The condo itself has a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, high quality and comfortable furnishings, wireless internet, flat screen HD TV (including Showtime channels) blu-ray player and an iPhone/iPad player and docking station. There are also numerous Kauai travel, nature and history guides in the 'lift-top' coffee table.
Sealodge offers a private swimming pool, BBQ area, jungle path to the secluded Sealodge Beach, and is only minutes away from Hanalei Town, Hanalei Bay beaches, Anini Beach and the shopping, restaurants, botanical gardens, unlimited hiking opportunities and numerous other attractions of Kauai's North shore.
All things considered, this is the ideal Kauai condo for two people, and is an exceptional value for the high quality of the unit and its breathtaking views. We believe it is the best unit available at Sealodge. Once you stay, you will want to return year-after-year.

We have been visiting Kauai and renting at Sealodge for over 25 years. It has always been a dream of ours to own a condo there. We love Kauai and lived nearby for six years until returning to the mainland to be closer to our family.

It has always been a dream of ours to own a Sealodge condo. We fell in love with this unit primarily because of its breathtaking ocean views and privacy. It is a corner unit which provides views in two directions....one view toward the Pacific Ocean and view toward the Kauai coastline (including the Kilauea lighthouse). The views are like watching a nature film with whales, spinner dolphins, soaring sea birds, fishing boats, canoe races, and local fishermen in the reef below.
Gorgeous ocean views, gentle ocean breezes, privacy of a second floor unit, only one-half flight of stairs up.
I have read the other reviews for this unit and they are all , without exception high in their praise. We felt instantly at home and enjoyed every second in E9. Tastefully appointed, clean!, well equipped, fabulous view of the north shore. Except for one dinner at the Postcard Cafe (Hanalei) we cooked all our meals. Wonderful fresh produce (vegetables, herbs, fruit) at Farmer's Market in Hanalei on Sat. AM. Dolphin Fish Market at east edge of Hanalei has marvelous fresh fish. Walilui river kayak (twice) is a great afternoon excursion. Waimea Canyon with a stop at Kauai Coffee Plantation was most a day and worth it. Want to come back,next time will stay longer. Only disappointment was that inner reefs at the beaches are not in great condition and snorkeling was not what I had hoped for. We left a yoga mat in the unit as a token of appreciation (and use next time!)
Wow! We truly truly loved our experience on Kayai and staying at Sealodge E9!! Chris and his wife really have thought of everything! Backpack beach chairs, snorkel masks, cooler, lantern...even binoculars! You are right on the water overlooking beautiful beautiful ocean. You can tell based on some of the other units at Sealodge that Chris really has taken pride in renovating his unit. My husband and I have stayed all over the world in VRBO's. This was definitely one of our favorites. Thank you so much for such a great trip! We hope to make it back from the East Coast sooner than later!
We spent a week at this lovely, quiet, condo that has a spectacular water view near Princeville, Kauai.
The decor & space is lovely. The kitchen equipment is great, with sharp knives, great pots & all that one would need to make lovely meals, including a food processor! It was super clean and well-maintained. Chris, the owner was communicative & very helpful. I will recommend this place to my friends.
We enjoyed the Hanalei Waipa farmers market & found some wonderful local fruit there.
I couldn't imagine a nicer place, it is perfect for a couple who want to enjoy some time in Kauai.
My wife and I stayed at this condo for a week. When we arrived the views shown in the pictures are exactly what we saw. The ocean breeze kept the condo cool and enjoyable. The bed was comfy and the space was roomy enough for two people. The pool was enjoyable and we never saw anyone else using it. The unit was quiet and pretty private.
We only had one minor issue with the toilet but it was fixed right away after we called the property management company.
In the end what a great place to say. I have already had several family and friends ask me where I stayed and how they can stay there. If we ever return to Kauai this will be our first choice.
What a treat this place was to call home for a week. It almost felt like living in a lighthouse: perched on the cliff, just wind and sea and palms. Small, but perfect for a couple, with super-convenient amenities (we used the kitchen for breakfasts and a few dinners; the washer / drier were great to have, too) - and spotlessly clean! Tastefully tropical decor, beautiful away-from-it-all location. (I usually get bit by every bug known to humankind, and never got a bite inside the apartment - good screens!). Beach chairs and towels were nice to have there; we could have used a beach parasol for those rare sunny days. We wholeheartedly recommend Sealodge E9. Can't wait to come back.
My wife and I have stayed in a number of VRBO properties from Rome to the Rocky Mountains and this place was without a doubt the nicest we have ever rented. Conveniently located in a quiet complex Sealodge offered everything you typically look for in a rental property. Great view, wonderfully maintained, nicely furnished and well appointed with all the amenities you could possibly need for an extended stay. Above all, it was spotlessly clean which we place very high on our list of priorities. The kitchen was equipped with quality appliances and a full assortment of pots and pans and cooking utensils which was a major plus for us since we prefer to prepare our own meals. We'd read several less than glowing reviews on other units at Sealodge so be aware that the comfort level of individual units varies widely. This unit is top quality and perfect for a couple.
The complex grounds and surrounding area were nicely landscaped and we thoroughly enjoyed long morning walks in the local neighborhoods. Sealodge Beach, just a short hike away, was a perfect escape and typically had to be shared with no more than 2 or 3 other people. A full service grocery store is located within a short drive of the condo and became a convenient stop on the way home from our daily excursions.
We found the north shore to be our favorite part of the island and were glad we decided to spend our full two weeks near Princeville, Hanalei Bay and the Na Pali Coast. We could not have been happier with our accommodations.
Our condo is in Princeville which offers magnificent mountain and ocean views.The condo is located on the north shore of Kauai which features beautiful beaches, golfing, hiking, horseback riding, surfing, paddle boarding, zip-lining, scenic and whale watching cruises, shopping and restaurants. Also, view seasonal wildlife and marine life from the condo.
