Accogliente cabina a 15 piedi dalla riva del fiume Cartecay con ampio ponte schermato, imponente camino in pietra a legna e pavimenti in legno. 2 camere da letto, 1 bagno di tronchi casa completa 6 posti letto in 1 letto matrimoniale, 2 letti estraibili gemelli. TV via cavo, internet wireless, riscaldamento centralizzato e aria offrono comfort moderni in un luogo che ricorda un'epoca passata, ti aspetta vicino al fiume.

Prepara i tuoi pasti preferiti per le vacanze nella nostra cucina completamente attrezzata o griglia le tue specialità per servire all'aperto sul ponte o al tavolo della cucina. Rilassati sul ponte e osserva il fiume che scorre sulle rocce appena oltre la porta dello schermo. Reclinati nella camera da letto principale per il suono e la vista dell'acqua dolcemente brutta. Wade in per rinfrescarsi in estate. Lancia una linea dalla riva, appena fuori dal mazzo. Rilassati davanti al camino e senti il crepitio dei tronchi di legno in inverno. Dirigiti verso l'anello di fuoco per arrostire gli hot dog o tostare i marshmallow.

Avventurati per un'escursione sull'Appalachian Trail, un'avventura in mountain bike nelle vicinanze, un giro lungo il fiume in canoa, kayak o camera d'aria o una visita a un frutteto Ellijay. O semplicemente stai fermo, incantato dalla vista e dal suono del fiume.

The pictures don't do it justice. The screened porch right on the riverbank is a dream. You can hear the gentle sounds of the river through the bedroom windows. The total darkness after lights out is such a treat compared to the light pollution of the city. The location is close enough to go into town for a meal but far enough away to feel like another world.

Secluded, but yet still close to the things we wanted to do.

Very quaint cabin. We loved to hear the sound of the creek while we had our morning coffee and evening night cap. Everything was great. Great value and the Host was easy to work with. We even stayed and extra night.

Quiet Cabin by the River

We were in the area for an event at the Pickens Country Sportsman’s Inc. in Talking Rock so this was a perfect place for my friends and I to stay! The accommodations were clean, comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch as well as listening to the river as we fell asleep each night.

Cozy cabin next to water. Nice and clean. Fire pit should be moved to back side by porch and river. Needs more trimming along bank for fishing. Would recommend this cabin.

Enjoyed our stay by the river, it was so private and no one else was around that weekend... Was unable to fish because the rains pushed the current too high but cannot control the weather, we enjoyed it anyway... We made it up the hill just fine... Would like to come back sometime...

Birthday get-a-way

The cabin is beautiful… pictures do not do it justice. Very private and relaxing. There is a cabin being built next door but we did not hear anything the whole time we were there. The windows stayed closed because the nights was in the 50’s but we could still hear the river from the master bedroom. Everything was clean and very precise instructions on everything were given in advance.

Nice but not as advertised

Very clean, Due to health issues my husband needs a chair rather than sofa, the one shown in photos was not usable. Fire pit had not been cleaned off, would have taken a while of cleaning to be able to use it, even though they knew we were coming. Access to the river was not as clear as shown in photos so couldn't fish. Called the renter a few times before we received a call back. All these issues and fee was non-refundable. After discussing and advising we were having to move to a different location for the rest of our trip and no offer was made for even a portion of the fee. Would not rent again.

Our trip to Ellijay

The cabin is clean, beds comfortable, supplies in the cabin are just about all you need for a week's visit. The front porch is DIVINE! We misunderstood directions to cabin. When turning off main road onto side road (Henry Cantrell) both roads look gravel; take left fork, go to second drive, turn left. Road signs on Riverview are unreadable! The slight(?) incline to cabin is almost impassable....extreme incline. The door to bedroom with twin beds locks when closed! Took us quite a long time to open. Upon arriving, could not open lock box...kind neighbor tried also....He called Jane and she told him of key on ledge. We had driven over 8 hours and were exhausted. Not being able to find cabin then not getting in was quite annoying. After this tho, all went well!!!

Super cozy cabin with screened porch for enjoying the sound of running water from the creek. Beds were comfy and kitchen had all the basics. May want to bring some foil and other spices if you plan on cooking. Beautiful location close enough to town but far enough from the Apple festival crowds.

This cabin was Perfect for a family of four.•I would suggest downloading Jane’s instructions beforehand as cell service might be limited (zero with AT&T).•Once we connected to the house WIFI, lack a reception was a non-issue with WIFI calling. The service was able to handle 4 streaming devices at once with no lag.The highlight of the cabin was the river. We spent most of our time wading in the river. The host, Jane, is readily available and responsive, typically answering questions within 20-30 minutes. We took advantage of Amicalola Falls State Park, Downtown Blue Ridge, Downtown Ellijay.

This little log cabin gets us right on the river, where we enjoy wading, fishing, paddling or just lying out on a rock and soaking up the sun. In winter, the babbling water outside and crackling of the logs in the fireplace create a cozy setting for a good read or a great conversation!
