Relax and enjoy the peaceful lake breezes at Honeoye Hideaway. Tucked beneath large pines, this two bedroom home features a wraparound porch with Adirondack chairs. It is the perfect spot to relax with a glass of wine while watching the sun set over the western shores of beautiful Honeoye Lake. Enter from the front porch to the open living and dining area. These rooms are tastefully decorated in neutral colors, and you’ll want to be sure to open up those lakefront windows to enjoy the sounds and fresh smells of the lake. The dining table offers formal seating for four, and the breakfast bar separating the dining and kitchen areas offers more casual seating for four. Located at the back of the cottage you will find sliding glass doors that take you to the side deck the separate entry door make this a great room to hide away for a while. A full bath with shower stall is located off the living room.
A small spiral staircase leads to two bedrooms on the second floor. The first bedroom has a double bed and features two armchairs in front of a large dormer window overlooking the lake. This is the perfect spot to curl up with a good book. The second bedroom, also with double bed, offers a view of the lake through the south facing side window.
Located directly across the quiet residential road is the waterfront with a dock. Just a short walk down the road is a neighborhood park with boat launch, swing sets, volleyball net, horseshoe pits, and large lawn area with grills.
The small town of Honeoye is less than two miles away, where you will find shopping and dining options. You’ll want to save some time and money to visit the Wizard of Clay pottery shop, which is just over three miles away. Here you will find beautiful pieces of artwork, including some that have been featured on HGTV! Trident Marine is located less than one half mile to the south of Honeoye Hideaway, and here you will find boats for rent or sale, as well as dining at the Honeoye Inn “on the lake”. Just a short drive to the south is the picturesque town of Naples, offering even more dining and shopping pleasures. Harriet Hollister Spencer Park is located high above the western shores of Honeoye Lake and offers picnic tables, hiking, cross-country skiing and biking trails.
