Our family is based in the Pacific Northwest and spends a lot of time in the Mt. Baker area throughout the year. We're big Skiers and Hikers and love to Ski at Mount Baker Ski Resort in the winter, and hike the incredible Mount Baker Wilderness in the summer. We originally chose this Snowater condo because it offered a rare mix of quiet forest surroundings, resort amenities, and easy access to outdoor activities in every season.
We enjoy hosting because we value well-run, comfortable places to stay ourselves, and we’ve tried to set this condo up the same way: practical, thoughtfully stocked, and easy to settle into whether you’re here for a weekend or a longer stay. We personally use the unit, maintain it carefully, and continuously make small improvements based on real guest needs.
Our goal as hosts is to provide a clean, reliable, and comfortable space so guests can focus on enjoying their time in the mountains without unnecessary friction or surprises. We’re responsive, detail-oriented, and happy to help make your stay smooth and stress-free.

Snowater Resort is set on a large, wooded property along the Nooksack River, just outside the town of Glacier. The resort feels peaceful and tucked away, surrounded by trees and mountain air, yet it’s thoughtfully designed with shared amenities that make it easy to enjoy year-round.
One of the best parts of the area is how walkable it is within the resort itself. There are forest paths, picnic areas, pools, and recreation spaces are all just steps away. Our unit is located in the Trapper building, which is especially convenient because it’s closest to the main Recreation Center with indoor pools, hot tubs, a fitness room, and common areas.
Outside the resort, you’re a short drive from Mt. Baker Ski Area, trailheads, rivers, and scenic drives through the national forest. Cell service is limited in the area, which adds to the quiet, unplugged feel, while resort Wi-Fi and in-unit internet provide connectivity when needed. It’s a setting that feels genuinely removed without being inconvenient.
Even though you're well removed, there's still a charming selection of small restaurants and breweries, and you're still less than an hours drive from the town of Bellingham, or the Canadian border!

We also love our dog, and have decided to make this unit pet friendly with a small dog bed and complimentary dog treats.
The layout balances privacy and flexibility, with a dedicated bedroom, a living area that converts to additional sleeping space, and a covered deck that looks out onto quiet green space away from roads and parking areas. Inside, guests consistently appreciate the clean, functional design, upgraded bathroom, and small details like charging ports, reading lights, and gear-friendly entry storage.
Being located closest to the Recreation Center is another major advantage, especially for guests traveling with kids or planning to use the pools, gym, and indoor amenities regularly. Combined with family-friendly extras like a pack-and-play, high chair, toys, and safety touches, the condo is designed to be easy, comfortable, and practical, not just attractive in photos.
