Built in 1946, this home offers a perfect central location for walking, biking, or easily getting just about anywhere in Fort Collins. Four blocks from the CSU Performing Arts Center, theatre performances and concerts are only a short walk away. The Spring Creek/Poudre bike trails are just a few blocks to the south. Fort Collins's vibrant old town/downtown is a walk or easy bike ride away. Also close are the flower gardens, Whole Foods, Poudre Valley Hospital, the CSU veterinary teaching hospital, and the Fort Collins Club Fitness Center. And, the best part is that in spite of being in the center of so much activity, this home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood on a quiet street.
Inside, the house has been completely updated. The kitchen features a professional style Dacor gas stove and oven that for those who like to cook is a dream to cook on. The master bedroom is spacious and comfortable featuring plenty of storage, the home’s original hardwood floors, and a king-size bed. The second bedroom is small but works well for one person or two small ones who can share the full size bed. Satellite tv, plenty of dvds to choose from and internet access are provided. The laundry room offers a full size washer and gas dryer.
Large Pella doors open to the backyard deck where you’ll find a gas grill and space for outdoor dining or relaxation. The yard is fenced for safety. Finally, there is even a one car attached garage.
This home is strictly non-smoking. While our general policy is no pets preferred, some dogs may be allowed if approved at the time of reservation. An additional pet fee, proof of vaccinations from your veterinarian, and signed pet agreement will be required. Sorry, no cats (due to owner’s allergies) or other pets. The house comfortably accommodates up to three adults or two adults with two children, but it is not appropriate for larger groups or gatherings.

Why Rosemary Steinbeck & Jim Hudelson chose Historic Fort Collins High School
We considered other areas of Colorado but chose Fort Collins because it suits us. It's a small city that offers great amenities, friendly people, and beautiful surroundings.

A month in sunny F.C.
This little house was comfortable and convenient. Walking distance to town, CSU, and close to so many parks and natural areas. Warm and cozy and well-equipped for making quick meals and keeping up with the necessities of life!
A Doll House in a Delightful City!
I have loved Fort Collins since I first visited. Now I have found the perfect house to rent anytime I plan to return. The house is very well laid out and I loved the deck for morning coffee and the front porch for later in the day. The house was immaculate and the owners very gracious. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking in the area.
Great house, great location
We stayed here for a week with two kids (8 and 10) and two small dogs. The house is in a great location on a quiet secluded street, but very close to Old Town, CSU, and many other Fort Collins amenities. Fenced yard provided ample space for our dogs to get out, plus a dog park about 3 blocks away.. The house is very nicely remodeled with a well-appointed kitchen including a few cooking staples like olive oil, salt, pepper, etc. Large TV in the living room with satellite network and lots of DVDs in the house. We really enjoyed using the patio and front deck for morning coffee, afternoon drinks and sunshine. The owner was very responsive on reservation and payment process, and the "About This House" book was a great reference on a couple of occasions we needed help with some "how to's" around the house. Highly recommend.
Perfectly appointed, comfortable home
We had a wonderful week at this home in Fort Collins. It had everything we needed, was comfortable and the location was very convenient. The beds were great, there is a large selection of books and dvds to choose from. This home's kitchen was by far the best appointed of any place I've stayed. We even found a small cooler in the garage to take along on an afternoon drive up to Estes Park. The owners were thoughtful and accommodating. We would happily stay here again!
Cozy, comfortable home!
The description and photos of this home are perfect to give one a sense of its comfort and convenience. Centrally located between north and south Fort Collins, it furnishes easy access to everything in the city, including free movies for the community sponsored by CSU! Neighborhood sidewalks are everywhere and lead to a nearby dog park. The kitchen is super well equipped and efficient for the experienced cook. The owners are thoughtful and eager to help if needed. It was difficult to leave after our six-week stay this winter!
Lovely little mid-century house, totally renovated, in a charming neighborhood and ideal location.
This little house had everything we two needed for a month in charming Ft Collins. We loved the historic neighborhood and the enormous and gorgeous fall trees. The bike trails are easily accessed and beautifully maintained. Ft Collins has extraordinarily good restaurants, but the kitchen is fully equipped and convenient. Historic old town and the UNC campus are within walking distance.
