The view!

This was the most relaxing trip we’ve had since having children and I hated to leave! The view of the beach and the closeness of the beach made everything so easy. The home was clean and perfect for us. Berta was very helpful with communication, etc. We are so thankful to have found this property and plan to rent it again next year.

Our favorite beach house yet

Perfect location being just steps from the ocean. Our family loved the views from every room and the beautiful deck for family meals. The home was well stocked in the kitchen and the washer and dryer were very useful. The upstairs twin beds were extremely uncomfortable (I *wouldn't* recommend an adult sleeping on those beds) and the upstairs rooms were quite chilly with a blasting AC. Overall fantastic home, location and island. We plan to return year after year.

We visited Fripp Island for the first time in 2000. We came back a month later and bought our first home here. That is a 3 bedroom home on the Ocean Creek Golf Course.

Simply said, we fell instantly, head-over-heels in love with Fripp. In the beginning we lived on the East Coast and were able to spend a great deal of time here. Eventually we moved to the mid-west and that first home became a rental.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Fripp Island the moment we arrived—and Slack Tide captures everything we love most about it. The peaceful location, the sound of the waves, and the ability to watch the sun rise over the Atlantic without ever leaving bed make this home truly special. Every room offers an ocean view, and the layout is ideal for gathering as a family while still giving everyone space to relax.
