The Space:
Let this convenient Folly Beach home located directly across from the beach with amazing river views be your next home away from home! This amazing, two-story, elevated home is situated on a tidal creek with great views of the marsh, ocean, and Morris Island Lighthouse. Enjoy outdoor space from multiple decks and porches on the front and rear of the home and take in sunrises with your coffee or sunsets with a cold libation all while enjoying the sea breeze from the Atlantic Ocean.

Downstairs has a great open floor plan with a fully-equipped kitchen, dining and living room, and three bedrooms. The house has beautiful front porch views of the ocean and the back porch has a relaxing view of the marsh. The main bedroom has a king bed and a private bathroom. There are two queen bedrooms and a full bath on the other side of the first floor. The kitchen comes fully equipped with dishes, pots, pans, a coffee maker, blender, and so much more if you like to cook and eat in. If you prefer to eat out, Folly Beach has a great variety of restaurants about two miles away and just 15 miles away, Downtown Charleston is world-renowned for eclectic dining!

Upstairs has two bedrooms with king beds and private bathrooms. Each room upstairs has balconies with seating to view either the ocean or the marsh. There is fast WiFi internet throughout the house and two Smart televisions on the main floor and one with cable upstairs. This home has been remodeled; all new furniture, updated appliances, new paint, remodeled bathrooms, and new beds and bedding. It has some of the most fantastic views on Folly and has beach access right across the street!

Excellent Property

Our family had a lovely stay! The location, views and experience was just what we needed. The kitchen was well equipped. Beds were sooo comfy! I can’t say enough about the marsh views-the sunsets were breathtaking. Highly recommend this property!

The kitchen setup was great. All the amenities were met. Lot's of games and activities for the kiddos. We loved the dock to watch the tiny crabs and to catch the beautiful sunsets. All the rooms were super clean. The floors were a bit sandy and squishy in the upstairs bedrooms. Not sure if you have water damage. Black mold is in the kitchen and around some vents. I'm sure it's hard to keep up with moisture and elements from the ocean. We had a beautiful family getaway Thank you

Loved this property

This property was perfect we were in town for a wedding. And the location of the home was a short drive back to downtown Charleston.. but the location on the island itself i loved. And i loved that the beach was a short walk across the street. Beautiful veiws of the marsh and ocean

Bachelorette trip

The house was extremely clean, had everything we need and was the perfect location. I thought we were right on the beach but it was across the street so it was easily accessible . Wonderful neighborhood. Would definitely stay again.

This house was perfect for our group. The sunrise in front and sunset over the marsh from the back was a plus!! The kitchen was well stocked. The house was clean, beds were comfortable.

Beautiful

Plenty of room and beautiful views!!! We were there for my sons Ring & parents weekend. I immediately booked it for his graduation weekend. The kitchen is stocked, grill works. We cooked every day. Big table to eat at and picnic table outside…it was perfect!!

Very nice for the price!

Likes: House was great - had lots of space inside and out for us to hang out and beach access across the street was very convenient. We were there for our daughter’s College of Charleston graduation. Dislikes: kitchen desperately in need of upgrade

Great stay at a great location

We Very much enjoyed our stay. Views were nice, hone has been very nicely done. The older kitchen needs a few cabinet tweaks but everything is there and works well. Love the decks and gathering spaces to enjoy the breeze and views. Right across from beach access. Only negatives would be deck needs attention, nails are one of those constant things, be sure kids have sturdy bottom shoes on and the lawn has been reseeded so no current yard play area.

Location location location

Location to the ocean, location to the beach access, location out of the crowds, location to the beautiful living marsh. First time in Folly and it won’t be our last. House met the needs of our group of 10! Kitchen pretty stocked with gear/supplies. The water Filter pitcher in fridge was lovely to use! The ice maker in fridge had a hard time keeping up with our ice demand so we picked up a couple bags and problem solved. Thanks for the great stay.

Beautiful location

Location and views were great. I felt though that the house was more run down than I had expected. Parts felt like an old run-down cottage with drawers and cabinets not working. Also, the floors were slanted as the house had definitely settled. Plus, the outdoor deck could use help as nails are popping and some boards are loose. The place seems structurely sound and the views are great. Just not sure on the price and description.

Perfect Location

Such a perfect location and the house was perfect! Clean and plenty of space for all 10 of us. My only issue was the house was not ready on time. Check in is at 4pm. The cleaning crew was still there until 4:30pm. The cleaning lady apologized and explained to me the last guy who stayed there did not leave at his 10am check out like he was supposed to instead he told her to work around him cause he was working. Which was an inconvenience considering we drove 10 hours and were exhausted and ready to settle in.

Beautiful home, Great location, but needs repairs

The home has a great location and half of it is updated. Two of the bathrooms are very old and so is all the furniture in all the bedrooms. The upstairs porches are dangerous and sagging and wood is soft. Upstairs and downstairs back porches leak water into the back of the house. Floors are wet inside when it rains. The upstairs airconditioning is non functional. We called for 5 days. Someone came out on day 3 but didn't fix it. We contacted Vacasa again and they didn't send anyone out to fix it. The upstairs was over 80 degrees at night. We had seniors staying with us and we were all so hot and couldn't sleep. If it weren't for these issues we would be back again.
