This lovely apartment is situated in the newly upgraded place St.Francois neighbourhood in the very best part of the Old Nice.
The apartment is light and open, has a big Scandinavian style well equipped kitchen with lounging area, quiet bedroom with King Size bed and luxury mattress, bathroom with heated floor, separate toilet, spacious living room with two comfortable sofas. Air condition & heating.

You are in walking distance of all the right places: Beach, Old Town (you're in it), Promenade des Anglais, Flower Market, Antique Market & Street, lots of restaurants and delis. Public transport to other riviera towns, Monaco and Italy are steps away.

Across the street is the lovely park: Coulée verte - perfect to relax, exercise or stroll.

Great location, comfortable, perfect for our stay

We loved staying in the apartment. Quiet, even though just above the street with the tram, restaurants, boulangerie, shops. On the edge of old town. The master bedroom is quite small, but it holds a king size bed - just barely. We were very happy with our stay. We hosted some friends for a few days, and they loved it too.

Lovely flat in a wonderful old town location close to tram, outdoor markets, restaurants

Kari's flat is comfortable and well-maintained, in a building above a bakery and close to many restaurants. The Cours Saleya market nearby is wonderful, as is the MAMAC (modern art museum), which has a fabulous view. And then, of course, there is the promenade. . . fabulous!

This is a great location to enjoy all Nice has to offer: it is very central and close to great cafes, bistros and restaurants.The flat itself is beautifully appointed: there is everything you could need to make this very much a home from home.All the people with whom we interacted on line and in person were very friendly and warm and totally helpful. I must also mention the generosity of Kari on our last day when our flight was very late.I have stayed in many flats and houses across Europe using VRBO: this apartment is one of the best we have stayed in with an excellent service provided by Kari and her team.

Lovely apartment in great location

The apartment is quite spacious by European standards and quite bright and pleasant. Location would be hard to improve--right on the edge of Vieux Nice , almost adjacent to Place Garibaldi and a short walk to Place Massena. There is a little traffic noise from the adjacent Blvd Jean Jaures (an amazing number of trams pass by) and some boisterousness from people on the street, but the 4th floor location offers some remove. The view from the windows and small balcony is just as lovely as the website pictures suggest. Kitchen is well equipped for light meals and has a very generous sized fridge.

Why they chose this property

I have been renting for the summer in the area for years, just waiting to find the right place to buy. I fell in love with this location at first sight - the potential was obvious! The location is the very best - central, but quiet. And it's great all year. There is always something fun and interesting happening in Nice.

What makes this property unique

The building is so full of history, and the neighbours are very friendly. The view is open and inspiring. I do quite a lot of writing, so both the apartment and the nearby cafés are very inspirational writing spots. I love going down to the baker on the ground in my pyjamas to get fresh bread in the morning.
