and the enormous and gorgeous fall trees. The bike trails are easily accessed and beautifully maintained. Ft Collins has extraordinarily good restaurants, but the kitchen is fully equipped and convenient. Historic old town and the UNC campus are within walking distance.

Overall we were very, very pleased with our stay at this wonderful gem in Old Town, Ft. Collins. Exactly what we wanted and exactly as described. Well kept, immaculate and with all the modern conveniences, in a quiet neighborhood near everything Old Town has to offer. Homeowner very pleasant and responsive to work with. Could not have been happier!

Super little home in central Fort Collins

  • 5 of 5

This home and my stay of one month in it exceeded my expectations. It is comfortable, nicely appointed and clean. All systems are shipshape....so unusual for a rental. The area is quiet and a great place to walk. Stores for anything you may want are not far. The crowning glory is the owners, Rosemary and Jim, who are affable and responsive. I give it five out of five stars...this coming from a "hard to please" person (just ask my husband).

LOVED This Home!!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I took our oldest son to Camp Timberline in Estes Park this summer and we chose to stay at this home in Fort Collins while he was at camp for the week, with our youngest (age 3). The home is absolutely charming! The living/dining/kitchen area isn't quite an open concept, but you definitely feel like it is when in the kitchen and others are in the living area. We loved how the bathroom and two bedrooms opened right up to a little hallway right off the living room. The two bedrooms are side-by-side, which was perfect for us, allowing our 3-year old to be right there in case he woke up in the middle of the night.

The place is super charming and sits on a quiet street - so if you are in the Fort Collins area looking for a place to stay, this is most definitely a great choice! It is very comfortable and feels like a true home-away-from-home.

Also, I would like to add that the owner is wonderful! My husband lost his wallet while we were there and she didn't hesitate to contact the lawn company to see if they had found one...she also notified the housekeeper after we left. We thought it was gone and replaced everything in it, but received a phone call a day or two after we got home from the owner telling us our housekeeping found it! It was in the bottom of a bookcase, behind closed doors...our 3 year old must have hid it from us and we just missed it. Anyways, she (the housekeeper) mailed it back with everything intact and refused to keep any of the money, even after we insisted that she keep it.

Our stay was a wonderful and the way the owner and housekeeper handled the lost wallet situation was absolutely amazing. Don't hesitate to book this house if you are in the area - you won't be disappointed!

Great house in wonderful location

  • 5 of 5

Rosemary and Jim were great to work with and were quick to answer any of our questions. The pictures accurately reflect their house. The house was clean, well stocked and is in a great neighborhood that is close to shopping and downtown Fort Collins. We enjoyed our stay and definitely plan on staying again.
