This premium Sealodge vacation rental has one of the most spectacular views in all of Princeville, Kauai! It is perched on an oceanfront cliff with expansive views of the Pacific Ocean, Kauai north shore coastline, Anini reef and Kilauea Lighthouse. From the lanai or living area you experience beautiful sunrises, see whales (in season), spinner dolphins, soaring seabirds, gorgeous rainbows, outrigger canoe races, sailboats, cruise ships, local fishermen on the reef below and 'tow-in' surfers when the "surf is up".

Our Sealodge condo is a premium end corner unit on the second floor (only one-half flight of stairs up) offering both convenience and privacy, in addition to its breathtaking views and gentle breezes. Each year it receives refreshes and upgrades. It is the perfect home base for experiencing one of the most awesome places on earth with its sightseeing, beaches, snorkeling, surfing, hiking, golf and restaurants. The condo itself has a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, high quality and comfortable furnishings, wifi, flat screen HD TV (including Showtime channels) and blu-ray player. There are also numerous Kauai travel, nature and history guides in the 'lift-top' coffee table. Like most of Kauai's waterfront properties which enjoy trade winds and gentle cooling breezes, there is no air conditioning.

Sealodge offers a BBQ area, swimming pool, hiking path to the secluded Sealodge Beach, and is only minutes away from Princeville Center, Hanalei Town, Hanalei Bay beaches, Anini Beach, shopping, restaurants, botanical gardens, unlimited hiking opportunities and numerous other attractions of Kauai's North shore.

All things considered, this is the ideal Kauai condo for couples or singles, and is an exceptional value for the high quality of the unit and its breathtaking views. We believe it is the best unit available at Sealodge. Once you stay, you will want to return year-after-year.

Positives were many: We couldn't have asked for a better view. The binoculars were a plus for whale watching and star gazing from the living room. Conveniently located to shops and restaurants. Kitchen was well stocked.A couple of negatives: The mattress was a little squishy and caused back discomfort. The neighbors above us had heavy feet which were a bit annoying.

Wow! What a view! We loved to sit in the comfortable chairs near the windows in the morning sipping coffee with an ocean breeze and an incredible view. It was awesome listening to the crashing waves at night. The condo was super clean and well appointed with lots of attention to detail. The location was a great launching point for our north coast adventures. We strongly recommend this rental and will be back ourselves.

The view was breath-taking! Saw several pods of whales. Really appreciated the two pair of binoculars that are provided! The property is nicely furnished and clean. Had everything we needed.

Exceptional stay! If you’re concerned about the cost (like I was since I usually stay in hostels to save money), the view alone is worth every penny, but you get so much more than just that: the space is setup so that the first time you walk in the door you already feel at home. Perfect size for my partner and I for 5 days. Equipped with great appliances, including a blender to make smoothies with all the fresh fruit you can get at side-of-the-road stands/vendors around the island. The in-unit laundry was great for washing everything before going home. As far as things to do, everything you need is within a 10 minute drive: Hanalei Bay, plethora of restaurants (including Kalypso, which has the best coconut shrimp on the island), and a family-owned grocery store (Healthy Hut). Above all else, the host was fantastic: he is prompt with his responses, helpful with suggestions of things to do on the island, and went above and beyond to accommodate my partner and I when we requested early check-in because we were in between lodging during a severe storm. I wholeheartedly recommend this place!

The rental was very clean and the views spectacular. We were surprised at the lack of small extra items such as salt or pepper. In most other VRBO properties we stayed, there were a few games, a piece of paper, a pencil, etc. The kitchen amenities were okay, but could use some updating. The same for the bathroom. It was clean but very dated. The queen mattress could be updated also. The views from the room were spectacular.

Thank you for the nice review. Very glad you liked your stay. I do apologize for lack of spices you mentioned, however we always keep a pretty comprehensive supply of salt, pepper and the most commonly used flavorings and spices. They are kept in the kitchen cabinet above the counter. If they were removed for some reason, I apologize. I have not equipped the unit with games, but may rethink this and get a few of the more popular ones. There are a host of guidebooks and books of local interest in the flip top coffee tablelands. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the dishes, cook ware and flatware that you would need for even an extended stay. We even have some not so common things like a French press, coffee bean grinder and rice maker. I can’t imagine what the kitchen is lacking. Thank you very much for your stay, and hope you will consider another in the future.

Had a great stay here for 5 nights in December. The standout for this unit is definitely the View - it's amazing with the unit perched high on a bluff over the ocean. We saw plenty of seabirds and even whales right from small porch. The host was great with the couple things we reached out to him for - very accommodating. The unit itself was great too - exactly what you need and nothing you don't for a couple. Not really a negative, but with the windows open, make sure you like falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean!

The view from this Sealodge condo is stunning. The flat was stocked with every need and meticulously clean. This was an easy choice to skip the bellman and valet to enjoy this truly unique and peaceful accommodation. This location has it all within minutes. Beautiful beaches, trails, groceries, dining, golf/tennis/pickleball. Thank you to the manger for responding immediately for help with the TV system. We will be in touch soon to book again!!

Very nice comfortable place. Just open the windows & sliding glass door to listen to the waves rolling in night and day...clearing the thoughts away...so relaxing. Great location. My wife and I had a great stay. The condo was well stocked and very clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower had great pressure. We came in September which was hot and the home has an assortment of fans and great ocean breeze however if you are sensitive to heat and traveling during the warm season be aware there is no AC. The walk to the beach and views make this location special. We also loved using the beach gear supplied and spent our last day on the beach at Hanalei swimming and enjoying the sunset. We will miss it.

the best view

If you love the ocean, this is the place for you. Direct ocean view from the lanai and ocean and coast view from the sitting room. Comfortable and attractive condo with all you need for a great stay. Location between Hanalei and Kīlauea is ideal. Communication with the owner was quick and informative.

Great base for the north shore! Mesmerizing views, well stocked, comfortable bed, great pillows! Wasn’t bothered or disturbed by any upstairs/downstairs neighbors. Blissful breezes. Be prepared for the 6:00am rooster, as is the norm on the island, and adjust your day accordingly. Get out early and avoid getting burned

Right on the water! Beautiful views and a lovely ocean breeze. We had everything we needed, chairs, an umbrella, towels, a COOLER (which was GREAT). Clean and COMFORTABLE! I loved the little extras too, like the extra hangers, icecream scoop and the vase (had I seen that sooner I would have bought some of those amazing flowers at Foodland for it). Super close to Hanalei and lots of good food choices near by. We wish this little VRBO was ours! We miss it and wouldn't hesitate to rent it again!

This was an excellent choice. For once there were plenty of kitchen items to cook properly. Pots, pan, utensils, baking dishes, can openers, etc. We had three good fans which worked well along with the breeze.Very good shower which Is good for me with colored, bleached, thick hair. Bed was comfortable, view was beautiful, laundry in the unit, good location close to grocery. Very nice Vrbo.

Awesome views of ocean

We have been visiting Kauai and renting at Sealodge for over 25 years. It has always been a dream of ours to own a condo there. We love Kauai and lived nearby for six years until returning to the mainland to be closer to our family.

It has always been a dream of ours to own a Sealodge condo. We fell in love with this unit primarily because of its breathtaking ocean views and privacy. It is a corner unit which provides views in two directions....one view toward the Pacific Ocean and view toward the Kauai coastline (including the Kilauea lighthouse). The views are like watching a nature film with whales, spinner dolphins, soaring sea birds, fishing boats, canoe races, and local fishermen in the reef below.
