About Darlina Eichman

Hi. I was born and raised in Colorado Springs and have a true love of the mountain lifestyle and beauty. Most of my family lives here, so I grew up with tons of aunts, uncles and cousins. I met my husband while attending Colorado College and we now have one son and three grandchildren living here. It's not only a splendid place to live but is on the top of many Americans' touring list. Even as Colorado natives, we never run out of things to do. We love to hike, bike, ski, river raft, attend camps and colleges and shop at the local stores in Manitou Springs and Old Colorado City. Each summer we attend the Colorado Renaissance Festival, which is a lot of fun!

Darlina Eichman purchased this house in 2013

Why Darlina Eichman chose South Central

We searched all over the central front range for the best location to put our vacation home and found it in Monument. What's so special about Monument? It's quiet. The views are incredible. There is easy access to restaurants, big box stores and local coffee shops. Plus the small historic town has the nicest people!

What makes this house unique

Growing up with a view of Pikes Peak made me think that every kid had a mountain in his/her backyard. After living many years in my young adulthood in other states, I began to appreciate how much beauty, spiritual calm and fun awaited me in my home town. When I moved back, I took advantage of the things I had taken for granted and fell in love with Colorado. My husband is originally from Wisconsin and he loves the milder Colorado winters. The springtime is sweet with fragrant flowers. Summers are dry (except for the occaisional July downpour that will soak you wet and be gone in 20 minutes) and cool at night. Autumn makes Colorado colorful. Our Colorado vacation home shows off all these attributes.

Wonderful house!

  • 5 of 5

The house was very nice and well taken care of. The location was perfect for us. It is just one exit north of the USAFA north gate entrance. Also close enough for access to other activities in Colorado Springs. It is a perfect location for USAFA parents' weekend or graduation.

Perfect spot! Easy travel to all the scenic trails!

  • 5 of 5

We spent a week here and loved it! Everything at the house was perfect. The views, location, and all the amenities were "just like home." We bought groceries which saved lots of money so we could see all of the attractions. During our stay we visited Denver, Red Rock Amphitheater, The Garden of The Gods, Seven Falls, Red Rock Canyon, Pikes Peak, Manitou Springs, and many hiking trails. Very happy with everything we accomplished in one week!

This is a beautiful home in a very nice neighborhood.

  • 5 of 5

Our family really enjoyed our stay here. The home has a nice layout with gorgeous views of the Colorado mountains. It is a convenient location for all the tourist attractions. The owners have taken time to put together a nice collection of local attractions. There are several games for the family to play including Foosball which we had lots of fun with.

Awesome Summer Colorado Vacation

  • 5 of 5

This house provided a great home base for our summer vacation! It is beaufifully decorated and provided all amenities! Our kids loved the downstairs game room and played foosball at every opportunity! The kitchen has great appliances and is well stocked for cooking. We opted to cook most evenings after the day's adventure. We enjoyed ending the day with a soak in the hot tub white enjoying a view of the mountains. The Eichmans are wonderful property owners that went the extra mile to make sure our vacation was all we had hoped for! Thank you for your hospitality and quick responses during our stay! We created some wonderful memories in Colorado!

Beautiful Home

  • 5 of 5

We very much enjoyed this house. Beautiful home with a great view, the hot tub was a lot of fun at the end of the day. Bedrooms were good, kitchen was well appointed, and the living space was beautiful. Not a huge dining table but we used the breakfast counter plus the table and sat outside a lot. Easy space to be with children and we'd definitely come again!
