SPECIAL RATE - New Waimea Listing 2BR/2BA
He Hale ia no ke Aloha
“A home that offers the chance to share in a reciprocal expression of ALOHA from the time you arrive to long after you leave.”
Whether youʻre a visitor or Hawaiʻi resident planning a trip to Hawaiʻi Island or looking for a home away from home for your family or friends, here is an ideal residence in Waimea (Kamuela 96743) nestled between the mountains and hillsides steeped in the history of ranching, farming, local culture, and Hawaiian traditions.
You are invited to this home that’s hosted, owned, and managed by a Native Hawaiian family with proceeds from staying at this property going towards supporting Hawaiian educational and cultural activities in the community. Your hosts are retired educators, born and raised in the islands and an integral part of the community, who reside in an adjacent home and who are available to address any needs or concerns. Hosts are also available to answer questions you may have, provide insight about Hawaiian cultural traditions, places to visit, and dining options to help you enhance your experience on the island. Guestsʻ privacy is respected. Since this is a new listing, there aren't many reviews yet. Be assured that close attention has been given to details in the home as hosts have vast travel experiences at various vacation rentals with particular expectations.
Offered is a spacious, clean, and newly renovated 2BR/2BA house in a private cul de sac in the town of Waimea just a few minutes from restaurants, stores, and medical facilities. The bedrooms each feature a queen bed, ceiling fan, and dresser. The couch in the living room opens up into an additional bed if needed. The home is furnished with new appliances, beddings and household items. A complete kitchen includes lots of space for food preparation. For the health of guests and environment, non-toxic cleaning products are applied in the home. The carport and property can accommodate parking for two vehicles.
The unique ambience of this property includes native and other plants used for lei making, medicinal, and sustenance. In addition, the home is enriched with Hawaiian cultural objects and artwork depicting traditions, many of which are still practiced by those of Waimea, along with a library of books to expand your knowledge of Hawaiian history and culture.
For those experiencing Waimea or Hawaiʻi Island for the first time, this is a perfect introduction to a landscape and community that maintains a connection to a way of life that has been passed down through generations. Infused with the paniolo (Hawaiian cowboy) heritage along with the historic Parker Ranch, Waimea is also known for its celebrated restaurants, vibrant farmers markets and small-town charm. The pleasant climate includes cool mornings and evenings, occasional afternoon misty rains and beautiful sunny days. Here you will enjoy the crisp mountain air, the beautiful countryside, rolling pastures, and lush surroundings. The town is located 15 minutes from renowned Hapuna Beach and other South Kohala coastal areas. Also, located 45 minutes from Kona (KOA) International Airport and 75 minutes from Hilo (ITO) International Airport.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.
