The dining area features a large table with seating for everyone, set beside expansive windows overlooking the bay. For added comfort, we recommend bringing water shoes to make the most of your time along the shoreline.

Enjoy five barstools at the kitchen counter and comfortable seating areas perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure. Step outside to launch kayaks directly from the property, or unwind on the shoreline while watching the sunset. With thoughtful amenities and a welcoming design, the home makes the ideal base for both relaxation and exploration.

Please be aware that this is a pet-friendly rental. We have dogs coming through on a regular basis to enjoy the backyard of East Beach Cottage. Though we have an exceptional cleaning team, guests with severe allergies or health conditions related to animals should consider renting elsewhere, as even with thorough cleaning, we cannot guarantee a non-reaction. Most guests with this level of sensitivity are aware of the risks when renting any home that allows pets.

Beautiful setting and house. House was well furnished and had nice layout. Located in beautiful area. Communications with owners were excellent from initiation of reservation to departure. Hopefully have a chance or more to return.

We loved our stay in Omena. The property itself couldn’t be in a more perfect location. Having a private beach area with kayaks was amazing. We loved going out each day to play in the sand, kayak and swim. The home was also perfectly located between two towns, Northport and Suttons Bay, that we enjoyed going to to shop and walk around. Our only minor complaint was the home wasn’t as clean as we would prefer but it would not prevent us from recommending or staying here again.

We were looking forward to this for so long and while it didn’t ruin our vacation, we were disappointed with the house. The pictures are outdated. They exaggerate the interior room space and conditions are older. The location pictures are very accurate and the location is wonderful. The house was not clean. The bedding and towels were clean, the home was not. We were returned 1,000 because of it. I do not think the nightly price is fair given the condition of the house even if it was clean. We had a nice time together there and very much enjoyed the outdoor spaces on the property and in the surrounding towns. Michigan is a special place and I encourage everyone to visit this area.

This cottage is beautiful! Great view of the bay, while being tucked away in a quiet wooded area with a good amount of mostly sandy beach. Every thing was clean, and has every amenity you might need during your stay. Very pet friendly! Short drive to a few restaurants, with a couple of markets in the area as well. The hosts are kind, easy to communicate with, quick to respond and gave us some great recommendations. Would definitely stay again!
