Very comfortable modern home to rent. Beds were good. Kitchen was well equipment. The yards was amazing with shade available the entire day under the trees to relax and watch the kids playing outside. We would definitely recommend staying here.

In the 60 years that I have been going to Block Island, I have only stayed in the family cottage on the bluffs, so I was a little hesitant to stay at another location. My hesitation disappeared as soon as I entered the grounds of Blackberry Meadow. The hedge hides the house and yard from the road and makes it feel like a secluded get-away. The yard is lovely with gardens, a swing, plenty of chaise lounges to relax, a nice fire pit and pretty little pond. Check-in was the easiest ever. The house is spacious, welcoming and clean. The decor was fun and interesting, many with animal themes. I loved the little spouting whale stained glass window in the half bath. The kitchen was well-equipped, the living room comfy and inviting, the bedrooms were very roomy and comfortable. The master bedroom suite was beautiful. It was just my husband and I and the dog(thank you for being pet-friendly). We were out most of the time, but could see plenty of books, games, boogie boards and other items that would be a lot of fun for a family with kids. It is a beautiful house and property that we would not hesitate to stay at again.
