The home was cozy, inviting, and adorable! We had a great time and loved how close we were to the store and dock. It was very clean, and very well-maintained. We loved our visit!

Great location
Location was great! Easy walk to the beach. We were visiting family in the area, so we honestly only slept at the house. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. Owners are very responsive. Easy check-in and out. I recommended to my family, who live in the area, that if they ever have a lot of people in town again and need extra space, they should consider it. This would be an excellent place for people to stay.
We found this home to be charming for sure! Well appointed and very comfortable. Maybe not suitable for handicapped as one bedroom is upstairs. Also the front steps to the entrance are steep and there is no hand rail. But the downstairs bedroom and bath is very nice. I used that one as I am handicapped.
The space is simple but homey, a little like grandma’s house, if grandma lived in an idyllic PNW neighborhood a 2-minute stroll from the Indianola pier. It’s a beautiful spot with cozy charm.
My husband, our friend, and I all stayed at this property over a weekend to attend a local festival in town. The property and it's neighborhood is so delightful! We appreciated the opportunity to stay at this lovely home.
We had a great stay. I was traveling with my toddler and a friend with her toddler. The house was cozy and had a great yard for playing. The location is great — so close to the pier/beach and country store and the general vibe of the town is very laidback and friendly. Would definitely stay there again
Clean, comfortable, and a 2 minute walk from the store. Weren't able to find the smart remote(s) needed to access streaming on the TVs, but everyone brought their laptops so we didn't look very hard. Would happily stay again.
The house is local to store, pier and beach. Good parking for two cars. Second bedroom is upstairs and stairs are steep but nice and quiet upstairs. Great kitchen for a group of people. Home met our needs.

Great house. Great, great location.
*Front door knob is not working correctly
*More pillows needed for a family of 6
*Box fan or any fan would be ideal for the summer

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Listing accuracy
Would not stay again
No WiFi, no DVD player, toaster sparked and burned the toast setting off the smoke detectors, no deck, nothing to do except walk the beach and boardwalk. We drove to Kingston and bought a puzzle. Need to take own board games and cards. Bed in downstairs bedroom was hard, not enough comfortable seating for 4 adults. Sofa was fine for 2 or 3 people but wood chair was horrible. Lots of spiders. We paid for 5 adults and one children but only 4 adults ended up going which was a blessing due to the beds and lack of seating. Dining room table had 4 chairs. Bed upstairs was comfortable but the 2nd night we found a spider in the bed. There was a security guard at night watching over the beach and boardwalk as there is a problem with kids from a neighboring town doing hard drugs on the beach. We wanted to leave a day early but stayed since there was no refund.

meh
This really could have been a great stay. A few things left it lacking, all of which I think point to management issues, not the dwelling itself. Let's start at the beginning. Immediately after booking Evolve (management company) is in communication which seems great. You are given contact info for people to connect with, not just email. I did text (as instructed) to inquire about early check-in but never was given a response. No big, my sister and I just found stuff to do before checking in. House/cabin is cute. Easy to find, parking right out front or inside the fence. The people fence to get to the front door does take 2 hands to operate which is a bit of a pain when you are trying to bring stuff in. If anyone in your party has mobility issues, this is not the place for you. The front steps are unusually high which can be difficult to climb. There was an overabundance of cobwebs throughout the home which caused us to run around with a broom trying to knock them all down before running into more. The house was very musty and required a good airing out to eliminate the smell. There was what appeared to be dried boogers on the wall in the downstairs bedroom next to the bed (anyone with kids knows this can be a thing). Downstairs bathroom very small and again, if there are mobility issues in your party this is not for you. This could really be a 5 star booking with a bit of effort from the cleaning crew/management company.

Hi Heather, we’re glad to hear you found the home charming, easy to find, and well-located. Those are definitely some of its highlights. The right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and we wanted to share the following:- While the home’s layout is clearly shown in the listing photos, we understand the front steps and smaller bathroom might not work well for guests with mobility concerns. We appreciate you pointing this out and will look into clarifying those details even further in the listing.- We’re sorry you didn’t hear back regarding early check-in. The owner typically replies quickly to texts, but if the booking came through a different platform, it’s possible their contact information wasn’t shared. We’ll work together to ensure guests always know the best way to get in touch.- We’re addressing your concerns with the cleaning crew directly. The musty smell, cobwebs, and condition of the wall by the bed are not acceptable, and we’ll make sure these areas are improved for future guests. Thanks again for your helpful feedback. We’re confident this home can deliver a five-star experience with just a few thoughtful adjustments!

Nice home base
We needed a place to stay for my father-in-laws memorial service in Kingston. It was a comfortable place to stay for our family of five.
Arriving late we found everything ready for a pleasant nights sleep. The house is furnished with comfortably used furniture and household items giving it a feeling of visiting grandma’s house. The location is great for beach exploration. It would have been nice to have 6 chairs at the dining room table and 6 coffee mugs. (The table had 4 chairs and there were only 2 nice sized coffee mugs so we took turns using them.). We enjoyed our adventure visiting the home in Indianola. Especially using the heart shaped waffle iron.
This was a great spot for our family of 4, but would be great for two couples or family plus grandparents. Upstairs bedroom was great for us parents. Downstairs had a bed for 2 plus a futon for 2. Super clean and felt airy and big! Smelled fresh too - no cabiny old house smells. Tree swing was a hit with our kids (6&8). Easy walk to the famous dock, swimming beach, and adorable country store. Definitely would stay again!!!
Great location and close to the center of town/dock. Bright and light inside. Kitchen was well equipped too. Luckily two of our party of six didn’t come (due to Covid) since there were only two bedrooms. I think I didn’t read the listing well enough to see the futon was in the main floor bedroom.
We really liked the house, just $$$ for two couples.
Need additional sitting. Six can sleep but only five chairs for kitchen and only couch and one chair in living room. Additional kitchen utensils would be nice also. Long fork, tongs, things that add to a nice easy stay. And PLEASE, get cable and get rid of whatever system that's there.
We were so happy with our stay! Had everything we needed. Literal five min walk to the country store and the dock. Everything was clean and comfortable. Absolutely lovely. Thank you!!
Property was very nice, loved how beach was close and so was the store with necessities to get you by. One thing I’d add is having option for Wi-Fi for guests otherwise everything was great!
Great location and just beautiful. We had coffee and fresh blue berries muffins from the corner store each morning. Nice clean rental, but needs a couple of updates. The hot water heater allows one bath or shower and the shower head in the upstairs bathroom doesn't work properly. It was a little musty when we first arrived, but freshened up quickly. The mattresses weren’t the greatest, but hey, it’s a rental. I would stay again if I needed a place in this area.

Comfortable house, nice kitchen. No Wi-Fi. Nice upstairs bedroom; downstairs pretty small to sleep 4
Great location... beautiful setting. Short walk to the water and to a cute little country store/deli. Short car ride to the Edmonds ferry.
