The location was perfect! An easy walk to lifts and the village. Our group had a great time. Plenty of space for everyone. I'd definitely rent here again!
Fantastic stay—plenty of room for 6 adults, comfortable beds, great kitchen, and man, that hot tub! The perfect ending to a day on the slopes. Easy walk to the lifts and town. Overall, a great experience.
Easy downhill walk to Payday and Crescent lifts and able to access trail off Kings Crown run back to house. House was cozy, well appointed and had plenty of room for 12 of us (4 kids).
The place was perfect for our bunch! Close proximity to everything. Was a great trip, the hot tub was nice to relax in after a day on the slopes.Wasn’t enough snow on the trail to make this place a ski in ski out … so we walked- about 2 blocks to the lifts (that’s the way weather rolls sometimes.)
This property was perfect for our large group (12) and I would definitely recommend it to others looking for a great location and clean/spacious home. The property manager was very easy to get into contact with.
We had a great stay. It really was just a 5 minute walk to the slopes. The hot tub was delightful and the bedrooms and living room were all very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!
Enjoyed a wonderful few days at this Park City property. Location was great, house was comfortable, clean and exceeded our expectations. Can't wait to visit again!
Really loved the set up for this condo. Large kitchen and family room made for a great place to gather. Bedrooms were out of the way on levels above and below.
This is a very nice unit in a nice location. The bedrooms are all great (only one all bunk beds). Kitchen is nice and well appointed. Terrific common area for big groups. I would stay here again.
The property we stayed in was very comfortable and met all my family's needs. The temperature control worked well on all levels, and the hot tub at the end of the day was fabulous! Getting to and from the ski resort was not a major issue and staying in this residence made our ski trip very enjoyable.
My family had a wonderful time in Park City in this beautiful home. Perfect location with the town and ski lift within walking distance. The home had everything we needed. Management team came by when it started snowing to clean off the steps which was very appreciated. Highly recommend!
Stayed with 2 families, 4 adults and 6 children. Place was great! Very clean and nice spacious layout. Well outfitted kitchen and great overall amenities. A lot of thought was put into what travelers would need in the dry mountain air. Location is close to the lifts - 5 minute walk down hill. Can ski home if snow on the ground and feeling adventurous. Overall great accommodation and highly recommended.
Overall nice spot for the location of Park City Mountain. It really isn't ski in. The trail is a sheet of ice and for inexperienced skiers more of a leg breaker. Really narrow. Outside of that the place is fine for the location.
Our two family group had a great stay at the Shay’s house. Communication with the owner and property manager was easy. The house was well-equipped. The large living area accommodated us all well. If snow cover had been good we could have skied to the house but the walk up the hill from the base was just 5 minutes. And the walk into town was super easy too, just down a few (long) flights of stairs. Overall it was a great experience and we look forward to coming back!

Close to Ski Hill, Cozy, Clean and Fully Stocked
Shay Chalet was perfect for our needs. It provided enough space for the 12 of us, including kids, to relax, spread out and enjoy a great vacation. It was a 5 minute walk down a hill to the base of Park City Mountain Resort. We all walked every day including our kids, youngest age of 9. We were able to store our boots in bin storage for $15 for 24 hours ($60 for 4 days) which allowed us to leave our ski boots down there for the 4 days we skied and keeping our snow boots in storage during the day. We did carry our skis back every night since that would have been $50 a night to store our 5 sets of skis in ski valet. I do have to admit the walk back up the hill at the end of the day was challenging most days. You DEFINITELY need a 4 wheel drive vehicle if you want to access the driveway if there is ANY snow on the ground. It is VERY steep with a hairpin turn. We were unable to get our vehicle up the hill the house was on, let alone the driveway the first night we arrived. The plow driver was A+++ the next morning helping us by clearing and salting the driveway so we could get our vehicle up there. Needless to say we didn't move it the rest of the time if there was any snow falling. The walk to downtown was easy also, after we found the stairs...walk down the driveway and turn to your right. There is a set of stairs about 1-2 houses down on your left. This took us almost all the way down to Park Ave. The stairs are easy to navigate, but again, they are stairs. Over 200 of them...keep that in mind after a few drinks downtown. Hopefully these tips will help future renters! The owners and property manager were available and responsive during the reservation, time leading up to our stay and during our stay. Would stay here again if we are back in PC. Enjoy!

We are so glad you had a good stay and would stay with us again. 2019 has been a crazy good ski season- amazing snow on the slopes, but as a result its been more challenging getting around the local roads without 4 wheel drive.
This property was great for our group. The host was very responsive and the local property manager was fantastic. We had an issue with the hot tub and it was fixed the same day we reported it. The kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials. I can't blame the host for this, but with the current snowpack the ski in/out was not really feasible. Walking to town and the slopes both involve inclines, but it really isnt that big of a deal. I would book here again for a future trip to park city.
In for a wedding, 8 adults fit quite nicely. Everyone agreed the beds were comfortable, even the bunks downstairs. We had some minor issues with supplies, but the property manager did a great job of taking care of us.

About the host
Hosted by Jennette Shay
We are the multi-generational Shay family. We live in Southern California and love to travel and spend time with our family.
Why they chose this property
We purchased this property as a mountain retreat for our Southern California family. We try to bring our entire family together several times a year. We love the outdoors, good restaurants, and active sports. With grandparents, working parents, and teenage and young grandchildren, it was getting harder and harder to find places where we could all comfortably gather. Then we found 1157 Lowell Ave in Park City.
It is a peaceful property with a great room where we can all gather. The kitchen and dining area is perfect for feeding our large group. The 4 bedrooms and a loft give everyone the private space they also need.
We loved the location- the back of the property is nestled into the mountain. The front balcony over looks the beautiful Park City valley.
What makes this property unique
Easy access to Park City Mountain Resort. Ski in and 5 min hike out to Kings Cross ski run, or a 5 minute walk down to the base. Large great room with beautiful views of the Park City valley. Open kitchen and dining area. Four bedrooms + a loft accommodates 12 guests. Private hot tub on the back patio and wood burning fire place.
