The Space:

This warm and inviting oceanfront home was designed to draw in the incredible whitewater views. Located right on the bluff of the beautiful Mendocino Coast, it boasts an outdoor kitchen with a gas grill and an observation deck over a private cove. Enjoy seasonal whale watching, various sea birds, and the hypnotizing sounds of the crashing ocean waves. On blustery mornings, sip your coffee from the cozy sunroom, while taking in the panoramic view. Tired after a long day exploring the city? Enjoy the ambiance of the flames in the electric fireplace.



This home is located between Mendocino and Fort Bragg, just one mile from the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens and a short drive from Belinda Point Beach, McKerricher State Park, Noyo Harbor, Glass Beach, the Fort Bragg Coastal Trail, and several shops and restaurants in the towns of Mendocino and Fort Bragg.

There is no beach access from this home. For your safety, do not climb on the bluff.

This rental is not suitable for small children due to the proximity of the bluff.

Please take into consideration that the primary bedroom is an open loft.

WOW! What a great place! The location is just minutes from Fort Bragg, Mendocino (must see) and hiking. Plus, it is right on the ocean with fantastic views.And the house...great layout, fully stocked kitchen and very clean.

Relaxing and restful

This is our second time staying here. It’s a very clean place with ample space. The couch is comp y the beds are firm and the views from each room are fantastic! We loved watching the sunset fromThe deck and the upstairs observation room was nice when it was too cold out. Host communication was great. Had no trouble checking in or out. The kitchen is well stocked to make a meal. Would stay here again.

Great view

Super clean. Very spacious. Amazing views of the ocean. Had everything we needed to make breakfast. Can use Apple air play w tv. All bedrooms had a view of the water. The patio was fantastic to watch the sun set. Great location close to Town but not in the hustle and bustle of it. We would stay again.

The view is stunning

This house worked out perfect for us luckily but had we brought children it would’ve been challenging because the master bedroom was upstairs which is OK but it was a loft which they did not mention and the photographs did not indicate. So whoever slept in the master bedroom didn’t get to shut the door Because there was no door. I reviewed the pictures in detail it was absolutely not indicated that the master bedroom would be open to the living area down below. that’s my only complaint. When you look at the pictures online they are definitely trying to hide the fact that there’s an opening. My husband worked there all week and it was fantastic because he had a private little glassed in porch with windows and could leave the windows open and listen to the ocean or if it got chilly could close them. Overall the house really is nice. I would recommend show me that at the loft is there. The stairway has very small steps.

Great get-away spot

Well-appointed home, as advertised, with amazing ocean views. Lovely Botanic Gardens within walking distance and many parks and dining options within a few miles' drive. However, we found it hard to leave this excellent perch above the ocean!

Pricey. Easy in and out, clean, well equipped, with stunning views. We saw over 100 whales within 2 days.

Beautiful ocean view

Place was very nice. Incredible views from all rooms. Stairs to second floor a bit steep, might be tricky for older folk. No washer/dryer, so not great for longer stays. Location close to Mendocino & Fort Bragg. Nest (heating & A/C) was a complicated to use.

Extraordinary ocean view

Very well-kept and very user friendly home. Plenty of information on how to use the home. We liked the owners suggestions about things to do in the area. Just a couple suggestions…. Dish cloths in the kitchen to wipe the counters, stove and table would have been more helpful than the one small sponge. We all felt that reflective strips on the steps that go out to the gray over-look area would be a good safety feature.

Incredible Place

The view is unbelievable! Listening to the waves, watching the sea lions play in the water, we could have not asked for anything more. Great location between Fort Bragg and Mendocino. The house was perfect for us. We left saying this was one of the best vacations we have ever had. LOVE this place

Retirement celebration

Wonderful view of the ocean and coast from inside and outside. Very clean and nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable and all bedrooms had views of the ocean. The house did seem smaller than the pictures lead us to believe, but it was plenty adequate. Would like to have had a coat rack or hooks to hang coats on. I would also suggest a first aid kit. We needed some bandages for one of our guests cut. Could not find one in the home. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Awesome views!

House is perfect for a family with adult children or 3 couples. Great views. Only thing missing is a hot tub. Great location between Caspar and Ft Bragg and lots of great hikes. Highly recommend!

Ocean getaway

Breathtaking location. This property was difficult to find with the directions provided (behind an unobtrusive gate right before the street that MapQuest told us to turn on). Mentioning this in an e-mail would be great. I contacted the property owner inquiring about the fires prior to our arrival and never received a response.

Picture perfect getaway

This house was more than what we imagined it to be. So well maintained with a convenient layout and well-equipped. Our family got away for a few days during COVID and it was idyllic. The sound of the ocean and the view from the master bedroom and study gave each of us space to unwind and relax. Convenient to activities, groceries and the little town of Mendocino. Just a 4-hour drive from the Bay Area and we also got some wine tasting in on the way there and back.
