The hosts were very timely in their responses. The property was clean and the back deck was the highlight for my stay. I stayed there with family and it was much better than staying in a hotel.

The house was very clean and exactly how it was described. The host checked in but did not over bother our group. We only had a couple questions and they responded fast and were very helpful. This house was awesome and perfect for our trip

Host was very responsive via vrbo messaging. Has a minor issue with an empty propane tank for the outdoor fire pit, but they happily and promptly reimbursed me for refilling the tanks, so it all worked out. House itself is great and a wonderful option if there is snow on the ground because the driveway is flat and wide.

We stayed at Sierra Pines Escape in Pollock Pines this past Friday and Saturday night, and it was easily one of our best getaways. Don’t let the “cabin in the woods” name fool you — this is a beautifully modern home tucked into a secluded, wooded setting that gave us total peace and quiet. Our kids were obsessed with the rope swing and honestly could have stayed on it the entire trip. The house itself was gorgeous, spotless, and welcoming from the moment we walked in, and groceries were just a few miles away, so we had everything we needed. We took some incredible photos in the surrounding woods — the scenery alone made the trip worth it.Chad and BJ were fantastic hosts — quick to respond, communicative, and just genuinely kind people. Everything about this stay was 10/10, truly no notes. We’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet escape… though part of us wants to keep this secret spot to ourselves! We will 100% be back — this is now our go-to spot, and we’re already looking forward to our next stay. Thank you both for such a wonderful time!

Great place for a small family! The hosts were VERY welcoming, the house has been remodeled and was very clean. There were cleaning supplies/materials available for us to use through our stay, which we were very thankful for.Coffee and tea supplies available, along with some sugar, powdered creamer and seasonings. We made homemade pizzas for dinner, so we left a gift of a pizza cutter and baking dishes behind for the next guests, along with unopened sodas. We came for a snow trip, I wish there were sleds available to use in the garage, but we were able to find some at a store on our way up to the snow. But this was a new listing, so I understand that they are still building their supplies.The location is very convenient, close to a gas station and several stores, and just a short drive to Jenkinson Lake. Looking forward to booking a summer trip with my family here, we loved this place!
